Week 3: Vegetative Growth and Care
Welcome to the fourth weekly update of our cannabis cultivation journey in Germany! As we move into the third week of vegetative growth, our strains—Pulp Friction, Cookies Haze, Eleven Roses, Poddy Mouth, Critical Lemon Kush, and OG Kush—continue to thrive.
This week, we’ve focused on maintaining optimal growing conditions and further refining our Low-Stress Training (LST) techniques.
Key Developments:
1. Enhanced Vegetative Growth:
- The plants are showing significant growth, with lush, green foliage and strong stems.
- The 18-hour light and 6-hour dark cycle continues to support their healthy development.
2. Continued Low-Stress Training (LST):
- We have adjusted the LST ties to guide the plants’ growth, ensuring an even canopy and maximizing light exposure.
- The plants are responding well to LST, with multiple branches growing vigorously.
Steps Taken:
1. Monitoring:
- Maintained temperature around 24-28 degrees Celsius and humidity between 50-60 percent.
- Kept the soil consistently moist, watering when the top inch of soil felt dry.
2. Nutrient Management:
- Continued with a balanced nutrient solution to support vegetative growth.
- Monitored the plants for any signs of nutrient deficiencies or excesses and adjusted the feeding schedule as needed.
3. Adjusting LST:
- Gently repositioned the LST ties to ensure all parts of the plants receive adequate light.
- Avoided over-stressing the plants by making gradual adjustments.
4. Pest and Disease Prevention:
- Regularly inspected the plants for any signs of pests or diseases.
- Maintained a clean growing environment to minimize risks.

- Prepare for the transition to the flowering stage, which will begin soon.
- Continue to monitor and adjust the environmental conditions and nutrient regimen to support healthy growth.

I'm back! I'm sorry for taking such a long break. It wasn't planned! We had to buy weed off the street, just like old times! What a shame.
We have moved and I finally have room for a new tent, this time for 3 plants! Plus matching lights. Unfortunately the exhaust is still missing, but nothing smells at the moment. So I'm waiting for the next pay cheque for that.

This is my first grow using only Bio Tabs fertiliser. I've been wanting to try their range for a long time because I'm convinced it's best to use as little liquid fertiliser as possible - most of it is water and that means more weight, more transport costs and more packaging. I really liked the fact that Mycotrex is a granulate and doesn't create as much dust as other organic stimulants.
As a substrate I tried the T.A. light mix - you can see a little video of it in my pictures above. I wanted an organic light mix without the peat - I know peat is great to work with, but it's also really bad for the environment, so I'd encourage everyone to try peatless mixes!
Everything is now moving into the next phase, and if the plan works, there will be no work for me after next week - apart from watering. I'm so excited!

Moin ihr growmies😇 ich Weiss gar nicht was ich großartig erzählen soll, die Ladys laufen meines Erachtens nach wunderbar. Die 4. Vegi Woche ist rum und ich muss sagen alles ist entspannt zurück lehnen und genießen....
Die Ladys trinken mittlerweile 1liter Wasser in 3 Tagen, das Wasser ist nicht Ph angepasst ist aber immer mindestens 24 Std abgestanden damit das chlor aus dünsten kann. Habe den Wert aber trotzdem mal überprüft liegt genau bei 7,5 und hat eine gieß Temperatur von 22 Grad.
Am Montag 30.01.23 habe ich mich dazu entschieden die ersten 3 Damen zu toppen, vorne links, hinten links und hinten rechts sind getoppt, vorne rechts kommt dann nächste Woche dran da sie ja 7 Tage jünger ist als die anderen 3 und somit auch noch nicht die Bio Masse hat um beschnitten zu werden das wars für diese Woche auch schon....
wie gesagt zurücklehnen,entspannen und den Grow genießen, mehr mach ich eigendlich nicht. Ach ja und natürlich täglich den Lampen Abstand kontrollieren und ggf. Nach justieren
Euch allen einen wunderschönen Grow, mit Schnee behaftet, und der Potenz einen Ochsen auf die Couch zu klatschen 😁😂😁

