Skywalker OG — Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy Week 8 from seed | Week 3 Flower Another week in the jungle with our Skywalker OG girls growing under 12/12 from seed, and the room is looking healthy, vibrant, and full of life. For anyone joining the diary now, here is a quick recap of the journey so far. These plants were grown 12/12 directly from seed, a style I enjoy exploring because it allows the plant to express its structure naturally while keeping the cycle compact and efficient. After the early development stages and a recent defoliation session last week, the girls are now entering a beautiful phase where the canopy starts filling again. And as often happens after a good cleanup… it already looks like no defoliation ever happened. The Skywalkers are doing exactly what they do best: growing bushy, strong, and lush green. The canopy is filling fast, and by the looks of it, we may have another light defoliation session coming soon to maintain airflow and light penetration deeper into the plant. ⸻ Environmental Conditions At this stage the room is running slightly on the aggressive side, but with strong airflow and air exchange we are keeping things stable. Current room parameters Temperature: ~28°C Relative Humidity: ~70% (slowly reducing) Airflow: Strong circulation + active air exchange Yes, these numbers are slightly higher than the textbook recommendations, but the key here is air movement and gas exchange. With strong airflow inside the canopy and constant air renewal, the plants remain comfortable and actively transpiring. Still, over the coming weeks we will gradually reduce humidity and slightly lower temperature as the flowers begin to develop further. ⸻ Light Intensity PPFD in the room varies depending on plant size and position. Most of the Skywalker OG plants are receiving between: 800 – 1300 PPFD There is also one wild card in the room pushing 1800–2000 PPFD, but that plant belongs to another genetic experiment and not to the Skywalker OG group. For the Skywalkers, the current light intensity is pushing vigorous growth without visible stress, which is exactly what we want at this stage. ⸻ Feeding Strategy The girls are clearly eating well right now. Current nutrient EC: 2.4 Runoff EC (substrate): ~0.9 This tells us the plants are actively taking nutrients from the medium. As long as the plants continue eating and the runoff remains stable, the recipe stays the same. If feeding slows or runoff EC starts climbing, we adjust accordingly. For now, the system is balanced and working. ⸻ Current Nutrient Recipe The current feeding program includes: CalMag Pro Terra Bloom Power Buds Green Sensation Pure Zym Sugar Royal Vita race is available as a foliar spray, but at this stage of flowering I prefer not spraying the plants unless absolutely necessary. Keeping flowers dry helps avoid unnecessary risks. ⸻ Why We Transitioned From Power Roots to Power Buds Early in the cycle the focus was on root development, which is why we used Power Roots. Now that the plants are established and entering full flower development, the focus shifts toward flower initiation and early bud formation. This is where Power Buds comes into play. It helps stimulate the plant’s natural hormonal signals related to flower site formation and bud development, encouraging the plant to direct more energy toward the reproductive stage. ⸻ Why We Added Green Sensation Green Sensation is introduced at this stage to support: • bud development • terpene production • overall flower density • plant metabolism during bloom It acts as a metabolic booster, helping plants maintain energy while building flowers. The idea is not to push plants aggressively, but to support their natural flowering process. ⸻ Mixing Order — Why It Matters The order in which nutrients are mixed is often overlooked, but it is important for solution stability. The mixing process always starts with CalMag. CalMag is added first until the base EC reaches approximately 0.7. This establishes a stable mineral foundation for the rest of the solution. After that we add: 1️⃣ Base nutrient (Terra Bloom) 2️⃣ Flower additives 3️⃣ Enzymes and metabolic boosters Adding nutrients in the proper order helps prevent chemical precipitation and nutrient instability, keeping the solution balanced and fully available for the plant. In other words: Chemistry matters. ⸻ What to Expect Next Over the coming weeks we expect to see: • more vertical stretch slowing down • flower sites stacking • increased aroma development • stronger nutrient demand The main focus will be maintaining airflow, light penetration, and environmental balance as the canopy thickens. If the jungle keeps expanding at this pace, another selective defoliation may happen soon to keep the plants breathing comfortably. ⸻ Final Thoughts For now the room feels alive and balanced. The Skywalker OG girls are healthy, green, and moving steadily into the flowering phase. She’s getting bigger and bigger buds. They begin making a nice “frosty” look. Today my vipaspectra P600 arrived and I directly installed it. The p600 is Running on 75% at 18cm away from the main bus. She kind of loves the light for the first hour.

was being greedy yall and basically I put the light to close to them and I gave to much light to them light burn them I feel like a bad parent that dint put in any sunscreen on there babies .. but since I learn about these that there special you can get some pretty dooe stuff out of one pack of seeds but yeah I’m truly impressed with sativa built one in have four of these plants and they did a hell of stretching late flower no body tell you when buds get bigger they stretch even more but yeah these plants are beautiful but I turned up the light intensity and messed my self up so today lesson don’t think every plant needs the same amount of light lol .. but yeah these plants drink a lot also very heavy feeders so yeah love it . At this stage I am feeding high around 1500 ppm and at ph of 6 to 5.9 so yeah hit if you wanna know more ..

