The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!

Defoliation large leaves light 12/12 💪

Startet the germination of this plants on 07.05.2018. 4 of 5 Royyal Gorilla Auto seeds germinated and are growing well. They are staying in my garden and i hope that they will get more and more sun this coming week. 1 of 4 is quit strong , and ist already frosty and has good buds , hope they will get big and fat. the other 3 plants are a bit slower and one of them is a bit small but bushy. first "outdoor" grow for me in a not soo sunny area.

9th Week Report 12/12/19 - 19/12/19 In photos CMXL is on the left and LSD on the right 12/12/19 Unfortunately humidity at 80% and since is too high from next week I will try to give them more aeration. Hope there won't be mold. Changed solution and raised its strength to 90% and unlikely the last change I didn't added a small quantity (0.5/L) of "grow" nutrient as both are in full flowering 13/12/19 CMXL got a bigger defoliation and now you can see even more bud sites! 😁 Just waiting for her ;) Looking to LSD I guess next week we probably will be ready to harvest. As you can see she almost has no more space, CMXL is giant (and beautiful) and she is starting to cover LSD, but hopefully LSD will be harvested soon and consequently CMXL will have all the space she needs. CMXL was defoliated every couple of days, the quantity of leaves that were removed during every defoliation session is more or less like in the photo uploaded. However it looks like CMXL is not anymore stretching and just fattening up, so from the next week will get light defoliation just when needed (if she will cover everything again like last week probably will get one more last stronger defoliation). Another run started - 1 Purple Kush Auto from Oasis Genetics and 1 Pineapple Express Auto from Barney's Farm. Wet, single sheet paper towel germination method has been 100% successful thus far and once again it did not fail. For this auto run started them off in Jiffy Pellets and then in solo cups before planting into final pot. Was feeding 100ml tap water Ph between 6.0 - 6.1 each every day once in solo cups. Realized during this week both lights were not necessary and therefore only ran one SF2000.

19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. This consists of the following substrate and dry amendments: ♡ 60% Canna coco ♡ 20% Worm castings ♡ 15 % Perlite The remaining 5% consists of the following dry amendments;- ♡ 10g Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1 Tsp RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 3 Tsp Vitalink Bat guano ♡ 4 Tsp Diatomaceous earth ♡ 8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon ♡ 10g Green Leaf Bud Booster PK booster. ♡ 3 Tsp Ecothrive Life Cycle. •Worm castings for some all round nutrition. •Cinnamon for mildew and bug repellent. •Canna coco base substrate. •Perlite for adding oxygen to the root and soil system. •Green Leaf Bud Booster PK Booster for blooming. End of week 1. All 3 plants have their true leaves. The stems seem to be developing nicely but I was hoping for more leaf development. I still need to create more humidity. My exhaust fan still vents too much of it. I added a second camera and I hope to start adding some time lapse videos. Overall a good week! Still trying to learn my environment and tweak where I can!

D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg. She is now 18 cm tall, and I'll start doing some low-stress training this week. I trimmed the cover crop today as it was a bit all over the place. I gave her around 1.2-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress! D31 - Today, I finally got around to doing some low-stress training. I should have done it ages ago, and I don't even have a good reason for not having done it, but hey, better late than never. Right? D32 - She is bouncing back nicely from the training yesterday. Starting to smell a bit so I got the active carbon filter installed. D34 - The last day in the fourth week of veg and the final day as she is in flower now. I did some more LST, as well as defoliation and cover crop trim to increase airflow.

Alweer het einde van week 3 bereikt zonder problemen. Na de snoei aan het begin van de week, hadden de dames zich de volgende alweer hersteld en waren de topjes alweer fors groter. Ik ben echt tevreden over de genetica van de Powerplants. Ze drinken inmiddels ook veel meer bij de 0,5 liter per dag staan de potten de dag eropgewoon weer droog! De voeding gaat naaar e.c. 1.8 en ik voeg op iedere 10 liter ook 10 ml (Fmax) xl cell bij. Ik ben benieuwd of er mensen ervaring hebben met een hogere dosering? Antwoorden graag in de comments! Ik had nog wat spiegeltjes over en die heb ik maar aan het cob frame bevestigd om het strooilicht terug te kaatsen. Baad het niet, dan schaad het niet zeg maar. Ook de ventilatie een upgrade gegeven met een grote zwenk ventilator aan het plafond. Ik ga denk ik ook maat wat roof wantsen aanschaffen als pestcontrol, voordat ik last krijg van ongenodigde bezoekers!

Came in well and has officially sprouted! I put it in soil and the hanging pot I'll be using for this grow. It's a small ~.5 or less gallon pot (tbh not 100% sure), thay I'm reusing from a plant I got at a nursery a while back. I thought it'd be neat to try and grow a hanging weed plant so now here we go! Will post when the sprout comes out

Growing slowly, growing organic. Lights are still on 12/12 due to my first grow that's still finishing up can't wait to switch the light schedule to 18/6 to see the growth

Hello fellow growers, I harvested my plant on Day 68 of the flowering stage. The buds are now hung up and drying in an environment with a relative humidity (RH) of 55-60% and temperatures ranging from 18°C to 21°C, I've set up two fans to keep the air moving gently around the drying space. Today marks Day 6 of drying, and I'm aiming for a nice, slow dry to preserve the quality of the buds, followed by a dry trim. Reflecting on this grow, I can see areas where I could have improved, but considering it's my first time, I believe I've done a commendable job. There are quite a few larfy buds underneath, but the top buds, which were closest to the light, turned out great. I initially thought I had nailed the training techniques, but as soon as I flipped her into the flowering stage, she got out of control. This experience has taught me the importance of being even more disciplined with my training methods in future grows. Overall, I'm thrilled with the outcome and have learned valuable lessons for my next run. Can't wait to see how these buds turn out after curing!
