Hi everyone, Last week I harvested #2 aswell, #1 is dry already and in fermintation. #3 and #4 just receive pH regulated Water from now, #5 still receives fertilizer. Its still sad that I cant adjust the light properly, due to the height of #4 and #5 Compared to #3. Nevertheless I have to pay more attention on the trichomes and be patient. Maybe I can harvest 3 and 4 at the end of the week, or next week. #5 still needs Its Time, as it is 2 weeks behind. I noticed that the size of the Buds increased slighty cause of the more Watts, the Most impact is on #5. I am very excited about the yield overall, but it is less than I thought itd be (as always). Have a nice week and happy growing :) Wulle

This week I've been pulling the top fan leaves to stop the plant growing taller and to allow the side branches to catch up. I also started feeding them. I will probably repot and switch to flower next week now they've all outgrown their mutations.

First day of this week I did some big lollipopping and defoliation and also some watering with tap water only . They’re both looking good for me so far and the smell is like normal classic weed on the ssh and a light citrus smell on the orange bud .i won’t do much more this week but watering . Next watering on day 5.

I topped this beautiful girl again and it was 32 tops in total, now I will wait 2-3 weeks for her to overcome these heavy stresses and start active growth, after which I will cover the scrog net and switch the light cycle to 12/12 💚🌋

Week 7 Flower — Sundae Driver (Grow Diaries Report) Quick recap for new readers From seed to here, this run has been a careful dance between living soil, precision feeding, and adaptive training: • Seeds germinated with Aptus support, then transplanted directly into 11L fabric pots of enriched soil. • Minimal veg — early switch to flower under 11/13 schedule. • One tall “moon-shot” top supercropped early in flower to control height and redirect hormones → result: knuckle healed beautifully, more bud sites formed. • Feeding has been a Plagron + Aptus combo, alternating between soil-driven nutrition and steering solutions, keeping EC and pH carefully managed. • By Week 6, we saw resin pouring in, trichomes swelling, pistils still pushing white, and strong aroma developing. Now, in Week 7, we are right in the heart of bulking. ⸻ Environmental update • Outside: brutal heatwave (temps up to ~45°C / 110°F). • Grow space: thanks to AC, canopy temps hold around 28°C with the lung room at ~21.8°C. • Humidity: still high, ~62%. Ideally we’d want 45–55% at this stage, but the girls are adapting beautifully — no visible signs of mold or rot, airflow and plant vigor are keeping them safe. • Tools: Trolmaster and Spider Farmer apps logged to share transparent data. ⸻ Feeding & recipe this week You’ve reintroduced the All-in-One liquid into the Plagron + Aptus recipe, pushing EC slightly higher again for an extra boost: • Plagron PowerBuds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation → stacking, sugars, and bloom density. • Aptus Regulator + CalMag Boost → structural strength, stress resilience, mineral balance. • All-in-One liquid → full-spectrum nudge to keep driving flower bulking. This “soil-first, solution-steering” approach works perfectly here. The soil still holds a strong base load (your earlier EC readings confirmed this), and the solution acts like an accelerator without overloading. ⸻ Plant performance & structure • Bulking: Both Sundae Drivers are filling out massively — flowers are swelling, colas thickening, side branches almost unable to hold themselves upright. • Support: You’ve improvised by tying branches to each other, preventing collapse. This is a classic late-flower “good problem”: weight means density. • Supercrop site: completely healed, producing solid flower along the bent top and nearby branches. A textbook example of how to redirect growth without losing yield. • Color: Leaves still lush green, minimal fade — showing balanced feeding and no major deficiencies. ⸻ Trichomes & pistils — where we stand • Trichomes: Frost is stacking heavy — from sugar leaves to outer calyxes, a shimmering coat is spreading. Under magnification, most heads are clear-to-cloudy, with some areas beginning to lean more cloudy. Amber not yet common — perfect for Week 7. • Pistils: Still plenty of white hairs, but we’ll begin to see darkening and curling soon as calyxes mature and resin production peaks. • Meaning: Plants are still actively in the bulking/resin-factory stage. Harvest is not yet — but we’re entering the critical monitoring phase. ⸻ What Week 7 means (technically) This is the late bulking / mid-ripening window. • Calyxes expand → actual bud density increases. • Terpenes develop rapidly → strong smells, unique cultivar expression. • Resin pathways peak activity → cannabinoids build, but need 1–2+ more weeks to fully mature. • Risk window for botrytis → high humidity + dense colas = careful airflow essential. ⸻ What to expect next week Expect: • Noticeable increase in aroma — terpenes often “pop” around Week 8. • Trichomes shifting more to cloudy; a few ambers may begin depending on genetics. • Pistils starting to darken and recede, giving buds a more “finished” look. • Possible leaf fade (yellowing from the bottom up) as mobile nutrients are pulled into flowers. Don’t expect (yet): • Full amber trichome maturity — too early. • True “final swell” — that’s more Weeks 8–9+. • Safe humidity window — continue to monitor closely, as the dense colas can surprise you. ⸻ Practical checklist for Week 7 • Support colas: stake, tie, or net if branches keep falling. Weight will only increase. • Dehumidify if possible: even a small drop to ~55% would reduce risk of bud rot. • Airflow: max canopy circulation; keep oscillating fans moving air through colas, not just over them. • Microscope/loupe checks: continue logging trichomes daily or every other day — aim for a clear photographic timeline. • Smell watch: sudden changes in aroma (musty instead of fruity/sweet) can be early warning of mold. • Continue balanced feeding: don’t pull nutrients too early — Week 7 is still active bulking. ⸻ Reflection — the beauty of Week 7 Both Sundae Drivers are now showing their full potential: heavy colas, strong resin, vibrant health despite high heat and humidity challenges. This week is less about intervention and more about careful support: holding up branches, keeping airflow right, and letting the plants finish their masterpiece. The photos and videos (especially the behind-the-scenes “hands and camera” shots) add a human touch to the diary, it’s not just about the plants, but about the grower’s relationship with them. That connection, plus the technical details, is what makes our journey so special. ⸻ Gratitude & closing Week 7 is a turning point, the moment where patience pays off, where you get to watch the plants finish their story.

