Week 2 Franky is stretching. It needs more water than usually. I pick out leaves from the bottom part every day. In roundabout 10/12 days I will do a big defoil. Till then I might take off a leaf here and there to stop it from overstretching

Hello dear growers Sorry for late update got a lot to do last few months Did switch them to 12/12 last week They got already preflowers Also did buy new bit bigger tent Ladies looking not so happy due to wrong ph (was not in the city) Hopefully will get them healthy next few days

Day 36 Done nothing just let them grow and trimmed a few leaves Day 37 - watered them with feeding. Decreased the amount by 25% except the base nutes. Added 12ml CalMag on 4L water by request of the community. If leaves curl down more, I will consider a flush. Day 38 No feed. Color changed from the middleone overnight, I think that’s a good sign. Maybe someone can comment on that 💪🏽. For me it looks very good, I know a few leaves show signs of nutrient burn but I decreased already and no new signs appeared Day 39 No feed until tomorrow. Day 40 Fed them with very low amount of fertilizer. I aimed for a ppm of 1000 but I went a bit higher until I have osmosis water . Runoff ppm was 2000, but I have to say I am measuring ppm since this week and will fix this problem Day 42 No feed

Both of the girls are really packing on the weight now. These are their last week or two. Haven't decided whether I'm going to harvest this week or next. But you'll see a harvest post soon, I'm sure :) It doesn't look like left is quite ready for harvest(white hairs popping up still), but I'm going to chop them both at the same time, regardless. I may do so a bit later on account of left being behind. If anything, I'll just harvest right, then do left a week or so later. Cheers everyone! Really like this strain, but it does have quite ugly leaves lmao. Update: The girls officially got the chop on the 20th. They've been drying ever since. Did a leaf strip and then hung em up. Stay tuned next week for a grow/smoke report :) Harvested at about 90% cloudy 10% amber trichs. The smell is incredible! I can smell it as soon as I open the door to the room they're drying in. This was a pretty fun grow, but I don't think I'll be running this strain again during the winter. Looking for more hardy strains to better handle our fluctuating climate.

DAY 1 (06/03/2020) The seedlings started growing tonight after 4 days since they were planted inside the rockwool cube (02/03/2020). They are under a 23w CFL until they are a little taller and start to make the first 2 leaves. The distance is very small from the light to not get them too stretched. Feeding just water now. I already prepared the RDWC setup with a 60 liters box (0,6 m x 0,4 m x 0,25 m) for 3 plants. The grow tent is 120x120 cm. The light will be a Sylvania 600w HPS powered by a Gib Ligthing LXG Timer 600w Electronic Ballast. Since it is dimmable I will start with 250w and increase in the first weeks until reaching 600w. The ballast has the Sunlight mode which increase the wattage of the lamp during the first hour and decrease during the last to simulate the sun cycle. DAY 5 (10/03/2020) Seedling are growing well. I started RDWC yesterday and put 25 liters of water with 15 ml of FloraCoco Grow, 15 ml of FloraMicro,15ml of FloraBloom. I also added 5 ml of Great White Mycorrhizae to strengthen roots. The water from my tap is 40 ppm , the water in the reservoir is 500 ppm. Increased power light to 350w. Temperature and Humidity when lights on: 23°C and 35%. Added a humidifier inside the room to increase humidity.

3.9.2024: Start of week 8. Day 50 from seed, 46 from sprout. Nothing doing today, plant is healthy and getting fatter by the day. Plucked a few leaves but thats it. 3.10.2024: Day 51. Fed 1/4 strength fox farm trio mixed w/ calmag into over a gal of 6.5ph water. Gave roughly 3 liters of the solution. Runoff ppm is finally under 1000. Might increase nutes to 1/2 strength moving forward. Bud development on the main cola is almost half the main stalk now. I'm no pro when it comes to taking pictures so its hard for me to get clear, detailed shots of the nugs. 3.11.2024: Day 52, 48 from sprout. Moving along nicely. 3.12.2024: Day 53. Fed 1/4 strength, roughly 96oz at 6.4ph. I broke the feed/water/feed schedule and fed twice in a row. Also did some lite defoliation on the bottom fan leaves that weren't getting light. 3.13.2024: Day 54 from seed. Plant is doing its thing. 3.14.2024: Day 55. Fed again at 1/4 strength, 96oz at 6.6ph. Runoff ppm was 880. 3.15.2024: Day 56 from seed, 52 from sprout.

