I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

This week was an absolute nightmare. For five days straight, our residual-current circuit breaker (RCD) kept tripping multiple times a day until I finally discovered—regretfully—that the dehumidifier was the cause. As a result, the ladies will now have to go without a dehumidifier for an indefinite period, which is leading to very high humidity levels in the basement. today she got transplanted into bigger pot. Light hits with around 450 PPFD

First week of flower has ended! 😊 Watering stays the same for now as shes stretching, will slowly transition to bloom ferts over the next couple of waterings. Still 6L, ~6PH, 1ml/L roots fading out right now, 5ml/L Grow. No Calmag as she seems to have recovered nicely with the topdress and one time dosage last week.😎 Only thing i do for now is ongoing minor defoliations. She is shaping up to become quite a BUSH! 😍 See you all in the next year! 👻

Plain water feed started. Will feed for a week. Induce 48hrs of darkness then harvest. Buds look look to be around the perfect time for harvest. A little early vs the reccomended harvest date but overall happy with size and trichomes so see no reason not too.

Day 70 she’s frosting up nicely. Her cola structure looks more saliva in nature compared to the last one I grew. She is much larger then the last girl I grew out. I excited to have her around. She’s one of my favorite strains. I wish I could smell her but my nose is so clogged I have no idea why but my face could be pealed off at this point 😂🤷‍♀️🏻

DAY 49 FLOWERING: sorry about the video this week. Very long week and it is hot in the grow room now. My camera is not as good on my phone now so the quality suffers I think. Bare with me on this one. Lol Now the important bit , the plants..... All of the purple monkey look amazing now with their pinks and reds shimmering in the lights. They smell amazing now and all look so ready besides a flush of new pistils all over most of them. #3 is not at that stage and may be harvested any day now I think bitbthebother 2 need another week i feel to hit their best before ripening off. Tine will tell this week. They have been rock solid throughout this heatwave and even with very dry pots issues , have not skipped a beat. Certainly one to grow again. Banana mash are all looking slightly different in how they have dealt with the heat now. A lot of yellowing starting to happen on a couple and the other two have great trich build ups , very different from each other but all the same age ect.. They will need about 2 more weeks i think and expect a 10 week flowering period for them now. They are very sweet smelling now and their shaggy appearance and long spikes are very appealing. The younger crosses are now starting to swell up more too with the exotic? Looking like it will be a good finisher too. It is easy to see the mimosa Lemin genetics in both of them now but no clue in which exotic the ? Is yet.... With all that said , they are feeding g better now the temp has dropped a little and the end is close now growmies. Be safe and healthy

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. So where I live we had a really bad storm it had knocked out my power for a full 24 hrs so I had to give them some extra attention to insure there was no mold or any pest with no fan rotation. Then I also had to put them back on there proper timer to get things back on a roll so far so good they still look and smell amazing wish me luck

I went ahead and transferred this week I also decided to start up my out door project things are looking good clones are Adapting well to new systems

Starting to see nitrogen toxicity in the Solomatic, I'm watering with only PH water since 1 week now

1st photo We did the scrog, it helped us a little more to use as support to tie the branches with threads and manipulate them as we wanted, so we tamed it. but they kept growing as my colleague affirms

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Buds are swelling up nicely, calyxes are plump, and the white pistils are shooting out like little antennas in every direction. Resin production is in full swing – the tops are already frosty, sparkling under the light, and the colas are stacking beautifully along the main stems. 🔸Leaves are looking strong and healthy – deep green with some subtle purple hues showing on the edges. No clawing, no deficiencies, and no signs of overfeeding, maybe she could use a little more nutrition.. Sugar leaves are already coated with trichomes, which is always a good sign that the plant is cruising in the right direction. 🔸This week I kept it simple: only water. I also cranked the SANlight up to 100% to push temps up a bit, and it worked out great. Daytime VPD now sits right around 1.4–1.6 kPa, which is the sweet spot.
