Week 5 - Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 82 during the day and 72 at night. It’s been creeping up and down for the past couple of weeks. I’m thinking of ordering a T8 Cloudline from AC to really suck that air out… I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop and wow, just wow. Already popping with some long stems and big heads! These girls just keep getting better and better. They are also really starting to show their pheno differences, and similarities. 3 of them have very similar terps, and slight variations, and one is distinct in both smell and look.

Amazing Kush strain with nice sweet fruity terpenes, it almost remind of winegums but with a hard kush punsh in the face. We loved to grow this banana kush from super sativa seeds club. Nice yellowish coloured buds which gets hard as rocks, she loves some good toppings and LST, we had her in a bushy shape but dont forget the extra support as the buds get heavier and might fall around.

Week was great as I saw the end to my fungus gnats and the plants really began to develop their own signature smells. The monster plant has more myrcene funky smell to it and the smaller bushy plants are hitting hard with fruity earth tones. This week looked like this: 2/7: nothing 2/8: 1 gal water/pot with 1 tbsp coconut water powder/pot and 1 drop of microbe lite bmc 2/9: nothing 2/10: nothing 2/11: 1 gal water/pot with 1 tbsp aloe flakes/pot. and 1 drop microbe lite bmc. Top dressed with gnarley barley which is sprouted hemp seed, Barley seed and corn seed which i pulverized 2/12: nothing 2/13: .5 gal water/pot and light defoliation

--------------------------------------- Seedsman Afghan Kush Harvest --------------------------------------- Harvest day 6th of December, 6/12/2019 Germination: 6/8/2019 Weight on the scales : 219g, weighted after 10 days of drying, but there are stems and some leaves, not a lot, but only bud would be a little less weight. Flowering weeks: 10 weeks Veg weeks: 7 weeks Fluxh weeks: 2 weeks ---------------------------------------- Harvest was a little aerlier than expected ( flowers development), because i spotted some mold points on some buds, like 5 in total, lost few flowers but a cleaning trim was done after. I was checking every day, cut the plant inmediatly, also beacuse RH was rising, and also some rain was coming after a couple of sunny days. Production could have been better, yes, but, started to flower really late too, so that allowed the plant to grow a little more also, so that added some branches and space for buds, the thing that i notice is that they could have grow more in summer, but its simply a blessing that, this plant, made it until December hahaha :D Loved to eat a lot, high doses always. Noticed extra vigorousity when adding rich micro nutrients. Trully special plant, the range of purple/dark purple/blue purple colours showed will make me remember this plant. The flowers pack an extraordinary aroma, after 3 weeks in jars, the flavour is: hash/fruity/cream and it smells like: mangoes/fresh fruits and hash/resin. Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.

Finally I meet you… she’s flowering and guess what I’ve done, due to an foreseen circumstance, going to be away for a month, and all I know is my babies will get water and rain if it does rain, Sad days ahead, however at least the are sheltered from the rising temperatures. As good as it is, guess what this genius does… you guessed it, i defoliated my babies. I hope my decision rewards me, I will surely find out when I return in September, I thought of getting my assistant to send me pictures so I can keep posting, however I think it’s best I stay completely away from posting. This will truly test my growing skill, not forgetting my building skill when it comes to the greenhouse, with temperatures rising I will finally see if this self ventilate design will keep humidity at a desirable level to promote adequate growth, I have not encountered any fungal or pest isssues, but usually problems arise during the hot seasons.

Ok week 5 veg. I usually just let the plants grow through the trellis net. This time I tried a little bit of everything. I did a fairly big trim on leaves. I tied down branches with twist ties and then lowered the trellis net overtop. I may have gone a little overboard. But looking at other peoples diary’s I am seeing a lot of techniques being used so I will giver a shot. Trial and error. **Update** Plants growing up through trellis nicely. After tie down and trim.