10/22: wow… what a mess. I should have defoliated last week. They were incredibly overgrown and now i had to stress the hell out of them to get the tent cleared up for light. Hopefully the stress does not cause any issues. As if the defoliation was bot enough stress on them, my light height has reached its top, and PL1 had two colas starting that were already pressed into the light. And so i removed their tops a node or two down. Im sure this was as good as hitting the plant in the face with a brick. Hope she recovers! If youve been following along, you know i planted these with hopes for the extremely purple pheno. And i believe that if i had it, she would have started showing her colors by now. Looking forward to seeing what these turn into and if they make it without any issues after i kicked them around a bit.

After somehow managing to lose the individual photographs of our Queen for two consecutive weeks, I can finally confirm that Godfather OG Pheno A has officially returned to the photographic record. And because I felt slightly guilty about the previous weeks... I gave her TWO stacks. 😂👑📸📸 She deserved it. After all, she spent two weeks basically saying: "You keep talking about me, but where are my pictures?" 😂 Fair enough, Your Majesty. Here they are. And honestly... looking at these images, I'm very happy we made the effort. Because this girl is developing beautifully. She's still tall. She's still hungry. She's still demanding. She's still doing absolutely everything in her own way. But now we can actually look closely at what she's been building. So let's give the Queen the spotlight again. 👑🌿🔥 ──────────────────────── 🌱 WEEK 11 – THE QUEEN KEEPS MOVING ──────────────────────── Not much changed physically for the plants this week. And that's actually the point. The room is established. The plants have their structure. The flowering sites are developed. The environment is stable. The irrigation is running. The nutrition has been adjusted. The lighting has been upgraded. And now... we let them work. Godfather OG Pheno A is continuing to grow and develop in exactly the same room as everybody else. Same environment. Same general strategy. Same lighting system. Same irrigation. Same nutritional foundation. Different genetics. And once again, she's showing us her own interpretation of that environment. She's not trying to become Blueberry Muffin. She's not trying to become Cash Express. She's not trying to become Chem Brûlée. She's Godfather OG Pheno A. And she's doing it her way. 👑 ──────────────────────── 📸 THE QUEEN FINALLY GETS HER PORTRAIT SESSION ──────────────────────── Okay... I have to admit something. This week wasn't exactly a massive photography week. I didn't spend hours photographing every plant from every possible angle. But when I got to Godfather OG Pheno A... I looked at her and thought: "Nope. She deserves at least two stacks." 😂 So that's exactly what we did. Two stacks. And I'm really glad we did. Because macro photography gives us a completely different way of looking at the plant. Suddenly, the canopy becomes a landscape. The flowers become mountains. The trichomes become a forest of tiny structures. And those beautiful orange and white pistils weave their way through everything. Looking at these images, you can really see how much resin coverage she's building. The flowers are absolutely covered. The sugar leaves are coated. The surface of the buds is sparkling. And the more you look... the more there is to discover. 🔬🌸💎 ──────────────────────── 💎 A CLOSER LOOK AT HER RESIN ──────────────────────── This is probably the part of the photography that makes me stop every time. You take the image. Then you zoom in. Then you zoom in again. And suddenly... there are trichomes everywhere. 😂💎🌿 Godfather OG Pheno A is showing some beautiful resin development. The macro stacks reveal layers upon layers of trichomes sitting across the flower structure. Some areas look almost completely covered. Others show the green floral tissue underneath, surrounded by sparkling resin. And then you have those pistils running through everything, giving the flowers that beautiful contrast between green, white and orange. It's one of those moments where photography becomes more than simply documenting the plant. It becomes a way of seeing something that your eyes simply can't appreciate in the same way. The naked eye says: "That's a frosty flower." The macro stack says: "Look at ALL of this." 😂 🔬💎🌸 ──────────────────────── 👑 STILL THE SAME HUNGRY QUEEN ──────────────────────── And yes... before anyone thinks the Queen has suddenly become polite... No. 😂🍽️👑 She's still hungry. Godfather OG Pheno A continues to be one of the more demanding phenotypes in the room. That characteristic hasn't disappeared. If anything, it has become part of her identity throughout this run. She's a large plant. She's got a substantial structure. She's supporting a lot of foliage. She's developing flowers throughout that structure. And she's using the resources available to her. That's one of the things I find so fascinating about running multiple phenotypes together. We can give the room a consistent foundation... and then watch the plants tell us what they think about it. Some are quieter. Some are more compact. Some are more relaxed. And then there's Godfather OG Pheno A. 😂👑 "More, please." She hasn't changed her position on the matter. ──────────────────────── 🌿 SAME ROOM – DIFFERENT STORY ──────────────────────── This is really the heart of the 8×8 Adventure. Twelve plants. One room. One general environment. And twelve completely different conversations happening between the genetics and that environment. Godfather OG Pheno A is giving us one of the more obvious examples. She's tall. She's vigorous. She's hungry. She's substantial. She's built her own architecture. And now she's developing flowers across that architecture. The environment hasn't been specially designed for her. She's adapting to the same environment as everyone else. And that's exactly what makes the comparison interesting. We're not trying to force every plant into the same shape. We're observing. We're documenting. And we're allowing the genetics to speak. This Queen has certainly found her voice. 