Day 55

Started the girls with some LST to see how they all coped and they bounced back well.

I was still dealing with lockout problems until the end of this week. I flushed everything with pH'ed water and after that, gave her 3L of 1ml/L nutrient solution to compensate the loss. We went from 5.9 to 6.3 soil pH and as you can see in the pictures, it stabilized. I am now very cautious of when and how I water and feed. I built some legs from ABS tubing for the elevated tray that helps when I want to empty the saucer. The light is at 70cm, 80% power for 650PPFD. I might invest in a CO2 reader to know if I could give her more. I have to adjust the power and distance of the light to get the adequate room temperature. I'm aiming for the highest difference between day and night. 2 more weeks of veg and depending on the size, I'll decide to switch or not.

09/26/2021 Starting week #7 of flower still picking caterpillar, and eggs of leaves, not to serious as we are on top of it. Starting the week with banana peel tea drench 2 gallons per girl, which is all she will get besides water till harvest. Still small flushes of pistils coming out I believe she (Hulk) is in final stage of flower (4) lots of orange hairs (pistils) but fresh one coming out daily albeit slower. Hopefully she fatting up in coming weeks. 09/28/2021 Week7 Day #3 Definitely seeing more calyx swelling. #1 is chunking up nicely #2 looks good little bud rot were caused from cattipillar poop! #3 coming from behind Will be last to harvest for sure.

I am feeding with tps one and CalMag oac one time, then it’s back to regular tap water (well water) that comes at 8.5 pH with 156ppm of tds. The feed was approx a pH of 6.5. More importantly is the consistent soil pH which appears fixed at 6.8 I know it’s lazy! However…. I have noticed doing this to reveal to me that the soil pH is very stubborn and not easily changed by the pH of the water alone. Stuff in the water can definitely have an impact. But still, most feed waters I use don’t change the soil ph. I do make sure the pH is within a healthy range for soil, something between 6 and 7 I figure is ideal. I’ve found if there is enough lime in the mix, and as long as I don’t over feed soluble nutes, then the soil pH appears stable and fixed. With enough lime in the mix, I can ultimately arrest the soil pH at 7. It’s really cool. I thought adding too much lime would give me something potentially alkaline, and maybe it will. But I’ve added lots of lime before and still haven’t gotten past 7 pH. Maybe I didn’t add enough to go further? Nevertheless I’m not interested in going past 7. I haven’t seen any issues with the speed of growth watering with 8.5 tap water, surprisingly. As I’ve said the soil pH would read 6.8 before and immediately after watering with the 8.5 tap. So….. I’m thinking the stability of the soil pH is a positive indication that the microbes are not being subjected to pH shifts, or at least nothing substantial. I mean, at the end of the day when things are looking good, I feel like I must have something right.

Buenas! Ultimas semanas, ya pasamos al overdrive y tratare de ir bajando la fertilizacion de a poco. Se ve el engorde, se ve el aumento de resina y el olor va cambiando un poco con respecto a semanas anteriores. Vamos a tratar de mantener temp baja y humedad controlada ( 24° C y 60-65 HR) pero no es tan facil, se acerca el verano y sin aire acondicionado todo el dia encendido es complicadisimo. Pero yo soy casero, hacemos lo que podemos con lo que tenemos. Disfruten de las toronjaz como yo lo hago, deleitense

Digital ballast broke while I was checking them, luckily I had a old magnetic ballast to replace it with. Did a little defoliation and tied a few branches in better positions, one plant in particular is huge compared to the others but did a good job of making sure it doesn’t overshadow the others. All going pretty well

Mismos riegos que la semana anterior de acuerdo a la tabla de advanced nutrients. Las 4 nenas que están en floración(maceteros de 11lt) beben mucha agua, 8lt cada dos días y reciben un riego a la semana con nutrientes, el resto de riegos sólo con agua. Mientras que las otras 2 que siguen en vegetación (maceteros de 30lt) están bebiendo 9lt cada tres días, también con sólo un riego con nutrientes por semana. Saludos! Just started them all on the Green Buzz Liquid Organics and will run it the rest of the way. I'm not going to add much to the line just some calmag, enzymes maybe terpinator I have to experiment with it a little bit. The first feed went extremely well the plants instantly reacted within an hour after the feed especially the next day. The additives in this line barely raised PPM at all which I liked. It also doesnt stink like other liquid organics I've used. These are doing good the big one seems to be flowering faster than the first run from seed with this cut. The second one is still completely untrained and the 3rd one is the weakling. Day 21 of bloom. Added in a shot of the feed chart I'm using from G Buzz, white board is where I record the run off values especially during the flush👍

The plants bounced back after the defoliation and a watering with Squid concentrate and some water that had banana peels soaked in it for a few days. I just got the Fox Farms trio of nutes and will introduce those on the next watering.....probably tomorrow. Now, to search for what the light patches on the leaves are. Hmmmm?

This week i found what i thought was mold. After askin around they are now sayin mealybugs. I took the plant out of tent and will now be kept indoors to flip for now. I chopped off most of her bottom that had white and sprayed neem oil last nite. Today i bought take down garden spray. Also i gotta check other plants well

Made hydroponics system myself. Very easy. I should have fed them with voodoo juice if They were in plastic cups. It took the roots so long to grow in regular soil.
