Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Hello Growmies, We have reached week 16 with our Epic Buzz plants, marking a significant moment in their growth journey. This week, Epic Buzz Pheno #3 showcased its beautiful floral maturity before it was harvested. The vibrant, frost-laden buds filled the tent with a sweet and pungent aroma, highlighting the strain's complex terpene profile. This pheno was particularly lush, sporting richly colored foliage and trichome-packed buds that are a testament to the careful nurturing it received throughout its lifecycle. Pheno #3 was harvested just after these last photos were taken, with a final wet weight of approximately 500 grams. The intricacies in the colors and textures of the buds were remarkable, showing hints of purple amidst the green, under a thick coat of crystalline trichomes. As for Pheno #1 and #2, they remain in the flowering stage, developing their profiles and will soon follow in #3’s footsteps to complete their cycle. We look forward to updating the final harvest weight once these remaining phenos have been processed. This stage is crucial as we observe the subtle differences between each pheno, helping in our ongoing efforts to optimize growth conditions and pheno selection for future cycles. I wish I could've taken more picture this week and previous week but I just could'nt remember to do it. Feeling nervous, but wierdly excited. Most promising strains for big yields are Super Silver and Tangie. Girl Scout Cookies being an autoflower already started to flower, wish it would have taken more time on veg to get bigger but it is what it is. Now starting flower. 12/12 cycle. 9 weeks

Nice growth come in this week, with a week microbial tea given along side very small amounts of insect frass and alfalfa. Plant was just topped now for the first time, on day 26.

Alright, another week. Ladies looking well. Defoliated the Sugar Mama and Fastberry mid-week they took it well. Ran out of Neem Oil last week and noticed a couple of small bugs flying around, no idea what they are so ordered some more neem oil and some stickies. The other girls are all doing well, they are drinking much less than usual, I had a bunch of alfalfa seeds lying around so sprinkled them around some of the plants. Upped the feed as they seemed to need it. EC is now going from a base of .6 to 2.4

Week 2 - the growth is very good and I can see a healthy root development at the bottom. I watered twice this week - a little dryback in the first weeks should be good to promote roots. DLI 20 / EC 1.2

It was such a nice experience for me with this strain, first time ever growing her, she had a little bit of long internodes and thought she wasn't gonna be very productive, however the nuggets are so so hard and compact and the quality is just brutal, doesn't even look like she's s been outdoor grown, I love this strain for the rare strong smell like very sweet and floral with that strange diesel notes mix the sweet tones, I would love be growing her my whole life, I definitely will keep growing this lady FOR SURE!. thank you so much and hope you guys enjoy! 💎🙏🔝💚

Giorno 50 Di Archive Banck già sapevo ma di Grateful Seeds no. Sono italiano e sono italiani anche loro. Hanno girato il mondo cercando strain per lavorare soprattutto sui terpeni.Hanno lavorato 2 anni e mezzo con le piante Zkittlez per trovare le giuste proprietà organolettiche. Incrociano piante di In House Genetics (26mm) e la Strawberry Banana(dna genetics). Appena ho sentito la loro intervista mi sono comprato tutto quello che era disponibile (Zhead, blessed by banana, Orange groovye, frosted madness, guava cake, blue javaz). Non voglio condizionare nessuno ma lentamente mi sto rendendo conto che il 90% di banche semi qua su Grow Diares non sono famose per nessuno strain e soprattutto hanno gli stessi menù da 20 anni se non di più. Cercate il vostro incrocio da una banca semi che in casa ha i cloni. Non comprate le prime cose con il nome che tanto va di moda in questo momento (es Zkittlez, Mimosa, Gorilla Glue ect) perché sono semplicemente nomi inventati e fumate una cosa che non è assolutamente quella!!! Unfortunately, I've let the Chaos Cake become too dry due to the fungus gnats, I had watered it too much, and afterwards, I just got a huge increase in the amount of fungus gnats. So, I thought it was best to let it dry out for a while. I think, however, I might have left it a little bit too long because it was incredibly dry. So when I watered it, it actually made the plant fall over. So I've had to prop it up with some metal garden pegs. Hopefully, she'll rectify herself if I make sure that the medium is properly. Watered. Other than that, the plant is doing well. Hopefully, she'll start becoming a little bit more sturdy next week! 😅 I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 28.9.25: I watered with 1.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 Sea K .5TSP 💜 Biosys .5TSP PH: 6.2 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Did a reservoir change. Found a bunch of seeds at the top buds, did not find any nanners or balls, most likely somewhere hidden in the bud or non at all and still seeds. The other plant in the same tent does not have a single seed on it. Values are average of the day.