😂👑🌿 ──────────────────────── 💡 MORE PHOTONS – SAME QUEEN ──────────────────────── And of course... we have another major change to talk about this week. The room is now running with the two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures. When we first introduced them, the available light was more than we wanted to run at full output. So instead of simply throwing everything at the plants... we reduced the power. We're now running approximately 59% power from the plug. And we're seeing around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with the intensity naturally decreasing depending on plant height and position. And I really like this setup. Because we're not chasing maximum power. We're creating capability. We have more lighting available when we need it... without needing to run every fixture flat out. That means more flexibility. More control. And, importantly, no reason to waste electricity simply because the fixtures are capable of producing more. The Queen doesn't need us to turn the room into a miniature sun. 😂☀️👑 She just needs access to the photons she can actually use. ──────────────────────── ☀️ PHOTONS MEET PLANT ARCHITECTURE ──────────────────────── And this is where Godfather OG Pheno A becomes particularly interesting. She's around 169 cm tall. She's not a small, compact plant. She's a three-dimensional structure occupying a significant amount of vertical space. So when we talk about ~1,500 PPFD at the upper canopy, that's only part of the story. The light interacts with the entire structure. Leaves intercept photons. Some light passes through. Some reaches deeper. Some reflects. Some is absorbed lower in the canopy. And then we have the additional Lumiflora lighting helping reach areas that naturally receive less direct illumination. The plant isn't a flat surface. She's a living structure. A three-dimensional photon-catching machine. 😂💡🌿 And this Queen has plenty of surface area available for those photons to meet. ──────────────────────── 💡 FUTURE OF GROW – A BIG THANK YOU ──────────────────────── I also want to take a moment to give another big shoutout to Future of Grow. They supplied the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures for us to test in this adventure, and they've made a very interesting difference to the lighting capacity of the room. The beauty of having more available power isn't necessarily running everything at maximum. It's having headroom. It's having options. It's being able to distribute light across the room while controlling the actual output we're using. And right now... ~59% from the plug is giving us the ability to work around that ~1,500 PPFD upper-canopy target. That's a pretty impressive amount of light without needing to push the fixtures anywhere near their maximum. So thank you, Future of Grow, for giving us the opportunity to put these fixtures through their paces. 💚💡☀️ ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FLOWERS ARE SPEAKING FOR THEMSELVES ──────────────────────── And now that we actually have photographs again... I think the flowers deserve a little attention. 😂📸 The macro stacks show a plant that is clearly well into her flowering development. The floral structures are established. The pistils are developing beautifully. The resin coverage is becoming increasingly obvious. And there's that wonderful mixture of green flower tissue, white trichomes and orange pistils that makes every macro image look completely different from the one before it. This is the stage where I really enjoy documenting the plants. Because the changes aren't always dramatic from one day to the next. But put photographs from different weeks beside each other... and suddenly you can see the story. The plant has changed. The flowers have changed. The resin has changed. The structure has changed. And all those small changes add up. 🌸💎🌿 ──────────────────────── 🌿 LITTLE INTERVENTION – LOTS OF OBSERVATION ──────────────────────── Just like with the other girls... we didn't do much physically this week. And that's intentional. The major structural work has already happened. The plants are flowering. Healthy leaves are still doing their job. The flowers are developing. The root zones are being supplied. The environment is stable. So there isn't much reason for me to walk in there every day looking for something to cut. 😂✂️ Sometimes the best thing a grower can do is... nothing. Watch. Observe. Measure. Adjust when necessary. And let the plant actually grow. Godfather OG Pheno A certainly isn't asking me to interfere. She's busy enough doing her own thing. 😂👑 ──────────────────────── ⚗️ FEEDING – THE MENU HAS BEEN INCREASED ──────────────────────── This week we also increased the nutrition slightly, just like with the rest of the room. This week went fairly well, but I became concerned with some leaves appearing crispyfried along the edges and some looking deficient. I finally started cutting my girls and I have to say, I felt ashamed at wounding my babes but hopefully it'll go the right way, guess we'll see!!! I also flushed my plants with ph Balanced water this week and going to only provide this to water/feed them for another few days for fear of nutrient burn and simply following the feed schedule for my nutrients. Also, I took some pics for the Christmas contest for Crop King Seeds lol hope you like them more than my Paw did! Plants look great after a day of plain H2O. 12/14 Plant one having a small bit of leaf burn on widest leaves and a weird dying on lower leaf. They looked bad under light so I pruned em. Turned up humidifier to 65% been running low. 12/15 Topped Plant 2 Rinsed all w/PH Balanced H2O. Nervous I took too much from #2 But my thinking was I went easy on 1 yesterday so go aggressive on 2 to view effects. 12/16 Trimmed 2 crispy leaves off Plant 1 used Bonsai paste to cover wounds, Plant 2 stem looks narrow@ base wider up top. Trimmed 2 sucker leaves (1st leaves) from Plant 4 Rinsed all w/ PH Balanced H2O Thats it! Thanks yall, see ya next week!

