Week 16 - Flo 7 weeks A successful flowering: all plants are almost ready. May be 10 days before the Final Cut. Decisive and exiting week: buds are pumping, becoming incredibly dense, hard, thick and resinous. The smell intensity is really problematic even with the carbon filter. Just a few yellow leaves on the base: no signs of deficiencies, just normal process. It’s time to start flushing The EnFun (2x120W) did the job. Good efficiency for little space.

The smell on this one is next-level for real! I got 2–3 different phenos, but they all carry that same loud scent I’d describe it as sweet and fruity I honestly can’t wait to smoke it, and judging by the insane layer of trichomes she’s rocking, I already know she’s gonna hit hard.😝😝

🍑❄️ To be continued… 💚 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WEEK 14 – THREE BECOME ONE 🍑🌿🌿🌿 This week the Apricots are finally showing me why this outdoor project has become something very special. What started as three individual Apricot Autos now almost looks like one single massive plant. Through training and spreading the branches, all three plants have grown together into one shared flowering canopy. Tops are appearing everywhere – and at this point the mission is no longer about creating more structure. Now it's all about building flowers. And there has been a noticeable change since the previous update. The individual buds are starting to swell and the flower clusters are becoming increasingly substantial. What I particularly like is that this development isn't limited to the highest colas. There are well-developed flowers deeper throughout the structure as well, making the whole canopy look increasingly packed with bud sites. ❄️ The frost is coming The close-ups probably tell the story better than anything else this week. Trichome production is really starting to accelerate. It's no longer restricted to the flowers themselves – the surrounding sugar leaves are becoming visibly coated as well. Under direct sunlight some of these tops already sparkle like they've been dusted with sugar. At the same time, several flowers are beginning to show subtle darker, reddish and purple tones, creating beautiful little contrasts between the green foliage and the increasingly bright resin coverage. This is exactly the stage I've been waiting for. 😍 🌿 Three plants – three personalities Although the three Apricots now appear to be one giant plant from a distance, looking closer reveals subtle differences between them. Some branches are developing slightly longer, stacked flowers, while others are producing more compact-looking tops. Small differences are also starting to appear in coloration and resin production. And that's one of my favorite parts of this project: Three seeds from the same genetics, trained together and grown under the same conditions – yet each plant is still allowed to show its own personality. ☀️ This is real outdoor growing There is no perfectly controlled indoor environment here. Sunshine, clouds, wind, temperature swings and everything else a real summer decides to throw at them. Yet these three Apricots continue to maintain an impressive structure. The foliage is still working hard, the branches are now carrying a serious number of flowers and the plants are visibly directing more and more of their energy toward bud production. That's exactly what I love about outdoor growing. You don't control everything. You work together with nature. 🍑 My favorite part is beginning From this point forward, every day becomes more interesting. The foundation of the flowers is established. Now it's time for the calyxes to swell, the buds to become denser, the resin layer to get heavier and the colors to slowly work their way through the flowers. If these Apricots continue developing at this pace, the final part of this journey could become something really beautiful. Three plants. One shared canopy. Bud sites everywhere. And slowly the whole thing is turning into a frosty wall of Apricot. 🍑❄️ To be continued… 💚

In this week, most of the plants have developed pistils. I will keep using vegetation fertilizer for a few days, until they evolve completely. I also decided to use scrog method to keep the plants at the same height.

Week 15 Day 99 (20/11/2020): Unfortunately did not have time today to take pictures or check them because have been quite busy. Day 100 (21/11/2020): Woow day 100 today, which seems a bit crazy but I think the girls just need another month and they will be ready for harvest. It has been a great grow so far and although 100 days seems like a lot, the girls have definitely come really far. Day 101 (22/11/2020)💧: Measured the pH of the girl today before watering and it was at 5.78 which means it needs to be increased slightly. I wonder why it keeps dropping because apparently the BioBizz soil is supposed to maintain the pH pretty well but I guess she is quite big and must be taking in more nutrients. I also keep noticing that there still seems to be quite a prevalent Calcuim deficiency even with the CalMag and since the pH is not that low I will also be increasing the CalMag for this week to see if the spots on the leaves improve. So I watered with the usual 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of TopMax, and now 4ml of CalMag. And on top of that I gave 0.75ml of pH+ to increase the pH by 0.5 points. The buds are definitely fattening up more and the trichomes are looking much more dense as well. I also can’t get over the smell, it is so sweet and citrusy! Day 102 (23/11/2020): Not that many updates today actually, just happily growing 🌱 Day 103 (24/11/2020): Every time I come to check the girls I just cannot get enough of Sweet Zkittlez’s smell. It definitely lives up to the “Sweet” in the name. It is so incredible and super sticky as well! I absolutely cannot wait to see how this one tastes, I really think it will be super unique. Day 104 (25/11/2020)💧: Today I watered the girl with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5 of Topmax, and 4ml of CalMag. I really don’t think I can do much about the yellowing leaves at this point. I think it is just getting closer and closer to harvest and is withdrawing all the nitrogen from the leaves. I won’t correct for it now and just let it do its thing, I think I am feeding it enough nutrients 😅 Day 105 (26/11/2020): Managed to take some lovely pictures and a video of a close up of those beautiful snowy trichomes. This girl will definitely be a hard hitter – all the trichomes are so densely packed. Amazing progress from last week and the flowers are definitely fattening up.

This week has went well for one of the plants. the mainlined plant "plant #1" has exploded in size and now dwarfs the single cola plant "plant #2". I also defoliated #2 plant to try and increase how fat it gets. One weird thing with plant #1 is one of its main colas split on its own, and I did not top it. this can been seen in the video. Don't know why this happened, not angry that it did. Have also been noticing that plant #2 is very indica like with how compact the plant is. even its nodes are compact vs plant #1 that is more airy and spaced out.

-Sensi Seeds Research: The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #12, week 4 of Flowering. The ladies are starting to smell very strong, it’s smells like living plants and fresh THC. Genetics are still doing great, no signs of weird buds formation or any signs of hermies, nothing can’t go wrong on this side now. I just need to keep an eye on the buds and under the canopy to pick up some few old dying leaves. Switching to Bloom nutrients, following Cellmax feeding recommendations, to give them everything they need at the right time with the right amount. It’s nearly the time to switch the dehumidifier on, to control RH levels to avoid any mold. Stay tuned folks 😎 (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞)

11-29 Bad news, Banana Purple Punch has been let go. 😭 She was very stunted and tiny, so I made the bold decision to call it. Thought about letting her finish, but she was really small. But Strawberry cheesecake is making up for it!. This thing seems super happy atm! She has jumped to around 12 inches. Stretch is officially on! Triple grape is rockin too, few flimsy leafs, bud branches. One of the branches, kinda twisted itself. Imma look into that one. But both rockin and lovin the EM1. More importantly than the rest! I still haven't over watered or fed. 😁💪 Time will tell, but I'm staying the course! Happy Holidays 😁🤘 12-1 2k water, silica 3ml, cal/mag 3ml, drops balance 1ml and some dust of yucca. 6.2 Stripped GC of anything blocking anything else . Couple blocked bud sites too. Wont touch for at least 3 days. Maybe 4, we will say next water? She may be a bit stressed 😂 Im sure the stripping didnt help. 💪🤘 3x- 11.5 inches tall Scc- 12.5 in tall . .

Starting to get my first issues with what appears to be calcium deficiency and perhaps nitrogen deficiency as well. Bumped up the CALiMAGic to 2mL per gallon to try and turn it around. Measured runoff ph is 6.15 so I think still ok. Did not get a PPM measurement yet though. Assume I still have a few solid weeks of flowering to go.
