Day 1 drying

12/9: Fed today. Plants are looking much better now. I'll switch them to 12/12 and add extra reds tomorrow. Will also begin UVB stressing immediately. 12/11: Flipped to flower. 12/12: Fed today and sprayed with boom boom spray and axiom harpin proteins. I also added a tablespoon of Happy Frog Cavern Culture to the pots before watering it in. Got the DIY CO2 generator going with a fresh batch of sugar and yeast. 12/16: Fed today. The weird little lava cake just wasn't keeping up with the rest of the crop and I decided to remove her from the garden. For now, she's in my wife's office with our overwintering pepper plants, but I'll take her out to the greenhouse and hide her amidst my broccoli and cauliflower plants tomorrow and see how she does in the cold. 🙏

Week 3 (27-11 to 3-12) What's good everyone? We started this week off topping the lady and removing the 2 bottom shoots. The next day Santa came early 😁 Got 2 new clip fans and the AC5 Power strip from Spider Farmer. The power strip has 5 outlets you can control in the app, they can be turned on based on a time cycle, humidity or temps. It comes with a sensor that monitors light, temperature, and humidity. And a soil sensor that monitors soil moisture (VWC), temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC). It also has a light adapter to connect 2 lights, that can be controlled in the app aswell. The app shows the current VPD, i try to keep this around 1.0. In the middle of this week we increased the light intensity from 30% to 35%. LUX: 13.000/13.500 to LUX: 15.000/15.500 This week's growing conditions were 17.9°C to 22.4°C with a humidity of 55.5% to 67.6% and watered 2 times with 0.5L. See you next week!

Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

After transplanting these are the plants who suffered more; Tangie#1 is very sad and small, with lower leaves turned yellow and burned at tips, maybe some potassium deficiency, also present in Tangie#2 but less

the canopy is balanced (see vid), a rather intense green colour, no sign of deficiency (I moved my lamps up 10cm to prevent the tips from bleaching further), the stems look strong, and no more flies or spiders in my tent :) onwards to the flowering stage! 12h/12, still under my MarsHydro, 2 lamps, 210w. can't wait to see the pistils emerge!

*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Just another photo dump lol This girl is proving to be a slow finish for me. Going on to week 16 now and I’ve decided to give her the flush as her trichs are all starting to go amber. I felt I’ve traded enough potency for yield now and I don’t think she’s really racking on much more weight. This might be the last update until after harvest. Up until it’s time to trim and jar. Wish me luck folks. I’m thinking I’ll be close to a half pound of this fatty 😍😂

Harvest day 66 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. The growth was great from start to finish. She had no problems at all and also had no problems with animals 👍. I'm amazed at the great smell the beautiful buds give off😀. Of course I cut cuttings and if the taste is as good as the smell it will be grown again ☺️. A final report comes with the Smoke Report. Main cola is getting dense and bigger, but all the other little ones are still pretty small, it will be interesting to see how this one finishes. Gave it a little more worm castings and 2-8-4 this week and will be the last feed it gets, from now on it just gets water ph between 6.2 and 6.8. Will continue some minor defoliation and will try to LST it just for airflow from now until harvest in a couple more weeks.

Bubba Kush Mintz Autoflower is growing great. Took to the neem treatment well. I trimmed her up, and she is ready to stretch a bit more I believe. Everything is looking great, she will likely be ready for a solution change in about a week for the bulking stage.
