Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. I have been really busy so haven't got round to updating , these girls are doing fine some wonderful keeper phenos and some I won't be running again .

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Hopefully the stunted size means the flower timing is delayed as well, I've gone through a runt LSD before so if it flips before 7 inches I'll just pull it and start a different seed, I still have more Purple Lemonade beans so might pop one of those into the 5gal with no transplant and see if I can get a better base. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The plant otherwise is healthy and growing well under the new set up. Still 3 and change tall but in context of the new light has tripled in size in a week and a half. If it looks like it's still vegging and starting to catch up once it settles into the new RootPouch 5gal woven then I'll keep it going. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Day 14 - 3 out of 5 are growing a little slow/weird, all 5 seem to be growing kinda slow compared to my first run of autos but hopefully everything does good🤞🏼 Happy growing friends🌱✌️🏼 Day 17 - Still have 2 extremely weird looking ones, really hoping they bounce back🙏🏼🤞🏼 Day 18 - 3 out of 5 still going strong, the other 2 havnt changed much!

Growing feminized seeds from White Label Seed Company is an affordable and easy method of obtaining a high quality harvest. Transplanting at beginning of week 4, it’s now end of week 5, using only water. Time to feed and increase Nitrogen, some plants are showing Nitrogen deficiency and got some bottom leaves getting yellow. Except the lil Nitrogen deficiency, all the plants are doing well. The Kush are compact, White Gorilla Haze got 2 different phenotypes. (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

Plant stayed small, but buds were full and dense. Structure was nice, although it could not take much LST.

Still did not get to smoke it, will let it cure for a few weeks. Many of the lower buds were very fluffly, in total there was around 140G dry, but around 40 grams will be kept with trim for cooking maybe. So 100 grams dry flower is pretty sweet outcome.

During my previous grow, I harvested and made some bubble hash. Afterward, I dropped the used, wet buds onto this coco, and it seems some seeds sprouted from the leftover material. I’m not even sure if they’re photoperiod or autoflower, but hey—let's roll with it! Both my pH meter and PPM meter are broken. I have no idea why they keep breaking so often. They’re ADWA meters, and while you can replace the reading elements, the replacements cost half the price of a new meter. It’s frustrating, and I really don’t want to keep buying them every time I start a new grow

22.05: The plants beautifully rebounded and made up for previous inconveniences. Except for two of them, all the new nodes are growing healthy and vibrant. I had to give them a good dose of water and increase the humidity to 63-72%. Mycorrhiza and a bit of nitrogen did the trick with two rounds of watering. I also raised the lamps to 80-70 cm above the top of the plants. We'll see what happens soon. I'll probably switch them to flowering in a few days.

Day 36 1/13/25 I think she is taking to the location okay so far and after the first cut I did I’m not sure what I’m doing I’m just doing my own little mainline thing experimenting I guess I’m using APSU super soil and a little bit of build of soil 3.0 left from last grow and it’s a 7 gal pot als 1/14 day 37 Did second and final topping going allow about two weeks to bounce back and allow more growth and LST then flower

So I have been busy building a new grow space in the cellar had walls and a roof , then after three days of rain the cellar is under 2cm of water. So today I pulled my finger out and repotted all my plants. 4 will be in the autopots 15 litres, with the addition of airdomes this run. They will stay in my 90*90 tent till the roots hit the bottom of the pots and I can use the autopot resivoir . I have used bio bizz light mix with perlite, added some Greenhouse powderfeed bio bloom to the soil along with silica powder from Biotabs. I then top dressed with a little bio grow to keep them going until I flower them in a week or two.
