Week 3 has been fairly good. It started off with my trusty humidifier biting the dust and finding my humidity down to around 35% 😩 So I quickly purchased a replacement, which increased my temperature to 79 degrees but also brought the humidity back up to 73-75%. The first day of higher temperature had a leaf or two get some slight wilting, but the following day they went back to normal and the explosion (explosive sound) started! I also upped the nutes on Monday, bringing my PPM up to just under 600. Gotta say it’s been pretty smooth since then as the girl has reacted positively. I literally topped this morning, although yesterday I wasn’t sure if that 5th node would come out before I posted. Overnight it granted my wish of being big enough to snip! Again, this is my first experience, so although my feelings may be good so far.. I’d love to hear back from you guys about what you see and if I need to change anything or implement any cool stuff. Speaking of cool stuff, I’ll be putting together my top hanging 2 net Scrog this weekend. So wish me BIG luck on getting it right! PS. I forgot to get pics of the roots, but they are long as crap and all white (h2o2 once a week). I’ll include them next week.

Tag 52: Ich habe die Cookies Gelato erneut entlaubt um mehr Struktur zu schaffen. Die Pflanze bildet dermaßen viele Verzweigungen aus die auch noch so winzig sind, das ich denke mich für die falsche Pflanze entschieden zu haben. Jetzt ist es zu spät und ich muss mit dem Arbeiten was ich hier hab 😆 Tag 54: Die Pflanze wächst im zeitlupentempo weiter 😞

Day 33: What an amazing height and bud gain in just 3 days! Lady #1 is 67 cm tall now, her sister a tad smaller. Both still have a great color, and I dared to cur away just the lowest branches and leaves that do not look like they could gain height in time. Really enjoying this strain so far! At the end of their day, they are a bit dropping leaves, so clearly no hunger for more light. The impressive growth speed continued on their buds: Tallest lady at 70 cm now. Their next morning shows growth is still at an impressive 5 cm/day as lady #1 with her leaves erected again stretches now 72, the maximum of my previous growth. Pulled the lights as close as possible to the ceiling and hope they won’t make it much more than 1 m. I activated the Sansi 30 W folded wings LED to give them somewhat of a morning and evening light and to add some more light to their overlapping center branches in the middle of "their" day. Sadly that’s causing some interference to the timelapse videos, but I can’t say they’re perfect if it wouldn’t. Watching the timelapse video of day 34, I have the feeling the additional light rather irritates them. Maybe the interference is not only visible for electronic eyes. I’ll keep it off next day for comparisons. Day 35 shows stretch speed has reduced indeed and they seem to be concentrating on leaf and bud growth instead. 75 cm, so we are currently at "only" 3 cm/day. Watered them with a HPE/Bud growth mix again last night, about 1 l each. Well, forget my words about reduced growth. After they recovered during the night, we are at 77 cm for lady #1. Which measured at 78 with hanging leaves in their day’s evening. I must have missed a day number – day 36 concludes their 5th week. I gave them another 2 l of fertilised water each and will lave them for the weekend again. Video shows that growth concentrates now more on leaf and bud development than on gaining height. So I guess my 160 cm tent will be sufficient. For a moment I was worried, but it looks like stretch is over. Anyway, time to rearrange the camera next week. Leaves are running out of focus.

They are all showing preflower and chugging along nicely.

Day 46 - Defoliation video! Day 49 - Bulking up big time now! She is watered with a 2.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients, every 5-6 days!

Day 30 toady, i switched to 12/12 3 days ago e the babies are already stretching hard and some are showing preflowers i'm pretty happy i'm watering with no nutrients as i'm using Canna Pro Plus soil and it should have enough nutrients for the first 3/4 weeks of flower. I cleaned the bottom of the plants from lowers branches and leaves and i will continua till day 14 of flower and i fixed it with a bamboo stick i got gifted from @AlpineGoat i will fix the other branches in the next weeks i'm pretty stocked with this grow this genetics are really solid growing strong and fast! Not bad at all, chopped on day 73. It should / could have gone a little longer, but it was dying. After the lockout it stopped eating and drinking, and with the new light they had to much heat and the tops started drying up. One morning I opened up the tent and felt like the smell was burnt away, I lowered the temps and started flushing until it was smelly again and chopped it. Waiting for the new box to come in.. should take another 10 days max. End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Day 28 veg: All is going daily good with these 3 ladies from Exotic Seed. The burn in the leaves is from a treatment forbrhe horrendous fungus gnat issue that ibhad hoped to managed but they are winning. lol. I am daily spraying them with home made treatment of steeped tobacco and dish soap with bicarb of soda. I caught the leaves with aspray here and there leading to the discolouration and burn The Strawberry cola is doing well and forming a nice top cola with good height supporting side branching . hopefully I can keep them together as the canopy grows. There are hints of white hairs on the bracts so flowering is close. Herz O.g is a big lady so far .Her f.i.m went good and could benefit the end yield . Shebhas fairly wide spacing on her frame so far so I will have to watch the stretch carefully. White hairs at the bracts are showing her female gender through so another close to flowering. she will need some l.s.t to stay in good light. Monster Mash looks happy enough and is keeping pace with the others so far. let's see what next week reveals. be safe folks
