Good ol indica. She creeps slow but next thing you know your munching out on the couch doing the brain dance as I call it. which is exactly what I’m looking for when I grew this strain. Very medicinal for sleep and any type of body pain. It’s curing into very deep diesel smell. Looks very bright green under light. Overall the strain produced some quality bud.

Reviews. Nutrient
The starter kit I bought “recipie for success” barely had enough nutes to get me through four plants that were 105 days old with 6 gallon pots. Although that’s a negative the overall product it produces is awesome. I really couldn’t of asked for better quality weed for my first grow. I didn’t see any signs of giving my plants too much so next grow I will likely push the limit and give them a little more then recommended. Overall very happy with and I will try it for one more grow.

Day 105! Day 54 of flowering. Master kush strain. First grow. First off I’d like to thank Grow Diaries for making this super easy for my first grow. Couldn’t of done it with out the people and information on this website. Really awesome. For harvest week I simply put my scrog up higher and hung the bud for 6 days at 20 degrees and 55% humidity then burped the jars over the last week giving me a stable 63% humidity in my jars. Over very happy with the quality. For 105 days I with is produced a little more but I’d take quality over quantity any day. This strain is very resistant when it comes to everything. It responded well all types of training and didn’t show signs of too much nutrients so it’s definitely a heavy feeder. Very dense tight mode spacing. Short plant that hardly stretches when flower is initiated so it works really well for people with limited space. As for the buds nothing wild or crazy looking in color or shapes. just solid looking green bud loaded with trichomes and super fat. They have a diesel earthy smell that’s very strong when you cure the plant. the smell is tolerable when the bud is on the plant not overly stinky... maybe the smell is just burned into my nostrils at this point lol. I Would recommend growing this strain. Smokes nice smells nice and gets you wrecked 😎 That’s it y’all thanks for tuning in. I hope this diary Can help a few fellow growers in the future. Cheers.

When do you guys top your plants?

This is a widely debated topic and basically will all come down to preference. I usually wait till about the 5th node , this will ensure that your tap root is long enough . Once you top your plant the tap roots development slows right down and take quite some time to get going again if at all . You can top before if you want but I recommend the 5th node . With happy and healthy plants they spring right back into action within a few days . I hope this information helps you on your path to becoming a master grower ! -Happy Growing!

I’m looking to get max PAR value(950) on my plants during flowering. My lights came with a grid that isn’t super specific. Question what are some very first signs of too much light for your plants And should I keep pushing the limit inch by inch to try and achieve maximum light?

Great some one else is using a PAR meter. The first sign of the lights being too intense is a bit of canoeing or upturned leaf blades or tips curling up ,slightly folding leaf blades signalling light stress. You may also notice some discoloration or yellowing paling of the leaves closest too the lights if she's blooming watch out for the white pistils browning prematurely. Each strain can differ in terms of how much light intensity it can handle. So since your growing photo periods running your lights 12 hrs a day in bloom you can run them at a fairly high intensity level compared to running them 18-20 hrs while in veg. You need to use a DLI ( Daily Light Intensity) calculator. https://www.waveformlighting.com/horticulture/daily-light-integral-dli-calculator This will help you calculate how much light your plants are receiving daily in Moles per day. https://www.progrowtech.com/2019/05/what-is-daily-light-integral-and-how-does-it-affect-your-crop/ From my understanding your goal is to get into the 39 moles per day range by mid bloom when buds require the highest light intensity. Then as things progress through late bloom ripening stage start decreasing the intensity. I'm currently using the same technique but i'm growing autos running my lights 20 hrs a day. My top Par reading during mid bloom will be in the 650-750 range. If I go higher I will have leaf burn for sure. Since you are running 12 hrs a day you should be able to run your a bit higher using the DLI calculator to estimate how high you need to go. I'm not going to lie so increase the Par gradually a 100-150 umoles until your comfortable with the distance. At 12 hrs a day running 1000 umoles your DLI is 43.20 so your in a good place. if you see signs of stress drop it down to 850-900 it will put you in the 39 DLI range. Hope this helps you need to do bit of experimenting there no way around it.👍

How do you guys check your trichomes? What % of amber do you have? Do check for milky/amber on the leaves or the bud itself? I have a microscope but it’s very hard to use unless I trim a little piece of bud or leaf off and inspect it on a table with my microscope.

Shoot for a 5 to 20% amber the rest milky white depends on how you like your high. Always inspect buds themselves ignore the leaves. There is nothing wrong with cutting a little piece to get a better view will not hurt plant one bit.

@SirDillton, I hear you I'm just using a cheap Hydro Farm Par meter it gets the job done but I've already had to do some repairs on it like solder a wire back in place on the sensor going to the cord and the battery won't hold a charge so I use a portable re-chargeable cell phone type battery. https://www.apogeeinstruments.com/full-spectrum-quantum-sensor/ This is one of the best ones it's not cheap but it's on my buy list in the future.
SirDillton
SirDilltoncommented5 years ago
Thanks for the follow and the answer! I have never heard of such calculator but I am really interested in looking further into it. I know I’d solve a lot of my problems with a PAR meter but here not cheap as you probably know lol. I’m gonna give you a follow back looks like you got some nice stuff on the go! @Philindicus,

Hi SirDilton, you have an awesome diary here very rich in the information evolution of the plants. By the way they look awesome! I plan on the future to maintain a setup similar to yours but for now I'm making some expiriences, check out my diary =). Regarding the mini dehumidifier, I've been looking for that exact model to my grow but have some doubts still... does it work well for your tent? Empty the reservoir 1 time a day is enough? Keep up the nice work!

SirDilltoncommented5 years ago
Thanks man! I appreciate it lots of hard work was put into these babies lol. I’ll give your diary a look forsure. Send me a chat with any more questions I’ll be happy to answer. As for the dehumidifier do not buy the small one. Check out my week 9 of my cookies kush grow and you can see a video of my setup! @gr33ncore,