🌿 Journal de Culture : Mac 1 – "Spirit" (Plante #2) – Floraison Avancée ​Date du jour : 02/06/2026 Âge de la plante : J+59 (Semaine 9) Taille actuelle : 131 cm Évolution : +16 cm depuis le dernier suivi (Elle continue de grimper !) ​De retour de vacances de Rimini ! Les filles ont été autonomes, mais Spirit a continué sa poussée verticale impressionnante. On entre dans le vif du sujet avec le gonflement des fleurs et quelques ajustements techniques majeurs suite à une surprise dans le réservoir. ​📊 État de Santé & Évolution des Fleurs ​Une structure géante : Spirit atteint désormais 131 cm. La gestion de l'espace devient un véritable casse-tête logistique. Pour rappel, avec une tente de 1m80 de hauteur et un pot de 30 cm, la marge est extrêmement mince. ​Gonflement des têtes : Les buds grossissent vraiment bien et prennent une belle forme, même si pour moi, ce sont encore de gros bourgeons qui ont encore une belle marge de progression. L'odeur qui s'en dégage est extrêmement forte et profondément fruitée, c'est un régal. ​Feuillage & Absence de sénescence : Toutes les feuilles affichent un vert bien sombre et vigoureux, sans aucun signe de sénescence pour le moment. J'ai remarqué quelques légères brûlures sur de rares pointes, mais rien d'inquiétant : c'est simplement dû au fait qu'elle transpirait beaucoup des feuilles aux endroits où je la manipulais pour le tricotage. ​Gestion des nuisibles : Ayant constaté une présence trop importante de mouches de terreau (sciarides), j'ai placé une feuille collante jaune (glue) au pied de la plante pour piéger les adultes et assainir le substrat. ​⚙️ Paramètres Environnementaux & Gestion Lumineuse ​Climat : Températures stables à 24°C le jour et 21°C la nuit. L'hygrométrie est maîtrisée à l'aide du déshumidificateur pour sécuriser la floraison. ​Ajustement de la lampe (Alerte Hauteur) : Suite à sa croissance indomptable, la cime la plus haute de Spirit ne se trouve plus qu'à 15 cm de la lampe. Le reste de la canopée générale se maintient à environ 35 cm de la source lumineuse. Je surveille quotidiennement pour éviter les brûlures par rayonnement sur le sommet principal. ​ Nutrition, Arrosage & Correctif pH ​Le repas du jour : J'ai préparé un arrosage manuel contenant 5 ml de Bio PK 5-8 de Biotabs dans 1 litre d'eau, ajusté à un pH de 6,3. Les plantes se montrent particulièrement gourmandes à ce stade. ​Incident pH à mon retour de vacances : À mon retour après 4 jours d'absence, j'ai constaté avec surprise que le pH de l'eau dans le réservoir Autopot était monté à 8. ​La cause : Le bulleur d'air installé dans le réservoir. L'oxygénation constante par bullage fait dégazer le CO₂ de l'eau, ce qui fait grimper le pH en flèche de manière très instable. Je me rends compte que l'eau n'a presque jamais été au bon pH depuis près d'un mois. ​Actions correctives : J'ai immédiatement retiré le bulleur du réservoir. J'ai également changé de correcteur pour utiliser le pH Down de Plagron (spécial système hydro), beaucoup plus stable dans le temps pour les cuves de solution. ​📝 Résumé de la situation ​Malgré un pH de réservoir qui a joué au yoyo ces dernières semaines à cause du bulleur, Spirit montre une résistance et une santé de fer. Sa structure est monstrueuse et elle n'a pas faim. Maintenant que le problème de stabilité du pH est réglé et que le bulleur est retiré, l'assimilation des nutriments va être optimale pour la phase de gonflement qui s'annonce massive. Attention toutefois à la lampe qui est désormais très proche de la cime principale ! ​🙏 Remerciements ​Un immense merci à @mia_biotabs et à Mrs_Larimar pour votre soutien constant et vos précieux conseils de culture. 58 days in the books. Scheduled for knee surgery on the 10th so harvest on this girl may be coming sooner than I had hoped. My next diary will be 1 Big Bud and 1 Agent orange who have both been vegging the last 3+months. Gave them a lollipop hair cut 1 week ago. Both are recovering nicely. Anywho, happy gardening 🌱🙏🤘🖖✌️ ¤ With the help of my amazing lady friend the grow goes on. She will be aiding me in the 3 waterings (flush) to get this girl to the 10 week mark! Resin and trichomes are progressing from clear milky to milky amber.

Ended up giving 3 more feeds but have run out of time again. Still not really seeing any amber trichomes but starting flush and hope for the best. Pretty sure I am going to end up with about 3 ounces less then first run but the buds look heaps better.

I only use a stimulant and cal mag. There will be no training for the entire period; this is not necessary in this grove. Growth is going quite well, they are even outpacing my babies who were planted earlier. The plant in the middle is a little behind. The lamp operates at 25%. Further more, success is inevitable.

The second tallest one of the bunch. I'm excited to watch how a strain rich in CBD grows in comparison to THC rich strains. I topped and defoliated every plant. I'm trying to form them into canna-bushes. Hopefully I'm doing the correct training procedures to make them all grow that way both indoors and out.

The 4 plants that will go on to flowering has received some training in prep for flowering.
