Week 9. I start to notice a sweet lemon smell and the buds begin to show brown pistils. I think in 2–3 weeks she should be ready for harvest. And honestly, I'm really impressed by the canopy so far — I love opening the tent every time. She is also coming to the end of her life cycle and starts drawing nutrients from older leaves. She might get one more round of organic bloom fertilizer. Can't wait to chop and taste her.

Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Day 141 - Made the decision I am going to chop Sunday morning, and giving 24 hours of darkness before. The net was cut out of the plant, and the light removed from the tent. I wanted to wait a bit longer, but there were bright yellow tipped sugar leaves trying to poke out of the buds, so I figure it was time. She was set to be watered Saturday, but that will be foregone and chopped Sunday morning. The tent is going to double as the drying chamber.

Week 6 already! The buds are getting more and more tricomes and slowly getting fatter, we also gave some PK but i think it was a little too much combined with the palm tree ashes in the soil, but nothing to worry about, we wil lower the dosis and start the flush next week 😁👌

Estoy añadiendo las dos semanas aquí ya que no ha cambiado casi nada , hemos hecho un riego de base de floración a 2ml por litro ! La verdad que estamos muy contentos con los avances sobretodo de la runtz , su olor es espectacular comparadas a las otras y mira que es la más pequeña ! Sinceramente tal y como avanzan en la floración os recomiendo estas pedazo de semillas

Wow these girls really filled in this week! Only 5" of vertical growth but the girls are noticably wider and looking more full. Also looking quite healthy with a nice green colour, save for a handful of leaves at the very bottom but that's not uncommon. Still blown away by the amount of roots that have grown out of the base of the fabric pots! Vary thick and tough feeling, but white and healthy looking as ever! Bud sites really starting to come in as we end the week, looks like these girls could have great potential if everything keeps running smooth (knock on wood). Environment has been on point since uprages last week, fans running mostly at a steady 40% with the occasional spike to 60% and keeping the RH within 2% of target. Light is still at 80% and 18" hitting 650-750 umol/s

This week was really great except for some weather problem, cold is came a little bit earlier and i m still fixing something in the grow box. Roots are really large and strenght. Flowering started exactly in the 28 day. Let's go!

Mint Runtz automatic is doing good. She is growing fast. She should be going into flowering this next week I don't see any pistils yet. Hopefully a good stretch is to come. Blue Dream Auto grew okay. She didn't get as big as I expected, but I was not able to keep grow temp up due to the winter. She is loaded in trichromes and has a berry, woody, citrus aroma. I am gonna cut her today and get back with a smoke report soon. Dropped the 3 seeds in water bath with a little HESI rooting mix, little mycorrhizae. On a heat mat, covered for complete darkness. 24 Hr soak - then seeds moved into own Seed Germinator - Karl’s Bubatz Popper 😂 24 hrs after 22 degrees and 90-95% humidity seeds developed long enough roots to hit the soil. To avoid any chance of damage the cotton pads hit the soil too.

Pics taken right before chop, currently hanging for the next 8-12 days and then a cure for a good few weeks. Pictures speak for themselves, I had high temps, supercropped the help out of them and yet are still the nicest looking bud I have ever grown since I started in 2003. Can’t wait to test how they smoke. I have two phenos but off to buy some more to do a more in depth pheno hunt.
