Not far to harvest. Nicely bulking up, tops looking very pretty. Trichomes started to change color to milky but still it needs time. 2 more weeks I guess.

We are an update away from the results. Both control plants chopped by way of spin trimmer. Non defo has the biggest cola, defo plant has the most mains and seems a bit heavier when wet. Results in a week or so Sbg.com

Strong, grows pretty fast. Beginner friendly strain, easy to maintain. Just make sure to defoliate her often, or it will bush up before you know it!

Day 49 - 14th Day of Flower I'm starting to really enjoy this part of the grow. That said the amount they have stretched is crazy! My lights are maxed out height wise and they are only just 18" above the tallest colas so I really hope they finish up stretching soon. Nutes: I added PK13/14 for fridays feed and they seem to have responded really well to it. They have been fed every other day as they aren't quite drying up in 24 hours. One thing I have noticed this week is the smell! They have become incredibly pungent. Everytime i go in the tent I have to change my clothes as they just smell so much. The fan leaves around the bud sites are becoming sticky! I have taken the smallest one out to photograph this week. It was sick when i got it as cutting so wasn't topped as early as the others. That said it seems to have grown into a really nice shape and has lots of buds developing. No problems really this week. Just a bit of mild light burn which I kept on top of. They will have 1 more defoliation this week and then I'll leave them be.

Flower is in full effect. Day 43 - LST just to pull some little stuff up into the light. Day 44 - 3 cups clean PH: 6 T:20°C Day 45 - lots of bud sites starting to explode Day 46 - seeing some yellowing tips with brown spots like last grow. Positive that the light is getting to them. Moved light to 23" Day 47 - 6.5 cups of nutrient solution PH: 6 PPM:479 T:20°C Day 49 - bent down the main cola because it was creeping up too high and I didn't want it to burn. It was really nerve-wracking. Thank God it didn't snap. Opened it right up too! So many bud sites on this plant. Getting excited. Thanks for stopping by! 🥦

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. D4 - YES! We have lift-off!!! Today both seeds poked up. BOOM! Yesterday, I also put in my new humidifier in the tent, and man, this little thing is a BEAST. The amount of water vapor it is able to push out is insane. I use an Inkbird controller to... ummm... control the humidifier so that the humidity in the tent is 80% plus/minus 5%. I'm planning on running this high humidity for the first week or so and then dropping it down. D5 - I adjusted the light to 80 cm (about 31") above the canopy, resulting in 300 μmol/m2/s at canopy level. A bit high as I usually keep it around 250, but it should be alright, I think. D6 - The left girl, #1, seems to have died. Her leaves never fully emerged from the seed, and now she is entirely wilted, laying on the soil. So yeah, she is a gonner, I think. No idea what happened since she looked okay yesterday, and the other girl is already 5 cm (2") tall. Strange, but there's a first for everything, I guess. I already have a new seed soaking in water to be planted tomorrow. She'll then be six days after the other girl, and while probably noticeable at first, I don't expect any real problems during the grow. Hopefully, it'll germinate, but if not, c'est la vie. D7 - After soaking the seed for 24 hours, I rolled it in myco, and planted it in the first pot. However, I removed and replaced some soil in the center of the pot before planting, just in case something was wrong with the soil. Fingers crossed that this one will germinate just fine. On the other hand, the second girl is doing her thing just fine. I removed her humidity dome, though, as the RH in the tent should be high enough. D11 - End of the first week of veg and the third seedling popped up. BOOM! Now let's hope this girl survives, considering that the first girl in that pot died. On the other hand, the second girl is thriving; already 9 cm tall and 6 cm wide. Her first set of true leaves is slightly twisted but not too severely, and the second set looks fine. She is a bit leggy, so I added a couple of toothpicks for support. I have been asked in DM why I have Avocados on top of the soil. The reason is simply for feeding my worms and encouraging breeding. The girls got the chop last Friday having a bit of bother with humidity at 70% at 23 c but I can get it down to 60% humidity but the temps drop to around 16 c I'm also attempting to reveg the zupreme just incase its nice lol I already have a baklava reveging now will make a diary for those tomorrow
