What makes an outdoor grow successful? Is it dodging a hurricane and pulling pounds? Is it avoiding the sticky fingwrs of AstroThieves? In veg, it responded well as I learned about how to best train it. In flower, the smell was insane... after the first smell my eyes rolled back. Sweet floral orange citrus with a hint of chemical cleaner smell that comes together to smell like a tropical sunscreen. When I was trimming the tester, my friend was walking by and stopped in his tracks, "whoa which one is that!?" - this one is loud! The smell is super strong even after drying, and really translates into the smoke. This was the star of the show, and made the best smoke. 10/10 would grow again. One small issue was that this plant was by far the most susceptible to powdery mildew. It started on this plant, and any time it popped up in the tent, this plant had some. I had to stay on the Dr Zymes and trimming any affected leaves, but it was worth it. Overall I ended up with just under 40g, but I smoked a bunch while trimming and took a sample cut, so really it was 7-10g more... this one was chopped on day 64. The buds were fat and firm and the trichomes looked ready, with a good mix - probably 5% clear 85% cloudy 10% amber. I trimmed this plant 2nd and was getting better at it, ended up with some really nice looking nugs... so of course I took a ton of pics!

31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

Everything is going great, I also think my plants have stopped stretching/growing, although really close to the lights. I am not seeing lightburn, is this is something should be concerned about? The leaf temp is about 75 degree under the light. Also just sticking with AN Bloom, Big Bud, Bud Candy. Should I be using B52? Also is overdrive worth it? it seems expensive for two weeks worth of work? One more question? Is superThrive bad in flowering? I read somewhere it could make bad things happen in flower because of the hormones it has. thus my question about B52.

I got a double scrog setup and I'm gonna let it grow into it. This is my first grow and I'm excited. General Hydroponics nutes (Flora series). Kingbrite QB 288 v3 from alibaba. I'm just gonna let her do her thing until about week 3.

So finally topping time has arrived she’s been topped and so far doesn’t show signs of care just keep growing ,big difference from last week getting bigger day by day now

NOTE 1: Afgooey Auto pheno #3 turns out it's a MALE. Resembled nothing like her two sisters ran at the same time. In fact, I had to move her to the 12/12 tent to initiate flowering. Little did I know or expect She would be a He. Lola by the Kinks is rattling round my brain about now ;) FEEL FREE TO HIT THE LIKE BUTTON IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE ;) 2x4 French Macaron - at the time of this posting, FM is heading into week 8 flower. Second extensive flushing w/fresh rain water due to acidic conditions (ph >5). Been struggling with ph the entire flowering. I speculate ph issues due to over feeding. Ph is roughly 5.8 to 6.0 after flushing. At this point, flushing with plain RO water until harvest. NOTE 2: I've introduced two 5 gallon bubble buckets into the 2x4 grow tent. Both buckets have medium air stones running from a 125 gph air pump. Given French Macaron isn't scheduled for harvest until mid-January, I might not have cutting ready. First grow may have to be from seed. Update later. 3x3 Afgooey Autos and clones from previous grow - Afgooey #1 and #2 are firing on all cylinders. #2 running a bit acidic (>5), so flushed back to neutral with roughly 7-8 gallons of fresh rain water ph at 7.0 to 7.2. Same with clones (i.e., ph very low). Flushed with fresh rain water too. A couple days later plants look so much better. Wait till plants nearly dry before next watering. Trimmed and cleaned up three of the clones growing weird. Felt a bit like trimming a bonzai tree. Let's see how they respond.
