Hey everyone! It's week 3 of flower for our Anesia Seeds phenohunt, and things are getting even more exciting in the garden! The plants are thriving, and we're seeing some beautiful development as they enter this crucial phase of their growth.
Nutrient Adjustments 🌱💧
This week, we've introduced Potassium (K) into our nutrient regimen. Potassium is essential during the flowering stage as it helps with the development of buds, enhancing their size, density, and overall quality. Here's the updated nutrient mix we're using:
Regulator: 0.15ml/L
CaMg Boost: 0.25ml/L
Top Booster: 0.3ml/L
P Boost: 0.4ml/L
K Boost: 0.3ml/L
With these adjustments, the TDS has gone up to 500 ppm, and the pH is set at 6.0. The temperature remains steady at 21°C, creating the perfect environment for our girls to flourish.
The Power of Potassium
Introducing K Boost is a game-changer. Potassium plays a vital role in regulating plant metabolism and promoting strong, healthy growth. It aids in:
Bud Development: Enhances the size and density of buds, leading to a more substantial yield.

📋 Grow Diaries: Week 12 Log – The Organic Pivot
The Durban Poison crew DP1, DP4, DP5, and DP6 is officially off the bottle. Running short on liquid vegetative nutrients forced a shift in the garden strategy, and the decision was made to ditch the synthetic/liquid lines completely in favor of a 100% organic, microbe-rich regimen.
The immediate explosion of new vegetative tops proving that these pure sativa genetics thrive when fed naturally on the deck.
The Feeding Regimen: Castings & Kelp
The Top-Dress:** Two days ago, the entire quartet received a heavy top-dressing of pure worm castings across their 25-gallon root zones, providing a slow-release blanket of nitrogen, micronutrients, and humic acids.
Today's Feeding: Followed up today with a rich sea kelp drench. The liquid kelp acts as a perfect complement to the castings, packing the soil with natural cytokinins and auxins to stimulate lateral branching and provide environmental stress protection against the intense high-plains UV and wind.
The Reaction: The response was instantaneous. New tops are aggressively forming across all four canopies, pushing vibrant, healthy green growth from the inner nodes outward.
🌿 Individual Plant Progress & Observations
DP1 (The Lattice Frontier)
Satus: The central shoots have officially reached the lower edge of the bamboo-mounted elastic lattice. She isn't quite tall enough to begin tucking horizontally yet, so the plan is to let her poke through by 2–3 inches before naturally guiding her growth outward to open up the canopy space.
DP4 (The Main-Line Grid)
Status: Symmetrical tops are reaching straight for the sky next to the railing irrigation hub. The kelp feeding today is providing excellent structural flexibility to the main stems, preparing them beautifully to expand into the lower grid squares.
DP6 (The Low-Stress Explosion)
Status:Displaying phenomenal reaction to the new organic diet. Tied down aggressively with twine to the fabric pot handles, the flattened canopy has allowed the worm castings and kelp to force hidden lower nodes straight to the surface, creating an incredibly bushy profile loaded with fresh tops.
DP5 (The Canopy Leader)
Status: Massive, dense, and wide. DP5 is completely capitalizing on the 25-gallon container volume, showing thick stalks and wide fan leaves that are taking full advantage of today's microbial wash.
⚙️ Deck Infrastructure & Logistics
Status:*The entire layout is locked in. The automated watering lines are perfectly dialed to wash the top-dressed nutrients down into the pots, the wheeled dollies are making plant rotation effortless, and the companion marigolds are holding down pest security on the perimeter. The large white mixing bucket is staying active at the ready for the organic tea brews.
Grower's Note: Moving away from liquid nutrients was a forced play, but the sheer speed at which these plants are forming new tops demonstrates that living soil biology is exactly what this Durban Poison lineage wanted. Canopy training will continue as they naturally expand into their spaces next week.
Update 6.6.2026: Recieved a camera to keep a close eye on the girls. 😳💪

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries.
This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow.
First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom.
I put some pictures on the construction here in week one.
The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters.
It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters.
I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps.
I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside.
The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement.
Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement.
I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition.
I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me.

2017-09-22. The girls have recovered well after my massive defoliation. Girl number 1 is now 56 cm tall and number 2 is 35 cm. They have received 6 liters of water and nutrition today.

