Hey guys! 😀👋 Week 5 is here and my girls are growing fast! But as always, some things happened/did some things this week: - The girl's that's on the front (closer to the camera) is clearly growing faster and for that reason I believe she's going to get into flower before than her sister! - I think the girl on the back might be have some kind of excess or deficit going on? Confusing. No idea what could've be doing it. - I've been tucking leaves pretty much all week. Specially on the girl on the back and some of her leaves are twitching in a very weird way. I want to defoliate a little so the lower buds get more but Iight fear I might end stunning my girls!😨 - I reinforced the LST on my girls, the one that I did was not enough! Start of flowering week 1. This girl is already bigger then her round 1 sister and she's starting to stretch after just a few days of 12/12 light. The only nutrient difference this grow, will be the addition of sensizym, hopefully it helps pack on a few more grams per plant.

Do-Si-Dos has germinated, and sprouted on the first try. She is looking healthy and hopefully she finds the solution quickly. Everything is looking good at the moment. A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

But it is a amazing cherry tree and she is different then all the other autos i did before, There is a very nice smell, also very different so we'll she but she is taking her time compared to the others.

I mean theyre not the biggest. But i saw gelato buds spend in dispenserys (www). Who re smaller than mine. They grow up in height, tall and weight. Trichomes re the same as always... 😛 Har har.. Because this strain is so OUTSTANDING.. She DESERVES a little more time because of some inaccuracies from me...................... And i really want this indica Punch. For this is better to become some amber trichoms... And weight.. 😛 💪 DAY 58 OF FLOWER. She is ok. Ripening. But the aphids. Week 5 and we are sailing along just topped dressed the plants as of day 30 and feed them their weekly organic mater with compost tea and top dress some home made worm castings adding worms and biology to the soil. 2 more week since the one gallon and then into their final home. Removed all big fans as of day 31 to allow all side branches to grow out into a bush. The little fans will replace the bigger ones. Strong Smells of lemon lime noticeable after handling plants

I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

***UPDATE*** ITS CHOPPIN DAY!! Late in day 87 I was going for macros. Made the decision while seeing MANY yellow trichomes that Wedding Glue from FastBuds is DONE! Attaching pics to the beginning of the weeks uploads. She sure turned out pretty asf didn't she? Lights out occurs in like 30min, and I'm going to work through the dark period stripping the large fans off. Utilizing my green Christmas lights hung up above lol. May turn light on low for a quick pic before chopping/hanging. Next update will be harvest! 2 Girls 1 Cup week 12? Hopefully the finish is this week... My my my how WG has fattened up the last 2 weeks. Trying to get some good macros since it's too hard to hold the scope to my phone and focus everything. Probably better for the existing trics too since they're not being touched. Day 84- these trics are taking their sweet time to ripen. Was considering picking up some GHE Ripen to speed the process up.. especially because a local shop is closing and everything is 40% off. Let's keep it simple this run. I'll get some additives for the next grow to enhance GHE's perfected formulas of macro/micros in the Flora series. An update on the "sample" I clipped from WG the other day. It's not dried/cured proper. Actually been sitting in a brown bag with the outlet of the tent blowing on it lol. Can taste some vanilla in it through the chlorophyll and shit still in the flowers. VERY heady effect that hits me like a friggin wave. Creativity and energy uplifted for sure. Picked up a grove bag to give it a whirl with curing. May put some in glass to compare side by side with the bags. Figured I'd give their roots an ice bath since I've done other bro science. Shit, GK still hasn't popped a nanner after all I've put her through 🤣. *edit* added some late day WG only pics to show her fall colors coming in. Moving in fast now.
