the smell is just ridiculous. I'm pretty proud of that. the buds are bulking nice, they are very dense and I am happy with the amount of bud I'm looking at. I go in a couple times a day to manually move the branches around to make sure there is air going everywhere a little, I pinch a few leaves here and there. Pretty much on auto pilot now, going to start watering twice a day now one nutrient and one straight water. Thanks for lookin! Also. my week count is wrong, my weeks are based on 8 nutrient mixes i use, i call them weeks 1-8, i start flushing my week 9, but for reference, this grow, week 6 ends on day 45, I'm more worried on the plant then the calendar. I have a 70 day general target from Garden of Green, I watch and change my "weeks" according to plant. I won't lie this grow looks and smells great to me, the smell is ridiculous how strong it is! and I am worried I will find excuses to cut earlier, lol, but i will fight that

No changes to nutes except few extra drops of calmag just in case and will try to fill the net entirely. Week 7 Nov 27- Dec 3 Nov 27 Selective defoliation applied on Xena. 8-10 mainly small fan leaves. She is still a bit shy to open as much as her sister. No rush my girl. You still doing great! Nov 28 First watering for this week. 7ltr beetwen them both with 4h spread. Runoffs. Xena 300ml PH 6.1 Athena 250ml PH 6.4 😁. So far the largest amount of my magic mixture consumed by my 🍌💜👊 girls. Beautifully colored 😍 It still has signs of nutrient deficiency, but it's nothing serious anymore 😉 And she had brown spots on her leaves, for all I know, it's too much calcium and magnesium, so I'm not going to add him next week.

Looking like a healthy yeild from her too. took the c02 out about 5 days ago. I'm guessing around 5-7 days until harvest. absolutely love this strain so i'm stoked to have a nice resupply coming soon i'm gonna toss out a dried flower weight guess of hmmmmmmm 122 g

Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

Since sprouting above ground I've been top watering RO water until the roots hit the water. I also covered the net pots with reflective film to avoid any light leaking into the rdwc system to avoid any issues later on in the grow. Day 5 - Roots are starting to touch the water so I'm expecting the growth rate to pick up soon 😏 Trol master unit is set up and connected to my light at 40% and on a 18/6 lighting schedule. This was a easy grow for my first diary I’ve learned a lot for the next one I’m going to dry it for about a week now and then put it in jars to cure

Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!