It seems this little lady is the purple leaved geno type,
And has already started too show her colours,
I really pumped the nutrients this week as you can see,
At the end of this week a stopped giving the plant these addavitves
More roots,
Humic acid,
Growzyime,
Fast bud folar spray,
And big buds,
And have now started too raise the house & Garden A&B soil feed and also there budXL
I also started off early but as a trace amount of there top shooter,
By the end of week I intend on giving them the full recommended of each and only be giving them the house and garden range at full streingh,
I will then wait for the first Amber tricomb then instant flush feeds,
Hopefully I get two weeks from that stage but it is often genetic so as long as I get at least one week and at least 3 feeds of water only then I'm happy

By now I’m sure all of you following along are sick and tired of reading about how large of a plant she is, but DAMN she’s big! She takes up more space by herself than the other 5 plants in the tent with her.
She is moving along nicely up the feed chart, and is now on the mid-bloom step 5 stage. Step 5 is the same as steps 3 & 4, so really nothing new to report.
She took a whole gallon of water mixed with the following:
CALiMAGic - 2 ml
FloraMicro - 4.7 ml
FloraGro - 3.8 ml
FloraBloom - 8.5 ml
Floralicious Plus - 2 ml
Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml
The pH was 6.2, and was not adjusted. The runoff was excellent, and its pH was also 6.2. 🤷♂️
The tent temperature was 86.9F, and humidity was 40%.
I skipped feeding her yesterday because I was tired and not in the mood. Today she looked dry and somewhat flat before I fed her which is normal if I skip a day. However, she’s usually quick to come back to her normal chipper self after getting fed. It looks like I’m going to have to bend a couple more branches in the coming days ahead, but I’ll deal with all of that later.

Skipped another day of feeding, but she didn’t get all limp as she has in the past. I finally just sat down inside the tent today after removing all of the other plants and did some serious defoliation.
In addition to defoliating her, I also cut off a bunch of smaller branches that didn’t look like they were going to produce much. I figure it’s better to cut the shrubs off, so that the actual nodes get all the nutrients in order to produce some fat ass buds!
My previous DarkStar cultivar I grew had some seriously large and dense nuggets, so I’m hoping for the same from her.
She took another gallon of water today mixed with the same nutrients as the 18th, so I won’t list them again here.
The initial pH was 6.3, and I didn’t adjust it. She had plenty of runoff, and the runoff pH was 6.2.
The tent was 84.2F, and the humidity was 52%.
Stella was practically naked when I finished with her today, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she looks tomorrow. I’ve cleared out all the clutter, and I was also able to raise the light up a few more inches today using some other bands to connect it to the top of the tents frame. She is about 10 inches below the light now, but she still has a couple long branches that are within 6 inches of the light. It’s still better than it was earlier today when some of the buds were above the light.
My grow room is doing great right now, and I hope all of yours are as well.

I’ve been a neglectful grower as of late! I was busy outside the house yesterday, and didn’t have time to feed my girls. They all looked okay today, except Stella. I defoliated her to the extreme the other day, so she looks dryer than usual.
However, she is a wonderfully strong cultivar which can withstand a lot of issues; such as high heat, as well as long periods without water. But she does have her limits to which I don’t want to find out.
She took a whole gallon today with plenty of runoff. She received the following nutrients:
CALiMAGic - 2 ml
FloraMicro - 4.7 ml
FloraGro - 3.8 ml
FloraBloom - 8.5 ml
Floralicious Plus - 2ml
Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml
The initial pH was 6.3, and was not adjusted.
Her runoff pH was 6.2, which is excellent! The tent temperature was 85F, with 51% humidity.
Stella is mainly bud nodes at this point, and all of them are just starting to fatten up. I love this part of the grow! Watching something turn from nothing, to something amazing is awesome!

i am keeping a ph of 6.3 / 6.5

Total days above ground: 35
Lazy update this week. Procrastination mode is on. No individual plant photos this week. I don't even have a plant map, So, I'm not sure what each plant is by location at this moment. I need to do some canopy management tonight, but fuck it. I'll put it off until tomorrow because I like to self-sabotage. They'll get a little less time to recover than normal heading into flower. They are healthy and happy, so I doubt there will be any repercussions.
Second humidifier is still tied up in the drying area, so VPD continues to be less-than-ideal. By the time I flip to flower, the climate will be in a much better place. I'll have to cut some corners and get a little creative to mitigate the effects of a suboptimal vege phase.
Things will turn out fine, but inevitably fall a bit short of expectations. I'll selectively prune lower axilla and top tomorrow but leave a couple opportunities for cuttings. Hopefully, there's enough growth for a proper clone by flip to flower (day 40). A second breeding cycle may or may not happen.

