Still a few weeks for this girl. There are the first signs of orange hairs on her buds. I've cleared excess leaves below the canopy and any buds that are to small to be worth her or my effort, I'd rather she plumped and fattened up what buds she already has. I've also chopped away and widen her spread total any blocking of "worth the effort" buds. Supercropping has paid off, giving more room and of course, no effect to the girl whatsoever.

Día 02. Tuve que empezar la floración. Las raices estaban empezando a salir por el caño de descarga. Además estoy notando que al quedar mucha agua atrapada entre las raíces, la toman más rápido y los 20 litros que puse no sé si van a alcanzar. Ya había tenido este problema hace bastante y me había olvidado. Pero igual no me preocupa tanto. Sé que puedo manejarlo tranquilo. Así que al final, la semana anterior fueron sólo 3 días. Ahora voy a ir planificando bien, dado que la diferencia de altura en una de las Polaris, me va a obligar a ir llevando un LST riguroso. También estoy empezando a pensar en formas para evitar las tapadas de raíces. Creo que algo se me va a ocurrir para implementar en algún momento. Voy a hacer un corte de hojas muy grande cuando haya terminado el estiramiento de pre flora. Porque quiero probar cuanto afecta a una rama el quitarle la hoja principal. Algunas he cortado y otras cuantas no. Apliqué Feeding Enhancer de Greenhouse, en forma foliar la noche que pasé a floración. Voy a hacer una nueva aplicación en una semana seguramente. Tuve que bajar la frecuencia de reigo de 30/30 a 15/45 por hora, porque creo que eso hizo que se hagan tan grandes rápido. Igual es un dato que voy a tomar en cuenta para el futuro. Día 04 Me preocupa la velocidad a la que se toman la solución nutritiva. Les puse 20 litros hace 4 días y quedan solamente 12 litros. A este ritmo voy a tener que empezar a poner mucho más de los esperado. Aunque igual, creo que cuando haga un trim fuerte de hojas, ahí van a empezar a regular más el consumo de agua. Además al haber crecido tanto las raíces, es mayor la cantidad de solución que queda estancada en las raíces y es consumida. Así que eso también será un tema a mejorar. Me gusta que las plantas estén así, pero siento que no las voy a poder controlar.

6/5 Starting week 5 The girls are drinking more quickly. So today I watered and fed using TPS1 Circle has just passed Gaia in height. From Friday 6/2 she grew 6 inches from 22 to 28 she got 3 liters Gaia grew from 24 to 26" she got 4 liters 6/7 Circe is growing like a weed (heehee) and quickly passed Gaia. Circe is 31" Gaia 27". Gaia mother is the stereo type mom large hips and flowing tresses while Circe is the willow-of-the-wisp free spirit so true for a healer. Today I flushed all the plants with 1 gallon of filtered water to remove any buildup of nutrients. Hopefully, since I've cut way back on fertilizer, they are getting what they need. The other two Cream Caramel and Gelato 41 are short and remain on the crates to keep them within 30 inches from the light. At 6/9 they are 11 inches. 6/9 water and feeding day. Circe and Gaia both drink 4 liters of water each feeding. Circe grew 3 more inches She is now 34.5. Gaia has stopped growing at 27.5 inches, Gelato 41 is 12 inches (lst) and Cream Caramel 13. These are AFRO girls. Short, Squat and Very bushy. So many leaves, I may have to trim out some large fans to give light to the bud sites. I put mirrors under their canopies to increase light penetration. My mom and dad met and married in post WWII Japan and spent several years there. Mom taught the children of the officers and diplomats but she was also a life-long learner. Her interest were cultural, religious spiritual, music and art. She studied Sumee, Japanese painting, ikebana, flower arranging, and cooking. Some of her Sumee art shown is in week 2. I choose spiritually and oneness with nature rather than the structured sermons of the church services I attended in my youth. Education was emphasized since my mom was a teacher and my dad an officer. My early education was in private schools since I tested above the grade level in public school. My education was fundamental reading, writing, arithmetic. science and art until I went to college. My Dad had the greatest influence on my interests in science and math. In college I studied psychology & biology and wanted to be a doctor. While I was very smart, I really didn't want to continue 12 more years of school for a medical degree. I apologize upfront for all the photos. It was hard to pick which ones to upload, so I picked a good variety. There is gonna be between 4-6 pounds once dried/cured. These were all super dense and very little larf. This was a higher temp/higher humidity run with lots of co2 and they blew up big. It’s been a minute since I’ve grown a cola or 2 that were bigger than my arm…this time there was dozens of them. Each plant was only topped one time. The temps were usually mid 80’s and humidity in the mid 60’s during flower. This might seem high to some, but learning to apply VPD to a grow should not be trial and error, in other words, this was intentional. It’s not risky either. During the first 6 to 7 weeks of flower it is very important to not let your night time temps to go below 75 degrees. POWDERY MILDEW=LOW TEMPS AND HIGH HUMIDITY. Take one of these away and there will not be any powdery mildew! Do not let your temps go below 75! The last 2 weeks I dropped the humidity to 40% and my night temps to mid 60’s for resin production. A couple of thing one should have to create large buds is a temperature gun(for leaf temp), a par meter and co2. Keep the stomata open and feed lots of co2=huge buds. Learn about VPD and not just a quick google search! When it’s dry and cured I’ll be back for an update on weight, taste and effects. Currently the plants are drying in the room at 60 degrees and 60% humidity until I can get in there to trim them. Might be 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for all the likes and comments!

The girls look good, they definitely filled up the place and now FINALLY the buds are taking shape 🌸 Surprisingly the Criticals stretched a bit more than the Gorillas, so far at least. Today my new tent arrived(120x120x200cm). So I’m excited to move them in their new home.
