So far my confidence in this next go around is very high! 😃☀️ Putting the seeds straight into a jiffy pellet is the way I am going to proceed with germination going forward. You are just adding extra variables to what should be a simple equation (seed in sterile medium + warmth + moisture = seedling) unlike with the paper towel method, where you need to transfer them to the medium. But this is just one opinion of a rookie grower.

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. The gelato is obviusly a strain that develop large fat colas instead of long colas, she's very resinous. The smell Is pumping out and Is like a breeze that refresh my lungs every time i open the box. She doesnt need too much water. 3 weeks to go.

Mildew was detected in the beginning if the week, the plant sprayed with solution of hydro peroxide to kill spores and then solution of apple vinegar to stop prevent new mold. It worked. I thenk the next eeek will be the last. I decreased 5he concentration of the watering solution, especially in Nitrogen part.

The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. Comenzando semana 7 de estás nenas, aun las mantengo en 1L y hoy le hicimos su primera defoliación masiva, ahora a esperar que se recuperen para hacerle trasplante a maceta de 3,5L. La verdad no eh tenido muchos problema, todo sigue igual siguiendo el mismo orden de nutrientes, bacterias y hongos benéficos una vez por semana, enzimas ahora se las estoy dando día por medio o cada 3 día. Ya logramos sacar los primeros clones de la watermelon, punch y cookie y la thc bomb. la dss aun la tenemos tirando fuerza que no va mal pero no tenia espacio para más clones. Saludos

Day 78- Still haven't got around to staking. Since both plants were watered last night, no more water till harvest on Day 82. Yellow Markers final weight after a week curing is 14.6 grams. I still have some medicine left so this will have atleast another week and half to cure some more. Day 79- I decided against the bamboo stakes. But will have them for future grows. I think I'm just going to ride it out till day 82. Hopefully a buddy comes through to help with trimming or my weekend will be very busy 😂 Day 80- No major adjustments just rotating plants. Day 81- No major adjustments just rotating plants. Tomorrow is Harvest Day! Day 82- Harvest Day! I got started late in the evening and wasn't done till the morning of day 83. I'm beginning to think I should have waited on harvesting Yellow Marker but you live and you learn! These plants smell so damn good. The Runt I may end up getting an eighth to a quarter from. She only had 5 branches which were still pretty shitty but had surprisingly tightened up bud formations. But that's on me, not genetics. But the Blue Marker...her genetics were really on point. I'll atleast get an ounce...maybe two out of her. Both plants have a strong lemony-citrus/piney smell to them. Can't wait to try it out! While trimming I accidentally cut off a few pieces. Instead of tossing it in the trim bin (which is where most of the runt went lol) I left them infront of a fan to quick dry them so I could try them out. I will also be drying these probably 2 days longer before placing them in their jars. The other ones I had to take out multiple times to get the moisture correct. I will be back to post more journals (auto amnesia haze is next) and also post a taste test/harvest results as soon as I'm done drying. Overall for a first timer, I'm impressed on what I've learned and what I've accomplished. Kudos for the insight @NeedsMoreFans As to not waste, the doggo is very happy with her fan leaves as treats. The sugar leaves and trim I will be making into a Green Dragon tincture with 190 proof Everclear. My goal is to be able to take one ml (an average eyedropper) and mix it in with something so I can dose during the day and have it on me, and to not have to worry about taking time to roll a joint or to carry anything on me. Or well...smell like I smoked. Will definitely let you guys know!

Watching this plant grow has been really fun and taught me a lot about taking care of a plant and what to watch out for. Can't wait to see what i can do on my next grow already!

This is a seriously hard plant to take photos of, it's so big and lanky. She's on about a 20 degree angle at this point too, she's very top heavy 🤣 Very impressed with this girl. I almost tossed her out as a seedling due to her mutation; I've included a seedling photo to show the reader how far this plant has come. She has produced very dense and sticky buds with extremely strong aromas. She smells like candy and gas, just like a zkittles female would smell late in flower. It's been an easy grow. I'm expecting about 4 oz of high quality flower after dry and cure stages. I intend to press at least half of my yield with my rosin press. This seems like the perfect strain to make concentrates with due to the high terpene/trichome levels. I just added a photo of the Forbidden Runtz i grew in round 1 directly above round 2 flower for a comparison between the two. Round 1 is the two top buds that have more brown/red tone in colour. Round 2 are the lower two buds...a bigger, danker, and better version of the Forbidden Runtz I grew the first time. Please leave a comment to tell me what you think of the photo comparison.
