Fattening up. Smelling super fruity and swinging. Added support to the bigger branches. Over the past 3 weeks the flowers have just fattened up and keep getting bigger!

Took a while to get there but OMG little note quick! So I started her in a 1 litre pot and stuck her on top of a 1.5L Pepsi bottle with the top chopped off! And she yielded heavily for that amount of soil a whopping! 224.63 wet weight so can’t wait to see what she holds dry because them buds were like boulders! So dense! I will be back to document her dry weight and then a couple of weeks later with the update on the smoke report! But I know it’s going to be so loud! She has deep pungent aromas like gassy and sweet! She’s going to be a powerhouse! She was a little over as today a banana developed but that just tells me “well done” timing just right! She’s a little long for my taste of auto but I do suggest anyone grow her she’s amazing! In the end!

Woche 6 - Übergang zur Blütephase und erste Herausforderungen Die sechste Woche markierte den Übergang von der Vegetations- in die Blütephase. Bis zum Wochenende wurde weiterhin der Terra Vega Dünger verwendet, mit einem Verhältnis von 30 ml pro 10 Liter Wasser. Am Samstag, dem ersten Tag der Blütephase, wurde jedoch deutlich, dass ein Wechsel auf den Blütedünger nötig war. Leider führte die verspätete Umstellung auf die Canna Terra Bloom Linie zu einem leichten Nährstoffmangel, der sich in den ersten Tagen der Blüte zeigte. Anfang der ersten vollen Blütewoche wurde dies korrigiert, indem vollständig auf Canna Bloom umgestellt wurde. Die pH- und EC-Werte blieben stabil und optimal eingestellt. Die Temperaturen stiegen minimal an, blieben jedoch bei angenehmen 26 Grad. Mit Beginn der Blütephase startete der sogenannte Stretch, und die Pflanzen legten beeindruckende 2,5 cm pro Tag zu. Während dieser Woche wurden die ersten unteren Blätter entfernt – ein leichtes Lollipopping, um die Energie auf die oberen Bereiche zu konzentrieren. Die entfernten Blätter wurden getrocknet und sogar laminiert, um den Fortschritt dieses besonderen Grows festzuhalten. Es wurden ebenfalls einige kleinere Zweige und Blätter im unteren Bereich entfernt, um die Belüftung zu verbessern. Das eigentliche, umfassendere Lollipopping wird jedoch erst in zwei bis drei Wochen erfolgen. Trotz des anfänglichen Mangels aufgrund der zu späten Umstellung des Düngers blieben die Pflanzen insgesamt kräftig, gesund und wuchsen konstant weiter. Der Übergang in die Blütephase verlief somit erfolgreich, und die Pflanzen zeigten weiterhin ihr beeindruckendes Potenzial. ENGLISH Week 6 - Transition to Flowering and Initial Challenges The sixth week marked the transition from the vegetative to the flowering phase. Until the weekend, the Terra Vega fertilizer was still used at a ratio of 30 ml per 10 liters of water. On Saturday, the first day of flowering, it became clear that switching to the flowering fertilizer was necessary. Unfortunately, the late transition to the Canna Terra Bloom line caused a slight nutrient deficiency that appeared in the first few days of flowering. This was corrected at the beginning of the first full flowering week by fully switching to Canna Bloom. The pH and EC levels remained stable and optimally adjusted. Temperatures increased slightly but stayed at a comfortable 26 degrees. With the start of the flowering phase, the stretch began, with the plants growing an impressive 2.5 cm per day. During this week, the first lower leaves were removed—a light lollipopping to focus the energy on the upper parts. The removed leaves were dried and even laminated to document the progress of this unique grow. Some smaller branches and leaves were also removed from the lower areas to improve ventilation. However, the main lollipopping will take place in about two to three weeks. Despite the initial deficiency due to the late fertilizer switch, the plants remained overall strong, healthy, and continued to grow beautifully. The transition to the flowering phase was successful, and the plants continued to showcase their impressive potential.

*** 17.10.2017.*** Today i decided to start week 4, one day away from the actual begining of the next week... She showed few calyxes that are shooting white hairs so i guess her flowering window just started so i gave her a good solution of flowering nutes, boosters and sugar. I am so thankful that my effort is paying off, 7 days development on this automatica strain is the best progress i have seen so far in my short but rich growing experience. She responded very good to all my moves, i decided to show you all what a proper LsT can do to your shape and groeth, and supercropping aswell.. The fishbone look is something that really caught my attention and will be perfected in my next grows. Great week. Plants are ready to be harvested. Really nice plant . Great smell nice structure. Very frosty , really sticky very dense buds. Fast strain to grow, very enjoyable. Thanks everyone

Another week closer..... Welll this is the end...this is the last week, the girls are finishing ripening up..All frosty and sticky. There looking great under the scope. milky and some amber...Just the way I like it.. Not a bad grow, I just have to remember that these girls grow big [ tall ] ..Its ok we managed. Swapped the whole nutrient solution to a fresh one. Finally getting some more purple and buds are developing fine. Plant uses around 2 liters of water per day. Just took a few more leafs away for deeper light penetration. Smell is intensifying. Ph around 5.6, 1050ppm ———————— Nährstofflösung einmal komplett gegen frische ausgetauscht. Endlich werden die Blüten etwas mehr purple, entwickeln sich generell gut. Die Pflanze verbraucht ungefähr 2 l pro Tag. Ansonsten nur ein paar kleinere Blätter entfernt, um dem licht tieferes Eindringen zu ermöglichen. Der Geruch wird auf jeden Fall stärker. pH ca 5.6 und 1050ppm

Day 14

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. I think they have finished stretching as their starting to produce bud sites, so hopefully they stay around this size as it’s the sweet spot for me, not too small but not huge trees, their still just under 1m tall.
