Sorry for being late with this update! 😱 Plants are maturing well but I noticed Matcha is developing slower compared to Pistachio and I assume that's because the height of the lights are very different from each plant, but both are still going forward. A clear sign of maturity is Pistachio's brighter color leafs and the amount of "brown" pistils on both plants. Trichomes are developing well too. Anyway, I think I will give Pistachio one more week and then see how Matcha develops to cut her. I also started to defoliate my girls, there were tons of dying leaves! See you all in my next update!

18cm vertical growth this week. She's not very tall.... Not sure what I've done wrong. 😐 Slowing down now we are entering flowering. She is VERY bushy!!!!!! Very short internode length. I've cut the big fan leaves off the main stem to allow light to penetrate her lower leaves!!! I never usually do this, but she is so bushy they had to go.

DRYING TIME

Going great. Really seeing the p/k boost kicking in. Flowers stacking and growing in girth. This is far more important than length, ask my wife. It’s true. Really. Anyway it’s good.

A sight and a tremendous mint smell when I went to remove a sprout that had appeared, what a lovely smell. Broad, healthy leaves At 25 days old, seven days after the apical pruning, I noticed that the leaves were already hindering the growth of the lower branches, so I opted for defoliation. I removed all the large leaves from the main stem, about six leaves per plant. I always take advantage of watering day to do any pruning. Plants, like humans, cope better with stress on a full stomach. Since the plants had already reached a good size, I was able to position them as they would remain until the last day. I'm not one to move them around much; I like them to maintain their position and grow naturally towards the light. Later on, I'll do LST (Low Stress Training). To avoid excessive stress on a cannabis plant when pruning, the general rule is to remove between 20% and 30% of the total foliage (leaves and branches) in a single session. Pruning more than 50% usually causes significant stress that can stunt growth or delay flowering. Later, the next day, I decided to put the benders on once I saw it was possible and get it over with. Las plantas al igual que los humanos pasamos mejor el estrés con la barriga bien llena. Como que las plantas ya habian alcanzado un buen tamaño pude ponerlas en la posición tal como pasarán hasta el último dia. No soy persona de moverlas mucho, me gusta que mantengan la posición y que ellas mismas crezcan orientándose a la luz. Más adelante un LST . Para evitar el estrés excesivo en una planta de cannabis al podar, la regla general es retirar entre un 20% y un 30% de la masa foliar total (hojas y ramas) en una sola sesión. Superar el 50% de poda suele causar un estrés significativo que puede detener el crecimiento o retrasar la floración. Más adelante fue al dia siguiente. Una vez vi posible ponerle los dobladores obté por hacerlo y quitármelo ya de encima.

The LST i did in the past few weeks is starting to pay off. The plants are spreading nice and even, not bad for a first timer but it can be better. In this week, i’ll try to water more to boost their growth because in the past few weeks i only water them once a week for the reason that I always wait until the top soil goes dry and it took almost a week for that to happen. I read in an article that you should carry your pot after a day of watering the plants to able to know that is the weight of the pot when it has water, so you can determine if the pot is light that means you can water them even the top soil is still wet. I’ll try this method lets see if i’ll end up overfeeding my plants or not. In this week will be doing same routine like last week, always monitor humidity and temperature. Spread the fan leaves so the leaves underneath can receive enough light.

FBT2402 is getting close to done. I had a lot of issues through the grow. I believe it is pest related. I treated other plants not flowering with neem and the issue stopped on them. So I will be glad to get her done so I can treat everything again, and the room. She does have some colas on her. She could of done so much more though. My bad. Major changes here at Night Owl summer camp. Have had a rodent problem! Something has figured out a way to get into the dormitory (greenhouse)and had a feast on my plants. Five branches off the Harvey Wallbanger, and two each off the Vanilla Fizz and the 91Grapes. Oh my gosh! I needed to do something else. My wife gave me a spare bedroom for a grow nursery! What a girl I have! So spent the day yesterday moving tents and hanging lights and got the girls all situated in the new dormitory away from some vampire in the night. Will give an individual plant update shortly. ***ok, back. Let’s start with the Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey was on her way to becoming my most interesting grow to date before she was devoured by some creature of the night. She’s a cross of Orange Diesel and Cookie Smasher and even at this early stage of flowering she’s producing a nice glossy sheen and sweet aroma to match. She is a towering 48 inches making her the tallest autoflower that I have ever grown. She is slender and resembles the structure of a clone but I believe her flowers themselves will be massive in size and trichomes production. To date she has yet to make a single leaf with more than five points on it. She is truly interesting. Next let’s explore the Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz didn’t get it as bad as Miss Harvey but suffered significant injuries as well. Loosing two full branches and enough bottom bud sites that the bottom 30 percent is now already cleaned up. She is the bushiest of the three with plenty of growing bud sites. Standing a proud forty three inches tall she comes in last in height but may be stacked up the nicest. Last but certainly not least comes the 91Grapes. Since she received the least amount damage from nightly feastings we are going to feature her until harvest. Only loosing two branches and not much else she was spared from destruction. She is massive!!! Not a massive amount of vegetation just in size over all. She’s 44 inches tall and big enough around for a bear hug. She takes up the entire 40 inch by 40 inch tent all by herself. She was probably spared damage due to her size. Pom poms are everywhere as is evidence of cheerleading practices and she is captain of the squad. Going to have to get a little more creative with the way watering will be conducted in the future. The formula 707 soil is for retaining moisture in outdoor conditions so I am afraid that it will retain moisture indoors and be a pest problem.

Lots of bud sites with nice buds forming , some trichomes are now on the plant , it's eating the feed really fast and looking healthy
