Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Update 2017-08-16. I have mixed my own soil today. Its 40% sieved peat harrow H2-H4 0-30 mm, 45% sieved peat harrow H4-H6 0-30 mm. 5% sand and 10% of compost soil. Update 2017-08.20. Nr1 and 2 grow and thrive. Number 3 just got rid of the seedpod and is folding out the sheets. Update 2017-08-21. Nr 1 and 2 is doing well. Nr3 is trying to catch up and Nr4 is still shy.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

The chimera has grown extremely large. It has perfect internodal spacing so that the light can penetrate deep into the plant. Now the flowering starts, we increase the addition of Prosper the flowering fertiliser.

More hairs are coming. Everything looks good to me. The temperatures sure are getting high, but the plant is doing well. I'm not sure if the twisted new growth was a problem. The leaves turned out fine.

LAST FEED 7/7 7/8 I'm very excited with how my little grow is turning out. Preflower are forming on my mendo breath. Slurricanes are a little behind. I'm wondering when to switch to flower nutes. We will be getting thunderstorms today and this weekend. I obtained four blow up mattresses and cut them, zip tied them together and covered with gorilla tape. Since I didnt have enough lumber to frame the top of my fence I will not be able to use the rain guard tonight. I think they will be fine Having a frame that I could staple it too very quickly would be invaluable especially in the fall. 7/9 I added some additional supports last night. Glad I did as I have no damage and that was a huge storm. Preflowers are forming and smell is pungent. 7/10 Fog was heavy this morning but the sun is out now. Looks like it will be nice all day. I found a spider web at the bottom of a plant wrapped at the base of the stem. I've been killing pregnant spiders that will fold the leaves and web them together to hatch there babies in. The webs they weave are extremely durable. I swept up app webs which were easy to see do to the most and fog. I still see some pillar damage so I think you I might hit them with captain Jack's that way if I'm missing something I can spray before I transition to flower nutes. I watered today as I wasnt sure how much rain the plants had got and I didnt water yedterday. 7/11 It poured all night. It was the type of rain plants love. A bit heavy at times. I had to check plants with an umbrella. No damage. Everything looks good. I took no pictures due to the rain. As soon as I left it stopped raining. The sun came out yesterday and it was extremely humid. Plants seemed to love it. I'm really debating when I should switch to flower nutes. Went back later in the day. Sun came out and it was humid as hell. I took a couple pictures. 7/12 Heavy thunder showers gave way to sunny skies. I fed today and increased to 2tsp grow big and used micro bre instead of kango roots. It hasn't been a week yet but I will be away for a week and family will be caring for my plants. I will still monitor via security feeds and the morning through facetime. My plants seem to be doing super good and I hate to leave them even for a night. Oh well. I'll have to hope a masters in forestry and a masters on botany will suffice to care for my garden. Honestly I'd probably rather have a smelly hippie looking after them. At the local store brown tail moths coated the store. It was ridiculous. I applied BT heavily to my entire crop and actually say a few moths fly out from under the plants. It's been so dry the moths biggest predator (a form of algae) didnt grow. The CDC issued guidelines as they are poisonous. If you've never had problems with worms you might this year. 7/13 like I said family is watching my grow for a few days so I'm not sure if I'll be posting. I may have pictures sent and facetime. I can always check the cameras anyway. I sprayed BT last night just to be safe. That was unreal. I'm worried to leave my girls but I know it's just my anxiety disorder. When I get back I'm switching the mendo breath to flower nutes. Maybe slurricane too. What do you guys think? Hope you enjoy the video. I can monitor with my cameras but it's great to facetime and look really close.

Great week, nothing went wrong, everything is start to grow fast now. Started low stress training, plants always love it . Everything is in order so far

Day 21: The three girls have grown really big now, I'm so proud. They were measuring around 12-15 cm before I added dirt and now they are receiving 3-4 hours of direct sunlight/5-6 of non direct sunlight (total) since the UV index here has gone mad high.

have some type of deficiency have some spots on leaves but besides that things look okay they both need more water now not sure how long I can veg in the containers I’ll probably try get another week or two then up pot to 7 gallons I broke a branch and new growth from topping today smh trying to bend it for training and was to rough so i put some tape on it hopefully they grow back in a week or two Feb 25 getting one of them ready for transplant I’ll probably do it in two days I’m going to let the one with the broken branch heal for another week probably before I transplant Feb 28 Did some trimming of the lower leafs Almost time for one to be transplanted the cover crop have not grown in the 7gal yet I seen some growing but not a lot
