Week 3: Vegetative Growth and Care
Welcome to the fourth weekly update of our cannabis cultivation journey in Germany! As we move into the third week of vegetative growth, our strains—Pulp Friction, Cookies Haze, Eleven Roses, Poddy Mouth, Critical Lemon Kush, and OG Kush—continue to thrive.
This week, we’ve focused on maintaining optimal growing conditions and further refining our Low-Stress Training (LST) techniques.
Key Developments:
1. Enhanced Vegetative Growth:
- The plants are showing significant growth, with lush, green foliage and strong stems.
- The 18-hour light and 6-hour dark cycle continues to support their healthy development.
2. Continued Low-Stress Training (LST):
- We have adjusted the LST ties to guide the plants’ growth, ensuring an even canopy and maximizing light exposure.
- The plants are responding well to LST, with multiple branches growing vigorously.
Steps Taken:
1. Monitoring:
- Maintained temperature around 24-28 degrees Celsius and humidity between 50-60 percent.
- Kept the soil consistently moist, watering when the top inch of soil felt dry.
2. Nutrient Management:
- Continued with a balanced nutrient solution to support vegetative growth.
- Monitored the plants for any signs of nutrient deficiencies or excesses and adjusted the feeding schedule as needed.
3. Adjusting LST:
- Gently repositioned the LST ties to ensure all parts of the plants receive adequate light.
- Avoided over-stressing the plants by making gradual adjustments.
4. Pest and Disease Prevention:
- Regularly inspected the plants for any signs of pests or diseases.
- Maintained a clean growing environment to minimize risks.

- Prepare for the transition to the flowering stage, which will begin soon.
- Continue to monitor and adjust the environmental conditions and nutrient regimen to support healthy growth.

2/8 They're just exploding now full flowering.
They smell amazing. Just a quick few I took while just tucking them in for the night....
Will get some more pics tomorrow as it water and molasses day. Still no nutrients or additives. 100% organic

The smell coming off them now is really sweet smelling and rather strong.
11/8 End of week 6 and they are filling out nicely now and smelling like candy.

Coming along well, Day 43 Flower, I've dimmed the lights 10% using a Kill*A*Watt meter. Nutrient wise I've changed it up for the final stretch,
to the gallon of 180ppm city tap water, I've reduced Maxibloom to 1/2 teaspoon, I've began adding 1/4 teaspoon KoolBloom powder and 2-3 teaspoons of Diamond Nectar Humic Acids. I don't need to add ph up or down as this mixture puts my ph @ 6.3, EC is currently 1.7. each plant receives a minimum of 1 gallon per day, more often they receive a gallon and a quarter or half, applied with a garden sprayer a quart or 1/2 gallon at a time throughout the day, usually about every 3 hours. I keep about an inch of water in the trays below the plants, roots have penetrated the bottoms of the pots and are in the nutrient solution below-I drain this off completely every 2-3 days to keep it fresh-I've followed this routine many times before with no ill effect, as a matter of fact the plants seem to thrive even more-so I stopped fighting it.

This week, I started defoliation and tying down. So far, no signs of pistils. The smell is beginning to emit. PPM remains at 1000, and the pH is 5.8.
While waiting for the harvest, I'm enjoying the last Rosin I made.

Blütewoche 7: Nachdem ich den Großteil meiner Frustration über den Fehlschlag verarbeitet hatte, entschied ich mich dazu den Plan doch nochmal zu überdenken und separierte die gezwitterte Übeltäterin ins leere Nebenzelt um diese schonmal auf die letzte Reise zu schicken.
Wie man auf den Bildern erkennen kann kontrollierte ich die Pflanzen an Tag 100 noch einmal genaustens auf Pollensäcke. Diese ließen auch nicht all zu lange auf sich warten und es waren doch mehr als gedacht.
Aber als ich mir die Terpene anschaute und feststellte, dass der Großteil schon milchig ist und die Pflanze im Vergleich zur ChocolateHaze beispielsweise von Samen wirklich verschont ausschaut, stellte ich mir folgende Frage.. Ist es unter diesen Umständen nicht sinnvoller , die Pflanze zu nehmen wie sie ist und dafür das Risiko zu minimiere nur noch mehr Samen zu züchten?
Natürlich würde ich sie lieber noch 2 Wochen in Blüte lassen, aber wer weiß wie viel Müsli in 2 Wochen nachkommen können.. Ich will es nicht herausfinden 😒😅
Also bereitete ich einen letztzen Trank zu, welcher der Pflanze für die kommenden Tage etwas " beruhigen " sollte.

So i both some Autopots and decided to give them a try with autoflowers, this will be my second time ever growing autos and i decided to go with 4 different ones from 4 different seed banks.
For now i have 3 seeds that pop out and one that didn't so i pop another from the same and again, have a third one as we speak popping , lets hope this time she does other way that seedbank becomes a no go for me.
For food i will be giving them Aptus Holland with for me is the my recipe for a way easier grow knowing i dont have to worry on that department . I will be explaining me feedings and how i do them as i post and evolve along time 💚🙏 so lets have some fun and try out this Auto everything world lol

Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

All topped for a second time. Light change here in the UK after summer solstice so should kick into flowering in the next few weeks!

