Still going...sigh... 3/18 ; did a water change and man is ut getting awkward getting her out of the tent to do water changes. I might drill and put a valve on the very bottom of the bucket next grow to make water changes a little easier in the future. 4 gallons of well water with 4 tsp of maxi grow and 1 tsp of Kool bloom. I added 1 tbl of calmag for the hell of it. The older leaves are looking a little stressed. The buds seem to be swelling to me, but strange enough, seems like the smell is decreasing. But what there is, is very fruity.ph to 6.1

Everything went as good as it could the last week. I definitely realize now that the light was too much for them once they stretched up from the lack of knowledge using my light mover. I’m still trying to figure them out but I believe I have the rite combination now for speed and pause times, but sadly to late for this crop. My other tent just going into flower with the same setup will be run drastically differently this time for a lot of things to compensate for my intense 1000w HPS. I’ve grown massive Buds before under this light in smaller tents and I’ll be dam’d if I’m gonna let this light rail defeat me! Lol so we are gonna start flush now because we are just about 8 weeks in and although we do have a ton of bud in this tent and I would have like to push her a bit more, we are gonna take what we got and move on! Lol there are a lot of medium size buds absolutely everywhere, and solid. Even below the top screen, between the 2 screens every node has a solid bud sticking out. Still gonna be a nice yield I think all things considered. Ph pretty much stayed constant in the reservoir at 6.0 as well as the EC was sitting around 1.5 all week. Wish I could get my light up more but I’m having a hard time finding the attachment for my light rail mover to add a bar instead of ropes to suspend it. I can’t justify $100 to import it from USA though...lol so I’m gonna experiment with some other diy one once I get these girls cut down, dont wanna mess around above them and risk dropping the heavy light on my girls. Esa familiaa, estoy impresionado porque estas skunk están muy compactas, es una cepa increíble, y no la fume todavía, solo hay que verlas no solo lo prietas que van, si no lo tricomas as que están . Hay que felicitar a Zambezaseeds ya que esta variedad es muy estable y sencilla de llevar. Ph controlado, quitamos productos y lavamos raíces, pronto solo agua. Ph controlado, temperatura por debajo de 29 y humedad por debajo del 40%, deseando que estén listas para ver la producción, esss flores pesarán, hasta la semana que viene fumetillas.

I am very proud of this girl ! Despite the fact that she is younger than the rest by two weeks, she caught up with her friends in height and even surpassed them :) The giant fan leaves are surprising 😃

4 September 2022 Flowering: 42 days - 6 weeks Tip of foliage showing sign of maybe pH imbalance or too much fertilizer? Did a small water flush. The run off water was very acidic, added water until run off was 6 pH Maybe time for water only now 10-15 more days till harvest??

07/16/2024 Week 8 Update!!!! Yoo gang update lessgooo!!!!!! Sooo what's brackin gang, so we starting into week 8, officially I think it's week 6 of actual veg but that's here nor there, the girls are really coming into their own really great leaf structuring and coloration other then will keep y'all updated as the week goes on thanks for stopping by and LFG!!!!

Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. Shoutout and cheers to @blendmedmedman. Hoping to have something back to ya in short order. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Plants have a bit deficiency of potassium but they're growing well.I dropped humidy from 55-65 to 45-55%. I Also watered with 5l. Of water and 25g of Gurumix bloom and molasses.

Start of week 8. Looks good. No big issues to report so that's good. Dropping feed to 350ppm. Using dry koolbloom for ripening and I plan to start flushing mid week. The gelato is having a hard time standing up. I've tied up branches everywhere. I took clones from plants that were in 3 weeks of flower for those 2 plants. (Monstercropping). It does work where there are way more stems and budsites. The downside is most stems are weak and cannot support alot of weight. It was a good experiment though. Thanks to the community for all the likes and support. Looking to harvest most plants in the next 2 weeks. Tricomes are filling up and beginning to turn cloudy on at least half the plants. This week I start my varieties for new mothers for 2022; coming straight from the Netherlands from Neerland seeds Bank

I think the stretch is going to start now. All are in bloom and developing OK. Leaves are drooping a bit too much for my taste and due to the bushy growth are quite overlapping. But I'll from now just let them grow and try to do as little as possible.. Which is incredibly hard. Sometimes I just sit 10 mins staring at my girls,smelling their scent and being thankful that I don't have to fear being locked up for growing a fucking plant 😄

Pre flower formed, starting to smell a bit more than the last week, keeping grooowing 💚

If anyone have an idea what happened with my buds, please let me know :( Otherwise she looks amazing, smells wonderful soon ready for the harvest. 2 days and I will change the water for flush it :)

Such a wonderful plant. Great shape no stress (yet) stacking well and getting frosty. She has a great sweet smell with a definite berry fruit smell that leaves my mouth watering. Very different from the funk coming from the purple urkle.. Another thankful shout to lassos for putting me straight with my pH issues. If you want to know about it it's in my other diaries.
