The Mimosa ladies are now starting to bloom πŸŽ‰ I hope they don't stretch too much though. The light is almost at the highest position because I want to prevent another light stress episode. Ofcourse there is always supercropping, but I want to prevent any stress at this point. I'm slowly switching to bloom nutrients but in small amounts. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures later this week β˜˜οΈπŸ˜€ The two plants in the back are full in bloom, but the one in the front is kind of a late-bloomer. It may make a sprint to the finish, but otherwise I will harvest the two other plant and leave this one to bloom a bit longer. We still have 4 to 5 weeks ahead of us and so much can happen in a few weeks. I'm very happy about how the plants made their recovery after the light stress. They look great and seem in good condition.

13 hours and 33 minutes of daylight when I took these photos and this video on August 27th. I've been slacking this month on uploading, having to play catch-up with this just like everything else in my life. I'm so glad it's going to be September in a couple days. The weather is cooling off thankfullyπŸ™ So, I cover most of the situation in the video, but basically GG (Good Girl) is looking great and her flowers are coming along nicely, whereas PC (Problem Child) is still continuing to be a Problem. Child. First of all, PC is a much heavier feeder than GG. I have to give her almost 2x as much food as I give the other plants for her to have the same color. And since I've been running around all August and haven't had much time to tend to my beauties, I haven't been feeding as much as I could have. The other photoperiods are fine, They're still getting nutes from the soil and hopefully the mycelium from the substrate blocks have moved into the root system and are acting like good roommates and doing their part to support the soil foodweb. But this isn't enough for PC. Her flower development is definitely behind and her color is a brighter green than the other plants. Hopefully I'll have time this month to just put the groceries to her and encourage those flowers to bloom because now I'm worried about the frost that will start coming in early October. Frost and ripe trichomes don't mix very well. My apologies for repeating myself in the video😬

A good week for growth and root building below decks . I had planned to veg for another couple of weeks but I think i may have to flip sooner. With a likely 100% stretch to come and the size of some of the other plants in the room , Wedding cake is nice and bushy following her training and strip out. She still looks a little small on her stems thickness but that could change following a stretch. Ghost o.g is a strange lady. she has been slower since breaking ground and shows no signs it changing her pace. Her leaves are very fat and quite thick too. Stem wise there will be no bending as they are so close to the stem.she was topped but a thick main will still be her contribution I think. GG#4 is way ahead in her height with wider node spacing though so I expect in Gorilla fashion , she will need some support in late flower. I am still on the 1st res with them and plan to keep adding additional water and not empty the res at all. Sunday mat be flip time if they keep growing as they have this week. Be safe and well.

Both plants are doing very well... One of the two plants is a week ahead and the buds are very firm and compact... The smell is sweet and intense. The stem of the plant is quite thin, I hope the buds won't be so heavy...The reason is I only started fertilizing in the flowering phase I will now fertilize my plant for another week before I start rinsing

πŸ‘‰Its week 11 and the plant is looking beautiful. Lots of bud sites all over the plant. The plant is looking healthy and seems to be thriving. The tips of the leaves on the new growth at the top of the plant show a brown. I had a day when the outflow of the fertigation was +30. I did a low EC fertigation right away and more regular EC. Since then Ive kept the run off within 10 by preceding ever other fertigation with a low EC feeding with just enough volume to get a few mls of run-off. On the GHE drain to waste feed chart Im on Mid-Bloom mixture. I am guessing it may be 2-3 weeks before its in 'late bloom' stage. Im still mixing full strength and the EC for a batch is 1.5ms. While I believe that by allowing the run-off of fertigation to reach +30 is what cause the brown tips. Im also mindful that I may need to dilute the batch a little. To see the effects of nutrient/media issues it can take a couple of days if its subtle. So if I continue to see the bright green tips of new leaves turn brown then Ill lower dilute the mix. Ive seen no other possible indicators of negative issues. πŸ‘‰The plant is filling out nicely all over. Marble sized fuzzy pearls are scattered all over. There isnt much aroma besides the typical young cannabis plant smell. Ive squeeze a couple small buds, there are visible trichomes and its sticky to touch, but no notable aroma. The trichomes are coming out all over the place and it should make for a very fuzzy plant. πŸ‘‰I have removed a couple more small branches and shaded leaves and will only take vegetation that is showing issues or totally shaded and showing lack of vigor. I have installed the bamboo steaks that I will use for support for the branches. I attach them to the metal posts attached to the hoop around the base of the pot. This keeps the steaks out of the media. The Plant is 36" and the early flower stretch seems to have slowed. I have 6 more inches of light adjustment height before I have to resort to spreading the light supports and angling the lights to allow for more height. πŸ‘‰This coming week should be more of the same as 99 slowly matures. I have a new fan that I may install. Currently I have a 4" 190cfm exhaust fan (vented outside). I anticipate as temperatures drop outside my tent temps with rise like they did last spring. Im not using a cob light this time and surprisingly the temps have stayed steady at 78-80. The new fan is a 6" and 440cfm. I have a variable speed controller to use on it and will hopefully be able to have more control and success at maintaining cool temperatures better during the more mild weather (sounds convoluted I know).

Hot, humid and stormy AF was a good way to describe the past week. Daytime highs were 25-30°C (feeling like 35-40°C) with almost daily thunderstorms in the evenings. Heavy winds, downpours and even a bit of hail to spice up the mix! The girls stood their ground and weathered it all. But then again when you have legs like these two it's hard to get knocked down. Stalk and branches are all thickening up nicely, hoping this means will be able to handle the bud load without netting this year 🀞. Watering every 48 hours and feeding once a week with Reefertilizer Grow. Regular waterings are soaking the pots with a garden hose for a good 3-4 minutes each, and feedings are 12L of nutrient mix on Fridays. Probably have to do a defoliation this week before these girls push into flower, the insides are getting quite dense. Happy growing!

Massive growth. Many new leaves sprouting out. Re-potted with Fox Farm fertilized soil instead of unfertilized soil. Fertilized water with Holy Mackerel once a week.

Day 59, 1st of October 2020: She quiclky reactod to the Topping.... i topped her 14x 14 branches and already growing out rapidly. She is bushy and looking good time to start flowering. I will leave her in 36 hours of darkness before the 9th week ends so on Saturday (todY is thursday) till monday morning. Let's make her flower :) Day 60, 2nd of October 2020: Alright so time has come; she needs to start flowering. Look at her the last 5 pictures (Day 60)πŸ“· before I place her for 54 hours darkness I mean 17:00 o'clock on (today) Friday to 23:00 o'clock on Sunday. Can I count well? so ... 17:00 o'clock to 23:00 o'clock is 6 hours (23:00 o'clock lamp switches on) and next Saturday 23:00 o'clock is 24 hours and one more 24 hours is Sunday 23:00 o'clock πŸ€ͺ so 24+24+6 = 54!!!!! Yes!πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ I have never been good at mathematics πŸ™ƒ Okay so I gave her a lot of water and also sprinkled the soil with bat guano before i put her in darkness. I added more nitrogen because she seems to be very hungry for that again and put her to πŸ’€ 😴 πŸ›οΈ. So let's start flowering say goodbye and see you soon 😊 Day 62, 4th of October 2020: Here we go I took her out after 48 hours just to take pictures πŸ“· Flowering has started so from now the lamp switches on 23:00 o'clock and it works till 11:00 o ⏰ . Let's see how she streches and go crazy :) Photos are uploaded. The nice neon-green tops are appeard like always after leaving them in darkness :)