Day 42 Flowering and the frosty monster has paid a visit. The glistening of the trichromes when the light hits them right.
The Red hot cookie looks so good bud wise and I am gutted to not have a full version to sample. The same with the sweet Afghani Delicious too. They should offer a few joints but that will be about their total.
Amnesia Haze is absolutely stomping it now..
Her bud growth has been excellent this week and they started their swelling a few days ago.
The Los at 60Lstruggled to keep the. fed so I have also introduced the shogun sumo boost and pk warrior 9/18. She has now got a lot of frost on her mains and sugar leaves but is till producing fresh happy white pistils daily. She has at least 2 weeks left tobswrll before the ripening starts. Her buds are rock solid to touch and give off a fruity/diesel terpene smell.
seeing her many mains and the beautiful buds she is producing now is a welcome site. She has spread out excellent for the lights footprint and seeing all those side branches become such full mains is a relief. I love this strain to grow so far . Seeing how well she stacks up for long colas is an inspiration for future grows and certainly a new growers dream 1st grow.
She is an hungry lady and easily takes the full 8L of feed every other day with just a touch of run off. I plan to do a controlled drought for approx 8/9 days at day 49 amd then a last feed before harvest following. There is a lot of study results to suggest this increases thc content and oils similar to stem splitting and other methods , so I thought I would give this a go too. Lets see how it works....

Week 3 - Day 2:
Id say she's about done stretching I'll see in the next few days, I can tell the plant is diverting more energy to creating bud sites. I absolutely cannot wait these buds are gonna be sum chunkers. Very tight internodal spacing which I like I am not too worried about budrot, since I can keep humidity fairly low and plenty of air flow.
My only issue is it's getting so big that my light isn't touching to the bottom of the canopy haha. I defoliated pretty heavily (no more than 30% on day 1 of week 3) I am thinking of letting it bounce back then I'm going to do one more strip of the bottom leaves and bud sites. I noticed I missed a few. But I'm gonna strip the bottom 1/3 bc no way my light will reach there. So far very happy!
Day 3:
Looking so good, I stripped the bottom 1/3 of the plant removed 99% of the fan leaves and smalls/larf down there. Going to be the last time I do so, I am a tad bit worried as I just stripped a good bit of leaves 3 days ago, but I felt it wasn't enough and had to go back in on it before it got to into mid flower. Fingers crossed 🤞 hoping for the best.
So far I'm so happy with this grow, definently my best yet!
Day 6 :
Looking so freaking nice. Already getting Frost on some of the sugar leaves here on week 3. I have a feeling it's gonna be a frost monster. Hopefully a great washer 🙏
The top nugs are looking more "tight and dense" I'm thinking because it's a bit intense close to the light. I'm gonna lower maybe another inch or 2 see what it does. The buds lower have long luscious healthy hairs still a tight structure but already looking very beautiful.

Anche questa strawberry 🍓 gorilla 🦍 è alla 5 settimana.ancora un paio di settimane e sarà cotta a puntino. Deliziosa.....ancora poco per la maturazione completa

It's fattening and ot seems that the bugs are not around anymore but it's just an illusion as a low population in still a population so I'm still at war.
Thanks for your inputs , it's when you are in trouble that you're realising that you've got a whole community here for you 😘🤘👌🙌
Observations : Burning tips of the leaves due to an over feeding // Lower leaves that are fading and falling due to the age // Old signs of PH fluctuation
As my last runoff check was a while ago I'm about to check these values today 👍🤘

The small Grapefruits, the one with the 420 pin , is doing so so . Two of the main buds have some bud rot due to the high humidity of the 2 last days ... high humidity due to the fact that I am working without air extractor and box half open but I've closed my box for less than. 48h and when zinc opened it the wall were full of water drops ( more than drops )
To help with that issue I've done a defoliation to have a better air circulation around the buds even if it's not recommended to do it that far in flowering. I've also observed the trichomes and they are mostly cloudy with a few brown and like 40% of clear trichs : surprising as the looks like she may need 1 extra week or 2 before cutting

Nothing special is happening, it's been 4 days since the last update, I was a little late last time, so here I am so I won't be late again.
Tomorrow is the end of the tenth week for the plants, this morning I fed them, before that I gave them only water for 2 waterings, that is, they were in water for a whole week.
It's hot right now and I'm watering them every 3 days, this morning they each got 30+ liters, anyway, except for the ones in smaller pots, they got a lot less.

Starting to ramp down the feed now. Girls still seem to be ticking along nicely and just continuing to monitor daily. Water has stayed more stable (pH Wise) with less of the PK Warrior so believe the pH drops was probably root acidification from Potassium Excess. Staying Stable enough around 5.8-6.2 with basic, usual intervention. Will be keeping it around this for the week and then onto the Dragon Force Next week and the 10K finisher bulb for the last 2 week!
