Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. Great grow. I experimented with topping and topped to earley which hurt my overall yield but after all was said and done I ended up with just over an ounce of really good top shelf pot!!!

Still week 5 9/19/20. Started some low stress training with pipe cleaners and floral wire. Leaves look a little damaged, tiny brownish spots.

Another demanding week for these ladies but they have reached a milestone. Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

At this point I'm checking the plant for signs telling me it's time to harvest. I think I'm getting pretty close at this point. She is putting out a strong smell and has a sativa structure with tall and dense flowers. I fed a really heavy compost extract this week with calmag and Golden Tree. Process/ Environment changes: - turned off one Ts1000 yesterday when I cut down the blackberry auto - humidty set to 45-50 % RH I'm on auto pilot at this point and I'm looking forward towards the dry and cure phase. I have purchased 1 gallon glass jars to cure the flower in. I have also purchased 2 way humidity pack to help keep my cure on the right track. I will go in to detail about my process when the time has come to dry the flower.

Still just been removing leaves blocking bud sites. The plant has had 2 waterings without any nutes due to tds reading. I put 2 cup fulls of new happy frog on top a few days ago so I'm assuming that's why the tds is staying higher for a longer period right now. Plant has some burnt tips probably from the extra nitrogen if I had to guess. Seems to be growing ok and stretching. I added 2 trellis nets to try to help support the bud.

This week was a little late due to the holiday. This is the week RSQ Wedding Cake flipped to flower. I accidentally super cropped her when trying to bend a branch over. After that she started drinking a whole lot more (hence the underwatered pictures)

4th week of vegetation. probably last week. Plant looking good. Today I received my luxmeter. Honestly I'm in shock 😳. it shows 50,000 Lux under my lamp. If you want to better understand this number -the power of daylight on my window is about 2000 Lux.😎 27 oct - remove rubber bands. add electrical wire. She is very strong. 29 oct - +6cm horizontal growth. total width 18cm 31 oct - cut several fan leaves. total width 22cm (+4 cm for 2 days). tomorrow starting 5th week, so i planning to start pre-flowering week.

Overall a good week last week. Most comments are below. . 12/23 Day 90: While the first plant is drying I let the second plant continue to grow another week or so. The second plant is continuing to yellow. I have only been feeding it water and gave it some FloraKleen yesterday to begin the flushing. A few photo updates today. This one has not purpled at all compared to the other plant.

Nice buds growing :D I’m quite impatient ! I will put PK at the 30th 35th day I wait the buds bigger ! I do defoliation a lot and every day it’s insane how it grows every day ! I pinched the apex of the plants which I didn’t cut the apex.
