I dropped these seeds into a bowl of water overnight. In this case about 8 hours. I then planted .75" deep into wet soil on 4/24/24. I prefer moist soil but we had a rain the previous evening. Outdoors you plan for the weather but you don't know with certainty what nature will throw at you. There's a lot of rain in the forecast. I'm gambling that there'll be less actual rain. I want to get these girls more veg time so there's the trade off. I didn't fill these short pots completely full of soil. The idea is that less soil will dry faster if we get loads of rain. Once we get a stand, I'll add soil topping these pots off. Prayers going up for good planting weather and hoping for a fine stand of Wedding Cheesecake 🌱🌞🚀🎂. We've had lots of rain on the night of the 25th and all day 26th. It was cloudy and humid all day on the 27th but we missed the rain. The 28th we have rain most of the day. Two of three popped on the 28th and the third on the 29th. I dug up a few inches of soil around these to loosen it up and let some air get in. Hopefully that will counter this rain and drizzle on their birthday 🎂🎈 These girls came out fine and are turning up to get some sun. Fastbuds really do handle stressful outdoor conditions better. That's why they're my go to for outdoor fems.

So far all is well. Left plant is looking great still. Right plant is still the same as it was, kinda "off." I cut the top off the main cola due to light burn. There's just no way that the plants energy it was directing to it was being used well. I'd rather it go to the rest of the plant because there's just no way that initial top was going to produce anything. It was gnarled. I've also noticed something odd going on with a couple of the buds on the stressed (purple) plant. I posted one of the pics in the pics for this weeks update. Looks kinda like bud rot to me but this is also my first grow so I could be wrong. It looks like it's only affecting the pistils. I may ask a question in the question forum just to be sure. It's odd though because conditions in the tent seem to be too dry maybe for bud rot (averaging in the 50-60% RH range and there is plenty of air circulation in that part of the tent. I'm thinking it could either be the plant negatively reacting to me cutting the main top off the other day or it's just the fact that due to the plant being stressed out for the entire grow that it's lost resistance to things like bud rot, etc.. essentially, I'm not sure at all lol.. Both plants are already showing a good amount of trichome production as the plants have almost switched from stretch flowering phase to pure on flowering/bulking phase. I can't wait to see the buds really start to mature and grow and get stinky. Carbon filter so far is working flawlessly. A week ago I was thinking it wasn't keeping up because when I'd come home from work I could smell pot but it turns out it was just my cannabutter supplies that I left out lol. D'oh. I've also been monitoring conditions in my basement over the past few weeks and have noticed that rain or no rain, the conditions down there are an average 66 degrees and 60-64% RH. With my dehumidifier if the conditions down there remain in that range, I should be able to achieve perfectly optimal drying conditions for when I harvest in 4-6 weeks or so. :) I am having a blast so far and can't wait to harvest and then really apply what I've learned online from youtube, here and reddit combined with my hands on experience from this grow to really fill out the canopy next time and also ensure both plants are the same height for some great yield. I'll probably mainline 2-3 plants for my next grow. I also want to eventually get into building my own soil and amendments but for now I'm just focusing on not learning & applying too many things at once. I just know that at some time I'd like to switch from synthetic nutrients to organic. I'm hooked for life to growing though!

Did some tie down on the side branches to help with light penetration. When I touch her, she gives off a amazing lemon sweet fuel smell, very intoxicating can't wait to cure it. Hairs are starting turn. She has been loveing a 6.8- 7 ph as well. Had a healthy feed. Added norish-L (humic acid). @ 2 drop/L

Hello and thank you for stopping by, it is now day 28 in 2x4 closet and things are going very smoothly I'm watering still with a pH of 6.5 when dry. I'm having minor issues with Gnat larvae in my coco and I am going to solve the issue by watering with neem oil for the next couple weeks. I will also be trying out some hydrogen peroxide in my water at a 4:1 ratio if the neem oil fails to control the larvae. My first top dress will be in about 7 days and I am going to be doing some low stress training this week stay tuned ☺️

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. I didn't get that much yield and the buds were too fluffy do I decide to use all the buds and trim to do bubble hash, I really enjoyed the entire process.

