Trying to go back and see everything I did and I’m pretty sure it was the two nights of not having a heater down in the basement I live in Ohio. It gets really cold at night and then switching environments from veg tent to flower tent the combination of me over feeding and all of those I think is what has stunted her, going to give her another couple days to see if she jumps out of it 🔥💯

Skipped a week in my journal due to travels. Had my neighbor water my plants. Having some minor early deficiencies with my photoperiod plants (particularly the chem brulee)... so I decided to go ahead and give everything a solid feeding of Foop Bloom 1, 2 and Sweetener. This is their first ever bottled feeding. Have been running on supersoil and a prayer. Also top dressed everything and mulched with rice straw to help with the soil drying out a bit too quickly. Leaves have been yellowing on all three. Mostly relegated to the interior of the plants. Chem Brulee is looking a bit too yellow overall, as well. French Macaron is a 66in. Chem Brulee is 56in. Pineapple Meatball is 45in. I have a sneaking suspicion that my neighbor didn't water them quite enough while I was gone. Will probably continue with the Foop feedings... probably at least once per week. Don't want to overdo it. Also top dressed with my flowering top dress mix and mulched all plants with a thin layer of rice straw. 8/4 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap 8/5 Sprayed with Gravenstein Apple FFJ and OHN 8/6 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap (this will likely be the last time I spray with Neem Oil, as I don't want residual oils as buds start swelling. Also fed 1/4 strength FOOP to ensure we head off any deficiencies.

I started harvesting 6 days ago. I'll finish it tomorrow. I was in trim jail Aaaaalllllll day today. I started at 5:30am and finish putting the last label on the jars at 6:30pm. I did, however, take a 1 hour break for lunch. The results for Sept 21: Orange Sherbet FF - 188.43 grams, 6.73oz (2 plants) Gorilla Cookies FF - 86.97 grams, 3.1oz The results for Sept 27: Orange Sherbert FF - 104.5 grams, 3.73 oz (2 plants) One more quick trim day to go. The results for Oct. 3: Gorilla Cookies FF - 36.28 grams, 1.3 oz Not including all of the little popcorn buds I chopped up and threw into the trim, it's 14.86 oz. That's it for this run. Take care, gromies!!

