Not long left for her now I don't think. Buds are fattening up nicely the main cola is rock hard almost. Ridiculously strong pepper smell to her haha if you give a bud a rub a lovely fruity smell comes through though. Gonna do a week of dragon force next week then possibly start flush depending on trichomes. I have even checked them at all yet but will get it done over the weekend.

All doing well. Ultimate #1 is doing far better in growth under the Mars Hydro vs Ultimate #3 under just the Phlizon. This is what I expected I just didn’t really expect it would be such a large difference. The branches under the Mars Hydo are not only bigger and stronger but there are more of them!! Unless something massive changes the Phlizon will be just a seedling light from now on. Added a CO2 bag as well.

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. I took another look at the males and found them to be average. Not that smelly or resinous. So, no good for breeding. That's ok though. Let see what these females can do. They are topped already and ready to be repotted and put in the tent. There's still 1 plant undecided. Has small male looking flowers. I'll leave it for a few more days before deciding. Man, there are lots of large female orb weaving spiders around here this year. Huge webs, when you walk into them in the dark, they don't break off like the little webs. What a difference in design though. These spiders are all in my yard. I find them fascinating to look at. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. Unfortunately, I've let the Chaos Cake become too dry due to the fungus gnats, I had watered it too much, and afterwards, I just got a huge increase in the amount of fungus gnats. So, I thought it was best to let it dry out for a while. I think, however, I might have left it a little bit too long because it was incredibly dry. So when I watered it, it actually made the plant fall over. So I've had to prop it up with some metal garden pegs. Hopefully, she'll rectify herself if I make sure that the medium is properly. Watered. Other than that, the plant is doing well. Hopefully, she'll start becoming a little bit more sturdy next week! 😅 I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 28.9.25: I watered with 1.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 Sea K .5TSP 💜 Biosys .5TSP PH: 6.2 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

What a difference a week makes! #1 is just adding on the weight this week while #2 continued to stretch to what might be a record for this auto at 40” and is now exploding with pistils. #3 is yet another type of pheno and a short bush that I have continually taken leaves from trying to figure out what is what. I expect #3 to start her stretch this week given the fact that she’s almost two weeks behind the others while I was trying to find a bean that would pop. Staggering on the trim doesn’t really bother me because they are all getting the same 19 hours of light indefinitely. We are getting into some heat up north and I imagine the room will climb into the high 80’s but there’s not very much I can do about that except giving them air circulation. Stardawg really is the star of the show and might end up being my consistent go to if they keep going like this.

This week still raining......... Fertilizer this week 1) Monopotassium phosphate (KH2PO4) 45.7 grams with 500 ml of water + Mono-ammonium phosphate (NH4H2PO4) 45 grams with 500 ml of water. Mix both together and use only 5 ml per liter of water. 2) General root stimulants 1 ml per liter of water. 3) 4 eggs mixed with 1 tablespoon brown sugar + 4 tablespoons curd. Mix together.then lived it for 1week .Then used 2.5 ml per 1 liter of water. 4) Calcium nitrate {Ca (NO3) 2} 3.5 grams, mixed with 1 liter of water, set aside. Prepare a mixture of 3.5 grams of magnesium sulfate and 3.5 grams of boric acid mixed in 1 liter of water. Then mix all 2 liters of liquid The ratio used to put plants is 3-5 ml per 1 liter of water. 5) EDTA chelate 1 ml per 1 liter of water. 6) 0.5 grams of amino acids per 1 liter of water. 7) Bat manure.

3 seeds from barneys farm : glue gelato auto. Diary : Day 1: I dug a pit and cleaned my dirt with metal grid and a wheelbarrow & Installed the greenhouse. Day 2 : I rotated my dirt and added universal soil. 4 x 70l to area of 6m2. I also planted seeds in universal soil without sprouting first. Day 3 : I gave water and checked for sprouts. Bought moist meter and dripping hose. Installed those and making the greenhouse more moisty now. Feeling : Verry happy for my first time. Lots to learn.. . Excited

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

We have had another very hot week. All my girls are suffering and display some ugly looking leaves. But so far the buds are doing well. This girl is growing some very fat buds. The smell is very delicious. She smells of grapefruit.
