Day 99: New Week We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

After deciding to start this new growing journey, I chose to germinate a Banana Purple Punch seed from Fast Buds. This particular strain caught my attention with its unique characteristics, and I couldn't resist giving it a try. I began by using a hydrogen peroxide water solution to germinate the seed, which helps oxygenate the water and prevent harmful pathogens. After about 36 hours, the seed cracked open, revealing the first signs of life. With a taproot emerging, I carefully transplanted the sprouted seed into a 20L airpot, ensuring enough room for the roots to breathe and grow freely. This marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure, nurturing this intriguing strain to its full potential.🌱💚 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ One of my cannabis seedlings unfortunately didn’t survive in the pot....😭 Now, I’m trying again with two more seeds of the same strain, but I’ve changed my approach. Once they've successfully sprouted, I transfer them into coco tablets. There, they’ll remain until they’ve developed healthy roots before being moved to their final growing environment. I’m hopeful that this method will help me handle the early phase of the cannabis plants more successfully, and I’m excited to see how things turn out.💚💚

Week Two: The seedlings received their first and second feedings of Innovating Plant Products. Along with one just a plain watering. (Feed / Feed / Water). The first feeding was on 5/21 of 900 ppm of the veg nutrient line. The pH was 6.3 The second feeding was on 5/24 of 700 ppm of the veg nutrient line. The was 6.4 After assessing the first feeding it was felt the PPM was a bit high for their first feeding. We could have easily done this in reverse order. On 5/26 the plants were given just plain water to finish out their week. One of the seedlings appeared to be a bit deformed and has since been tossed. This one seed didn't germinate well, but we thought we would give it go. Assessing the seedling we simply opted to pull it.

Day #31: As I was a little bit busy with other things the last few days, I didn't have the time to update my diarie on day #30. Tuesday I got a nice surprise delivered from Lientec LED lights, they sent me three led strips as addition for my growroom. Two led strips have 660nm red leds an one led strip has 385-405nm UVA leds on it. Which means in blooming phase I can add more red light, which is positive for bud development. But also the UVA light is positive for THC development. Research has found out that UVA led light, in the right wavelength, is capable if uplifting the THC development with max 5%. That is in very optimized conditions. If all goes well a little bit, I might be investing in two more led bars with red and UVA light in the future... In the meantime the little buds are growing nicely, all plants show signs of good growth, so this week I will be slowly adding some bloom nutrients towards the end of the week. In week 6 I want to start with only bloom nutrients beside the FloraMicro nutrients. Also I'm adding CalMag once a week... Day #33: I added some FloraBloom nutrients, but forgot to mention last update. I'm going to change slowly from only FloraGrow as second nutrient, to FloraBloom as second nutrient next to FloraMicro. This weekend, I'm going to change the Fan, because the fan I'm using right now isn't capable of keeping temperature as I like it. But further one, everything is going very good. Flowers are growing pretty nice, I think the extra red LED light is doing it's job perfectly. After this week, I still got about five weeks to go until harvest. UVA light will be added slowly around the end of week 7. I need to build that up slowly, because the plants are not used to the UV light and if I start with 18 hours UV light right away, they probably will get overstressed and my harvest will be killed... All electric has been reset, so I can use an extra timer within the 18 hours of light for the UVA led strip. Day #35: I decided to start using the UVA light tomorrow, at the start of week 6. Slowly building up the hours of usage. First days I will be adding 1 hour ov UVA light, and then I will start multiplying the hours, until I'm at 12 hours a day. The plants are flowering pretty well in the meantime, next week I will be adding more bloom nutrients and less grow nutrients, but I will still be adding some grow nutrients, to make sure some nutrients still will be available for the plants. Als I will be starting to add Silicium once a week, as the temperature is getting a bit high and the new fan is still not here... So to avoid heat stress, Silicium will be added onze a week until the new fan will get temperature as I want it to be...

Hey all On the 4th week, they are starting to show signs of flowering, next week will go full on bloom nut. Didn't increase ppm this week because some yellow spots appeared on a few leafes and didn't want to risk overfert. Thay are still adapting good to my low skill training 😂 Also added some wannabe artistic pictures, just because I love to spend time just watching them 😍

Nice progress this week with the left plant. The right one is showing some deficiencies on some leafs. A few bugs were also spotted, nothing major but I placed a couple of sticky traps. The smell inside the box has increased quite a bit, but still no smell outside.

The air stone clogging up a week and some ago stopped this plant in its tracks when rot set in. Another lesson learned to change air stone mid way in grow. Especially for photoperiods. Looking really good. Not super stocked on the structure of the buds themselves but can’t complain about anything else. Seeing lots of foxtailing in the GD and GG but not at all in the other two - which is interesting. My guess is that if I had thinned the plants much more aggressively I would be seeing more of the photogenic large colas that I was after. Next time!

Did some defoliation this week, not much but enough to create some airflow and unblock a few bud sites. Readjusted my DIY “floating” to take up some of the stretch that had gotten out of control, ❤️ that I can do that! The frost is real for this strain OMG, week 3 and it’s already as frosty as some of the Autoflower’s I have grown. Temps have been climbing here and there, we’re getting a lot of dry heat so that’s the plus at least, not a lot of humidity at the moment. I’m really wishing I had taken clones from these girls because I’m sure they are going to be insane if they look this good at week 3. 🇨🇦👊❤️

16.6.25: Today is Harvest Day! Well this has certainly been a fun one! Really pleased with how she turned out, when I cut her down, it was actually heavy. I'll be interested to see what we yielded here! I did take all of the fan leaves off and some of the sugar leaves too. Just to make the trimming easier, and also help prevent mould during the drying process. The trichomes were very hard for me to tell, but they have quite a lot of amber. So I may have grown some sleeping potion. We will soon find out I guess! 😅 I decided to leave the plant longer than I usually would, I did this to see the difference in effects. This is a low THC strain, so in theory shouldn't produce a couch lock effect. So if it does, it will give me a better idea of the harvest windows. Obama runtz x gas tax they both are a little taller than all the seedlings as I'm smoking some.of the flower from last grow I'm seeing the more wild plants like this plants mother sister they smoke great but these 2 seedlings have a look to their leaves like some of the wild from the face off og from the gas tax Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!