Final weeks are here! The up coming week will be her last feeding with nutes. Florakleen will come next followed by ph’d water and possibly a day or two of blackout befor harvesting.

Welcome to week 1 of my New Diary to Rule Them All!!!
Here's the line up:
2 - CBD Medi Kush by Spliff Seeds
3 - DinaMed CBD+ by DinaFem
1 - Critical+ by DinaFem
3 - Cream & Cheese CBD by Seedsman
7 - Cherry Blossom CBD Hemp by Elevator Supply Co
The 2 CBD Medi Kush plants and 2 of the DinaMed CBD+'s were all started from seed at the same time. All others are clones taken from cuttings from the plants I currently have in flower (the flowering plants are in the video).
So the cuttings and seedlings were in my humidity for roughly a month. The first round of cuttings didn't do so well, so I took some more cuttings later when the plants were further into flower. A couple of the cuttings I took further into flower look amazingly good now, tons of nodes, branches, etc. Looking like a little bush. Once all surviving clones/seedlings were healthy enough I transplanted from dixie cups to small pots (I guess around 1 litre). They were transplanted into soil I had been composting and turning for 3-4 weeks. They really responded well to the transplanting and the new soil. Noticeable growth in 48 hours.
My plan this grow is to go organic (or as organic as possible). While the soil was composting I added old fan leaves to the mix as well as Recharge, Mr B's Green Trees 'Growth', and Jobe's Organic granular fertilizer. I know, I know, everyone says don't use time release nutes with cannabis. BUT, The Rev said it was fine in his "True Living Organics" book. He actually recommends putting spikes in the flowering pots prior to transplant (I'm planning on trying that too). Recharge and Mr B's Green Trees don't claim to be organic specifically for whatever reason, but the ingredients include pretty much everything The Rev recommends adding to composting soil. Plus I love Recharge, that stuff is great! Organic or not I'll be using Recharge along the way.
Here's the setup... First of all, I'll let you know my grow area is in my attic. The previous owners finished the attic with walls lights and even carpeting, but for some reason kept the folding attic stairs. Its pretty a pretty good space, we divide the attic in half. One side for my plants, they other for attic type storage. I have 2 2x4 tents and a larger flowering area (10x12'ish). One of the tents I use for drying only, the other is where I have these babies growing. The babies are currently under a single Viparspectra V300 300W LED. I'm having really good results with Viparspectra LED's. Bang for the buck, Viparspectra is hard to beat. I have a 2nd 300W Viparspectra which is a R300 (more reds) which is better for flowering. I may stick the R300 in the tent as well at some point, but for now the single V300 is doing a great job.
In the flowering area I'm running 1000W HPS. The HPS has been kicking ass with the plants in flower now and I'm expecting more of the same with these girls when they are ready for the big time.
Side note: I'm running a separate diary for the Spliff Seeds CBD Medi Kush. In that diary I'm just going to focus on the CBD Medi Kush specifically. But I did start the CBD Medi Kush and DinaMed CBD+ seeds at exactly the same time. So, in this diary I will do some comparisons and contrasts between the 2 strains as they grow. So far the DinaMed is taller, but the CBD Medi Kush has beautifully stacked node structure. This looks like its going to be a win-win.
I'm also planning on doing an autoflower challenge soon. I want to try 2 plants in the flower room under 12/12 1000W HPS from seed to harvest and 2 other plants in my veg tent under 18/6 300W LED then see what the results are. I have the seeds picked out that I plan on using, but I'll keep that quiet for now in case I change my mind.

Week 5 everything was on par with week 4 however, girl #1 seemed to start slowly pulling away from girl number #2. They were almost the same height week 4 but towards the end of week 5 girl #1 had a noticeable height difference with girl #2.
Also it seems I have 2 different Phenos. Girl #1 looks at the end of week 5 as if she is starting to move towards flowering. While girl #2 is just getting bushy and not very much height.
I did do some defoliation of the big fan leaves on each girl and any leafs blocking the light of potential budsites. also I removed the more undeveloped lowers. Hopefully I didn’t stress them out too much removing as much as I did.
I really didn’t feed them to to much This week. They are recovering from very mild nute burn from week 4. Also I think they grew closer to where i had the light so I raised the lights up a few more inches. I barley turned the lights power up that’s why it’s been a littler warmer than usual.

I think the Chocobang needs couple days more then the rest but it's going great there at a size that adding extra nutrients is waste and only making flushing take longer so starting to lower all nutrients and preparing for last week exited times