Twelfth week and now this is the end. I decided to harvest these days because two weeks have passed since I have increased the amount of water and because the peaks now seem to be in a very good development point. The plant is really spectacular. The flowers are very compact and voluminous, they give off a really intense, citrusy and orange scent. The two main buds are completely equal and measure entirely 50cm. All the rest of the buds have not developed badly either. The amount of pollen is moderately high and you can notice very well a compact layer on all the flowers. As I said I watered the plant with just water all week, increasing the dose more and more to wash the roots completely and be able to harvest the plant. I cut everything and hung it all up in a cabinet where I control the humidity and temperature values and try to keep them stable through an air recirculation system. I hope to have everything almost dry and ready within 10 days to be able to participate in the competition. I really thank Zamnesia very much for the opportunity it has given me and for this wonderful genetics that has made me known. I am very excited about what I have achieved from this growth and what I have learned in all this time. All I need now is to try this wonder!

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

OK this was my 1st grow and I set everything up went through all my controls and away to go ... wrong after pre flower came I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting these ladies to flip.... So I went through everything with runoff feeds Everything you can think of except my timers on the lights and this low and behold was the problem!! where I was going to the tent at similar times everyday the light was on and the timers were set right on the clock except I didn't see the switch on the side that makes the timer work continuously or to how the clock is set....🙈😔 Found this and away to go my ladies had some well needed sleep and away to go they flipped By now these had all bushed right out but were getting no tricomes I now had a hell of a load of feeds and kept up the way I was feeding Water Water Feed and all 4 plants in my tent were all heading for the finish line at the same time.... And now I've cut the Northern and the jack down and from my northern lights I had 200g dry weight I didn't do a wet weight it was too hard to do in the space I had (too many colas and massive nugs along with the stragglers that were lost in amongst it all ) She was really resilient and to have come through all those weeks of no rest and only light for 24hrs continuously I'm surprised that I've got this far Flavours and smells are great and the smoke isn't the strongest but when cure now I will see how this little lady comes on I'm happy for my 1st and have learned so much throughout this journey I will update with more but the next diary will be of the other lady in the tent and will give a more detailed explanation of the full journey but as far as crop goes she gave and gave and gave that little more !! Thanks all for following and I hope my next write up will be all the more detailed for u 😀 As she drys mire and more and I've got the exact weight down her figures are not really changing as I've dried her down as much as I want to ....even if this was something that I wanted to keep as a heavier product weather it was for keeping for myself which is what I will be doing rather than to try to get extra weight if I was doing this grow for resale, but this was never the case it was always a grow I've done to help lower my own smoking costs for my own gain and not resale... So again very happy as these final weights are getting revised there will be more to add to the weight with 1 more plant on the harvest but almost double if not more than doubling what I have already put on but I will change my numbers to 2 lots p .tent and an extremely challenging massive yield OMG 😲 she has yes given given and given more beyond more !!!!