Seems I told a lie last week, I'm late one day and I've done videos again cos again 🤥
Its been a good week for bud production regardless of a hiccup this week which shows as cal/mag and nitrogen deficiencies throughout each plant🤒
My ph pen malfunctioned and I ended up feeding them all 4.5 and didn't notice till the leaves told me 🍂
The ph pen has been replaced, amendments made to buffer the root zone and fingers are crossed 💉🤞
Super stinky grow this, going to replace my carbon filter before starting a new one because I caught wiffs of them when I entered my home today. If the flavours match the smells in this tent I'm in for a treat come smoke time.👃⛽🍋🍇
Its that magic time in the tent now where each girls really showing their own characteristics, both the purple punches and the zkittlez are different phenos to their siblings so I'm excited to see what they finish up like🏁

I gave her for the last 1.5 week's, day 6.0 ph 1.5 water💦and day after 1.0 of Nutrients💪🏽,i keep it like that for the balance of the nutrients💪🏾 and for give her maximum power growing and clean Roots.
I also cut✂️ her a little bit to give the main flowers☘️ more power and light💡, i pot another light of 100w 6000K on the 200w 3500K that i have,
hope it will do the job more effective.
If someone have any advices i love to hear more from you guys, every advise i will be glad to hear 👍🏽👍🏽

Awwww mannnn. She's getting pretty huge. I flipped to 12/12 on May 8th. Now we wait to see how much she stretches and for buds to start forming. So excited!!!

Diese Woche wurde low stress Training bei der runtz gemacht. Die Purple Punch hat Probleme im Wachstum, leider kann ich mir das nicht erklären.
Die Runtz bekommt schon erste anzeichen einer mangelversorgung da sie bereits buds produziert und die anderen pflanzen noch nicht, wahrscheinlich stress bedingt..
Ja sonst bleibt nicht viel zu sagen, ich habe meine probleme mit der Luftfeuchtigkeit in den Griff bekommen und habe derzeit nurnoch probleme mit der Temperatur Nachts. Nächste woche werde ich den lichtzyklus wahrscheinlich auf 12-12 stellen und damit die Veg. Phase beenden und in Flower gehen.

when the thrips first showed themselves.
I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains.
2nd topping.
killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice

Ok, so this week I did the initial flush and from now on going to be only giving her plain water. The plant has gotten a bit more swollen with a bunch more trichomes than it had before everything is still looking pretty nice to me no problems that I can see but this ain't the end yet so we will see how this next week goes over pce✌️

Scheinen gut auf Kurs zu sein, VEG Phase lief top auch wenn ich bei zwei Pflanzen reingeschissen habe aber man lernt…
Bin gespannt wann die fertig gewesen da die bisher ziemlich zügig unterwegs waren.

The flowers are starting show a build up of crystals, I’m shocked at the speed this plant is producing flowers.
They are filling up fast from the top down, as you can see still some time to go before all the main flowers are fully developed.
The leaves show signs of heat damage and over watering but that’s ok.
The heatwave has passed but it’s still on the warmer side.
The cutting is flowering normally and is receiving light directly so hopefully it will produce a small flower or 2.

DAY 1
Tri’s on several buds checked.
(Dont have proper microscope to transfer images to phone with, yet)
Top buds all milky with a couple amber, lower buds milky with significantly more amber spread, for some reason.
Given my schedule i Will harvest her Tomorrow just before lights on, with green light,
Last defol done before lights out today,
lights been taken down,
plant base zip tied with coat hanger,
Tent prepared for drying
Now its just cut her down.
Going to be awkward handling her alone though, she’s kind of Big and wide 😅

Sample jarred to measure moisture content.
Sample ended up at 72% after 5 hrs. A bit of hay smell to. Smelled awesome when put in, so i do hope the sample returns to that State 😅
But I am prepared to throw it away of anything funny shows up.
Conclusion: too Early.
But weather outside is warm and humid my ac and Dehu are struggling to keep things down.
Day 9
Tried to jar sample from Yesterday sat 60%
Decides to trim and jar the rest.
1 jar at 60%
1 jar at 62%
What an adventure.
Will be looking forward to light it up in 4-8 weeks