🌸 Week 1 – Flowering Stage Strain: Permanent Marker (Zamnesia Seeds) Project: Dognabis Cup Example Grow 🌍 ⸻ 💚 Transition Into Flower The girls wasted no time: at ~90 cm tall, they’re stretching beautifully, branching with symmetry, and already showing early pistils by the end of the week. Both phenos (PM#1 and PM#2) are very close in appearance, but Pheno #1 is leading slightly in height (about 5 cm taller), while PM#2 is equally vigorous and balanced. This uniformity is exciting, strong genetics with consistency across the phenos. The kind of stability you want in a Cup. ⸻ 📸 Studio Session Took them out for a proper photo shoot with the Sony 📷. Leaves shining, structure elegant, early flower sites beginning to peek through. Even filmed a few videos to capture this milestone. They’re looking like queens, and it’s a joy to document every step. ⸻ 💧 Feeding – Adjustments for Flower We’ve officially adjusted the recipe to start the flowering journey: • ❌ Start Booster – removed • ✅ Top Booster – added at 0.25 ml/L • ❌ All-in-One Liquid – paused (the All-in-One Pellets + pre-mixed recipe in the soil are now fully active and doing the job beautifully) • ✅ CalMag Boost – continued • ✅ Regulator – continued • pH: ~6.1 • Feed EC: ~0.6 This gentle transition sets the base for flower, without overwhelming them. ⸻ 🍃 Notes & Observations Some leaf burn spots appeared this week, nothing major. Likely from wind stress with the fan blowing directly on them. Honest note: it’s part of the process, and we show the good and the less-than-perfect. Overall, the plants are thriving, strong, and unfazed by small imperfections. ⸻ 🌱 From Seed to Here – Quick Recap • Week 1–2: Germination & early veg, bottom-fed by hand • Week 3: Transplant to 11L Zamnesia fabric pots, roots thriving, super soil mixed with Aptus Holland products (MycorMix, All-in-One Pellets, Substrate Buffer Powder) • Week 4 Veg: Explosive growth, steady feeding, compact structure, preparing for flip • Week 1 Flower (now): ~90 cm tall, branching beautifully, pistils showing, first signs of floral transition ⸻ 🎓 Looking Ahead • Expect stretch to continue through the next 1–2 weeks • Bud sites will begin stacking, pistils multiplying • Watch closely for balance in nutrition, especially with Top Booster now active • AC unit arriving soon will help stabilize temps (currently peaking ~31°C) ⸻ 👑 Genetics & The Cup Permanent Marker is more than just a strain, it’s a modern heavyweight with a strong pedigree (Biscotti x Jealousy x Sherb Bx). These genetics are already proving themselves with vigor, balance, and beauty. As the organizer Dognabis Cup, it’s a privilege to showcase them here. A huge thank you to Zamnesia for providing the seeds, and to all the sponsors who support this journey. Week 1 Flower – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Lights Flipped, Ride Ascending The ride has shifted — welcome to Week 1 of Flower for the Roller Coster Haze girls. We’ve officially flipped the lights to 11 hours on / 13 hours off, marking the start of their journey into bloom. While they’re not showing any floral signs just yet (no pistils or preflowers), this moment is crucial, it’s the beginning of the shift, and everything that follows builds from here. ⸻ Why 11/13 Light Cycle? Most growers run 12/12 — and while that’s great for many strains, we’ve chosen 11/13 for a specific reason: 🌒 Shortening the light period can help trigger earlier flowering and more aggressive hormonal shifts, particularly in sativa-dominant or haze genetics like these. 🌘 In nature, light hours gradually decrease, and this slightly shorter photoperiod mimics late-season sun, signaling to the plant that it’s time to reproduce. In our experience, this encourages a quicker transition into flower, sometimes with denser stacking and better resin development down the line. The trade-off? Slightly less daily photosynthesis, but with the right lighting power and nutrition, it more than balances out. ⸻ Nutrient Shift – From Start to Top As we flip into flower, we’ve also transitioned our nutrient formula to support the shift in energy: • Removed: • Aptus Start Booster – previously used to support early-stage root development and vegetative vigor. • Introduced: • Aptus Top Booster – same application rate (0.25 ml/L), but designed to stimulate early flower development, improve transition timing, and lay the groundwork for bloom stacking. Why this change? Because the hormonal shift has begun. We’re no longer supporting root initiation, now we’re priming the plant for floral identity, helping her internal systems prepare for the stretch, calyx development, and bloom site stacking. Our base feed remains: • Regulator – 0.25 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L • Top Booster – 0.25 ml/L ⸻ Growth & Structure Update These girls are branching like mad, spreading their wings and showing incredible vegetative structure just before stretch kicks in. Both phenotypes are looking stunning: • Pheno #2 & Pheno #3 • ~55 cm in height • Both with 8+ nodes, symmetrical branching, and healthy internode spacing. • Deep green leaves, upright posture, and zero signs of stress or deficiency. We’re expecting these girls to stretch considerably in the coming weeks, and we’re ready for the ride. ⸻ Environmental Snapshot – The Summer Stretch Begins Despite high temps, the girls are thriving. Here’s a readout of current conditions: • PPFD: 760 µmol/m²/s – measured via TrolMaster MBS PAR sensor, ensuring accurate canopy-level intensity. • Temperature: 31°C • Humidity: 50% • VPD: 2.23 kPa – yes, on the high side, but manageable for the moment. • CO₂: 632 ppm We’re aware that VPD is a touch aggressive, and we’re standing by for the arrival of the new AC unit to bring that back into optimal range. Still, the girls are handling it like champions, no curl, no droop, just upward movement and new growth. ⸻ Lights & Control Ecosystem Our lighting and environmental control setup continues to perform beautifully: • ThinkGrow Model One LEDs • Future of Grow LEDs • TrolMaster Tent-X Controller – managing: • CO₂ • Temp & Humidity • PPFD • Device sync • Spider Farmer GGS Controller for extraction fans • Dual 6” exhaust systems with carbon filters • One 6” filtered intake • All airflow dynamically managed via AeroFan + Spider Farmer extraction, allowing clean in/out cycles, keeping the air fresh and responsive. This is a precision ecosystem, designed to respond, not just run. ⸻ Final Thoughts – Lifting Off This may be Week 1 Flower, but it’s really the moment of lift-off. The girls are still pre-flower, yes but this is the space where momentum builds, energy collects, and the transformation begins. We’re shifting from vegetative growth into reproductive focus — and if this week’s energy is any sign, we’re in for a glorious bloom phase. The Roller Coster Haze journey continues , and it’s gaining speed. Day 64 my baby is going really well by now, she s been running fast until now and I think that’s enough with fertiliser. From today o start my flush, I will give today my last dose of regulator and from next irrigation just on controlled water until the end of maturation, I want this baby to eat everything . day 65 started flushing. ph controlled water at 6.0 i think 20 more days at max before m Day 68 First check with micro today. The baby looks already milky and amber on the top buds but the rest of the plant is still transparent. I’ll wait at least until this weekend for a re check maybe I’ll cut her in two rounds. As I be been watching a lot with micro I noticed so many dust and other stuff on the buds so I think I’ll wash her in water. Today watered ph 6. Let’s see! 🌱🔥🌱🔥🌱🔥🔥

It’s been raining a lot this past couple weeks. The past 4 days I’ve been keeping her out of the rain, allowing her to dry up. Watching her do some last minute ripening. Lots of once clear sections have clouded up nicely. I’ve determined to chop her today, the last day of her life. Day 103 and 65 of those days were flowering. The last two weeks consisted of foxtail development instead of bud density. She has completely foxtailed every bud. Hard to see on the plant, but once it’s chopped and trimmed, the bizarre structure will be revealed. Smells good though. Smells like a cross between a green apple candy and the sweet subtleties of fresh fertile earth, with an undertone of a classic fresh cannabis smell. Light and refreshing on the nose.

This amnesia is the first auto I haven’t stalled out with over watering or nutrients and I’ve learned that less is indeed more with them. For whatever reason it seems like they get nutrient build up if you don’t watch them closely and at this point she seems happier with 1/2 or even 1/4 nutes or less. I’m getting away from soil on autos for that reason and I’m not 100% sold on fox farms ocean harvest late in the game for any plant as it changes and it makes life harder in my experience even with photos. This lady is starting to really stack up and do her thing and it’s definitely my favorite auto to date.

6th week of flowering. The flowers are almost fully formed, they just need to fatten up and share. It's noticeable that they're drinking a lot of water and also that it's hotter than the previous months, so it evaporates faster.
