Strawberry Gorilla harvest

As you can see this poor girl had a hard night last week but we are happy to say that she survived it. We did have to top most of the branches because they had died off but she is recovering very well. This is going to be a bushy plant and we look forward to seeing her bloom, at the moment we are sorting out placement of all of our ladies! It is soon time and we are very excited! Once we transplant all feeding info will be recorded, it’s been a muddled winter season to say the least!

Essa semana a planta já está se preparando para a tão esperada hora da colheita, a grande maioria dos tricomas já estão ficando leitosos acredito que só precisa mais dessa semana 🙏 A cor dos Buds da Banana Purple punch já estão meio roxos e açucarados, já a AK auto está com os pestilos com cores alaranjadas, os tricomas já estão bastante leitosos mais ainda quase nenhum âmbar, Irei fazer a colheita dos tricomas 30 a 50 % âmbar☘️ Iniciei o flush essa semana, agora as regas são só com água, não vejo a hora de colher esses Buds perfumados 😍

18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 4 Marilla Fruit plants and they are all very different. The scent of each plant is very strong and very special. MF # 2 - 79cm - has a very compact Indica growth pattern with wide and large leaves. I had to defoliate a lot. Trichomes production is well underway. MF # 3 - 99cm - is more of the sativa type. Very slender leaves with purple stem. Trichomes production is also well underway at this plant. MF # 4 - 81cm - Indica plant with thick clusters of leaves that are packed very close together. Lots of defoliation work. MF # 6 - 96cm - rather sativa type. Open structure, relatively few large leaves, many side branches, buds spread over the entire plant. Less positive are the many small leaves between the flowers.

Flushing has started and I expect to harvest within the next days. Mostly all the trichomes are milky. Not many clear trichomes left, and some older sugar leaves have have trichomes getting yellowish amber.

I Will Be Taking Off Most Of The Fan Leaves On The Girls Scout Cookies (5gal) And The Gorilla Glue For Better Light Penetration. The Flowering 5 Have Such Lovely Scents Coming Off Them From Sweet Berries And Pine To Different Types Of Lemon I Just Love When I When The Tent Is Close Up And I Open It And All The Flavours Just Hits Me All At Once. The Lemon OG From MSNL Is Now Over The 100cm Mark It’️s Now At 104cm(Proud Moment). Germ Week1 (Day 1 Feb24) Stilton and Tropical Berry done directly into a riot cube sat in a bed of biobizz light mix in a solo cup 2 fruity widow seeds sat into a wet paper towel in a ziploc bag Feb 27 - no real move from the widow's in the bag, so i moved one of them into a riot cube Mar 1 - action from stilton, but the others not really doing much. Mar 2 -widow 2 is dead. went to the shop and got myself a barney's farm critical kush, into a paper towel What's the plan here? Hoping for 4 different strains to give me 4 different reactions to the same conditions and maybe I'll find something that likes the space i've set up I've never done direct to substrate before, but seems to work fine. Doing the kush in a bowl just because it feels more comfortable to me, but likely not a big deal What are we doing different this time? Try to watch and maintain temp and humidity as well as possible. In seedling I'll look to mist the riot cube once per day, in the morning, with a tiny bit of water As soon as the first set of leaves touches the edge of the cup i'll transfer to final pot and hopefully have some micro-r to help the transition Looking to maintain as little LED headroom as possible, to try and get the nodes really close Aiming to top at node 3 once I see node 6 just start to pop out Feed once per week and water once per week.

Oggi è iniziata la terza settimana di vita della mia Purplematic CBD. Sembra sana e cresce piuttosto velocemente, oggi 19/10/2020 l'ho trapiantata nel vaso smart pot (quello di tessuto che mi è stato gentilmente dato, insieme al kit dicrescita, dalla royal queen seeds, per il contest). Ho poi, nella medesima data, utilizzato per la prima volta easy combo, in particolare la capsula per la fase vegetativa. Purtroppo, ho a disposizione solo una capsula per la fase di crescita, e innaffiando poche volte alla settimana (a causa delle temperature non troppo elevate) ho fatto la scelta di frazionare la capsula in 4 parti così da non sprecarla e poterla utilizzare ancora. Ho diluito 1/4 della pastiglia in circa 750ml di acqua del rubinetto (so che non è la scelta migliore, ma almeno ho potuto regolarne la temperatura) e versato nel vaso circa 200ml-250ml. Sto iniziando, quando possibile, a dare un po' più di luce alla piantina. Durante il trapianto ho notato che, probabilmente grazie all'utilizzo dei fertilizzanti che mi sono stati inviati, le radici erano molto ben sviluppate e qualcuna stava già uscendo dai buchi sottostanti al vaso.

day 9: the roots start to come out of the netpot slowly (see picture) the water level is 1 inch under the netpot, the bubbles make the roots wet. nothinh much to do here just waiting for water change. the ph has gone up to 6.0 maybe because of the rockwool touching the water when the water level was higher. in the next days i expect the roots to go in the water day 11 (december 15) roots com trough net and i did water change with double strength (507ppm) calmag to around 200 and 100ppm of each three part bottle

I put the plant under the SCROG and did little bit of defolation, plat looks happy and healthy.

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Today i decided to heavily defoliate the plants. I also found a old feeding schedule from Green House with PH values, and it recommends that i should give an PH of 5.7 on coco. I thought PH 6 was good, but i was wrong, maybe this in combination with the plants being too wet, is the reason for the weird growing leaves, and the problems they show. I cleaned the reservoir and made sure there is no old water in the lines. I made a full strength 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir. I turned the reservoir on for around 3 mins, just to the point that the AutoPot trays are full of water and the valves are shutting them off, then i turn the reservoir off. I will do this every other day, so 1 time in 2 days. 7-4 Temperature: 25.7 degrees (lights on) 22.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 50% (lowest) 8-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 22.4 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 55% (lowest) Today i turned on the reservoir for 3 minutes again, just till the trays are full of water. 9-4 Temperature: 25.9 degrees (lights on) 21.2 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 51% (lowest) No pictures.

LETS GET INTO IT!!!!: 1) Did another flush again today and upped the feeding amount to 1040ppm from 955 wanted to see more growth 2) DID HAVE A SIDE BRANCH CRACK IN HALF about 60% BREAK FMLLL!!! Another good week in the bag. The girls are getting water every day. The shortest one drinks the most. Interesting. They have a sugary smell to them. It's hard to describe. I'll be interested in the final smell. I decided to bust out the microacope and to my surprise the trichomes are pretty milky already! It's only been five weeks! Will monitor to see the amber but still for this early! Started using the UVB! Started at 30 minutes for a few days. Now at one hour. The tests started at two hours at three weeks out which would be now. So gonna increase tomorrow another thirty and continue to ramp up.

Only had chance to do photos on day 41 guys, apologies for that. This week I think there was a Gamma Radiation leak nearby.. She grew 34cm!!!!!!!!!! 😂 thats almost 5cm / 2" per day. All 4 tops (from FIMing) are almost equal in height. She is well into flowering so I'd like her vertical growth to slow a bit 😅 Lots of flower sites forming! She is quite bushy. These growcaps have impressed me so far, I thought they were a bit of a gimmick but I think they really do work. There was no sign of any deficiency or over feeding at all so they seem very well suited to the task. The only thing I wonder is how many weeks do they last? Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 650ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water.