Day 76 - 07/12/19 The Quick One has turned into a Fat One! The colas are just huge! nice lavender smell and very sticky! the buds also look a lot more dense this time compared to my last diary probably due to adding calmag and pk13/14 and this plant is over twice as tall haha. it finished its stretch at 43cm so shouldnt be a bad sized harvest. I fed the plants last night with their last dose of nutes and im going to start flushing from today right up until harvest. My tap water is at 140ppm so this should be okay for flushing. ive grown all my plants with this tap water and tbh i used to let it sit out for a day or two to evaporate chemicals but i havent done that in ages. plants dont seem to mind it straight from the tap. but yeah flushing from today right up until around the start of next week. it should only need a week flush as its coco coir but im expecting to harvest on Day 85. The top of the main cola started to look weird and was definitely getting burned from the light. i took a small bit off as i cant adjust the height of my lights just now, gotta fit these rope rachets the light is just so damn heavy lol. im not worried tho, expecting about an ounce from this harvest, maybe more from my diesel auto diary. Still im very proud. this is my first plant with big colas, and not only tall but fat! cant wait to see how dense the buds turn out to be and i think my last harvest was at week 9 so this has had much more time to mature. I pulled a lot lot of leaves off this plant as they were crispy and yellowing. ive been feeding light amounts of nitrogen for a while so its either just the plant yellowing or the crispiness is light burn. either way you will notice from the pictures. upper colas have no fan leaves lol. and i added a couple of photos through the jewelers loupe, couldnt really get a good angle. but the breeder estimate is 8-9 weeks and il be finishing on week 12 so itll most likely be ready. I got a few more seeds and they are going to be stunning! award winning genetics and also exotic and high thc autoflowers! im using biobizz light mix and i should be starting once i harvest this diary so keep an eye out for that and check out my other diaries if you get a chance. Day 78 - still giving 1.8l of water per day. wanted to ensure im getting all the nutes and salts out of this so i gave 1.8l of phed water earlier in the day and 1.8l of phed water 6 hours later. going to try stick to the 1.8 per day as the soil dries out overnight with that amount :) Other than that the plant is looking great. some faint purple colors and its pretty frosty! nice big buds. once the plant is harvested and trimmed im gonna dry some on a drying rack for about a week. and some hung up to dry in a cardboard box for 2 weeks. Day 79 - 10/12/19 Harvested the top half of a side cola today so its cured just before christmas 🎄 and i wanted to let light penetrate the lower buds! Have a look at the pictures and let me know what you think in the comments :) Biobizz light mix arrived and im thinking of starting my next batch of seeds, keep an eye out for those diaries starting up :) I plan to harvest on day 85! so excited for this one! Day 79 same day update: Took a few pictures of the bud drying :) im gonna dry it slowly and just let the 21-23c room temperature 50-60% humidity do its job. and let me know what you guys think about using a drying rack like in the picture for buds? Day 80 - 11/12/19 A few days shy of 12 weeks now so i decided to harvest another couple of side colas! Snipped a cola down to individual buds removing all trim and the other cola i didnt break down i just trimmed. il add photos tomorrow to show what i mean :) The trim was really frosty and looked quite cloudy/plastic and the buds are covered in cloudy/amber pistils. I smoked a couple of bongs of the test bud which has been drying for about 24 hours now and im pretty stoned! very relaxed in my back and shoulders. no muscle pain. my head is heavy with enhanced audio and visuals :) this is turning out to be a beautiful afternoon smoke! very proud of myself :) Only a few more days until full harvest and i cant wait to cut the main cola down. id say the main cola could be near an ounce when dried as it looks thicker than my arm 😂 Day 81 - 12/12/19 What a night ive had :) been up for ages fine trimming 2 side colas i pulled off the plant tonight. the flushing was worrying me with the extra humidity rise. i added a ton of pictures to show off the whole ordeal as best as possible :) and i came across some mold halfway up one of the giant colas. was a very small pocket of fluff so i cut around the affected area and didnt lose too much (about 2g if dried) the side colas were so much bigger than expected. completely filled my whole raw tray with buds and my drying rack is starting to fill up. Im like a small child again as these colas are the biggest individual piece of weed that ive held :) really proud that i grew this! I also got a lot of trim and little popcorn buds. gonna keep then for edibles and dry up these test buds. 3 Days until harvest of the main cola :) and check out the pictures and videos i added at the end. huge colas! :)

Hey now, so I am happy I finally decided to run a separate tent for seedlings. It was damn near impossible running 2 humidifiers 24x7 to keep everyone happy. I got 1 large humidifier running 24x7 in my new 2x2x3 and even with my spider farmer sf1000, and exhaust running nonstop, I am maintaining 80% rh and she is loving it as is the gorilla girl auto. She is still growing in pro mix seedling organic blend and plain water every 2-3 days. My plan is to transplant her on day 18 to an airpot full of coco coir, then top her on day 21. If all goes well I will top her twice again on day 28ish, and then just lst for about 3-5 days. I think I trained the acid dough auto for far too long, and I will adjust with this one. Planning to just lst the top 4 colas for 3-5 days to keep them from becoming dominant and then just light defoliation throughout the grow if necessary. I also just received a new grow light in the mail from Mars Hydro which I will be testing out for them on this grow once she is ready for flowering. This is a great strain from a great seed company in Canada, 34 street seeds. I have had great results from germination to harvest with their strains and these Cookies are no different. Nice tight nugs, some great tasting hard hitting smoke 💨 They grew easily enough, no disease or weirdness that couldn’t be solved by proper NPK. This would be a great strain for beginners looking for an easy harvest, with some good bud to show. I definitely did not maximize the potential of this strain this go around, but I still have 2 seeds from the 5 and it will make it back to my garden again. ❤️🇨🇦😎💨
