🌱First Grow🌱 🗓️04/03/2022 Hye. So.. this week I see some more trichomes developing. The buds are looking more frosty. If I go real close I can smell a pine/lemon smell. I harvested the Marigold Bush. I wanted to preserve the flower instead of them rotting away. Found some interesting bugs.. check them out. I am using a bottle with water and wik to create some more humidity. Seeds were soaked until the taproot was showing then placed into peat plugs. They stayed in here for 5 days in total, 2 days after the had popped so I classed it as a whole week. They were then placed into they’re final homes, 23 litre fabric pots

It is my first grow ever hahaha. I guess a pretty good growth.

She has grown short but wide, with plenty of main stems. The buds are looking fantastic, frosty, dense, and giving off a strong, amazing aroma. It looks like she should produce a great yield too. I'll upload the dried results in 1–2 weeks.

Just letting them chill. Water when needed. Switched to spring water. Tap is to heavy. Fingers crossed with growing grass with my grass. Trying to make a better soil platform for my conditions.

Strange week for the plants as I switch in Hygrozyme Enzyme to help with the roots. A lot of dead tissue being consumed by beneficial microbes and fungi. PH rise more than 10 fold every 24 hours while EC levels rise by a point or two. The old roots are dying and being consumed new while bright, crisp, white roots are appearing. New growth is vigorous and the plants seem to enjoy the transition as hard as it is. Dia 95 de vida , hay dos fotos que son del dia 91 de vida antes de amarrar las plantas, las demás fotos son actuales. Hay una ola de calor esta haciendo mas de 35 grados celcius y hace mal tiempo de un momento a otro puede hacer alguna tormenta así que decidimos coger las plantas para ayudarlas a resistir en caso de temporal. Siguen creciendo y estan monstruosas aunque las indicas ya van marcando pistilo yo creo que aún tardarán en florecer por el momento todo va genial esperemos que no nos arruine el cultivo ninguna tempesta.

She is looking nice and frosty. A touch nutrient deprived— so I gave some dry amendments. I was out of town this week, but know there were a few very hot days! She’s doing great!

A week in and four out of the six are ready to head to the big tent to go into their one gallon hydro buckets... I've been impressed so far with the 100% germination rate as well as the vigor in which these have taken off. The roots are well over 6 inches and they've been guzzling up this diluted nutrient solution I've started them off with.

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. well fuck! this round of grow did not go that great!!! These plants took way to long to flower! its week 12 and they still need like 2 more weeks!!!! i chopped down the Pink runtz b/c they HAD NOT EVEN BEGUN TO FLOWER! It was like they where stuck in Veg! definitly not my favorite auto grow at all! hopefully the Girl Scout Cookies are tasty. I have more seeds from this company, but i will be reluctant to use them going forward... i'm sorry for the negative review, hopefully the bud i get off GSC will change my mind, but i doubt it

Bakers delight had a nice cookies smell all the way. A nice layer of trichomes and hard compact buds. A true beauty to the eyes.

This week I can already tell she’s starting to swell, I’m excited to see how much! I think this might be her last week or so until I start flushing, we’ll see about that. Humidity has been great and temperatures also are under control.