VG✌️

Coming in a day early this week because tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Plants are growing nicely, pistils and colors and frost, all good stuff happening. None of the colas are fat and solid like a pinecone yet, but we're on track for a nice harvest. I'm thinking 4 more weeks.

This is flushing week. It’s a long debated topic whether to flush organic or not, but according to Biobizz this is the way to go. Some amber trics have appeared already, so next week she will reach choppington town. It’s crazy to think about this is just half of the battle, the drying and curing must be done right too. I have high hopes for this strain and can’t wait to try the first sample!

Hey! Welcome to my next grow. Decided to give autos a swerve for a while for a few reasons. I've had a bad run of germination from my last few attempts. Also some of the plants I have been growing have flowered far too early which would be a huge waste of valuable tent space. Big shoutout and thank you to the team at RQS. James contacted me and asked if I could run one of their strains in my setup. I'm a big big fan of blueberry strains so decided to give the Haze Berry a go! James sent me 5 seeds out along with a sweet box of goodies. To my delight all 5 seeds have germinated in water so all 5 are now in the tent. Seeds in soil today (11.02.19). They will undergo the full Ice Cream Parlour experience meaning topped at the 3rd node. Supplemented with 1200ppm co2. LST and Scrog under the usual Maxibright 315w laps and an extra LED to boost them along mid flower. Keep checking back for updates. I'll be giving this strain my complete attention aiming for a big yeild and quality buds. Update - I put seeds into water on 8.02.19. Moved the sprouted seeds to 20 litre pots on 11.02.19. Now 13.02.19 they have broken the surface of the coco and showing their cotyledons. I will start supplementing 1200ppm Co2 from tomorrow.

Rough week for the rainbow melon. Giant limb from my maple tree crashed down on my two far pots in the group. The plant survived and should recover but lost a few weeks of growth. It did not get hit as bad as the bubblegum next door and managed to keep one of the main tall stalks. She was looking so nice before the damage and just starting to bush out too. But luckily that branch coming down opened up the sky quite a bit and the other two plants not hit are gonna do even better now and the rainbow melon should recover okay. I almost wanted to replace them but I will learn more from seeing what happens next and comparing to the other unaffected plants. Fed with compost tea, kelp and cal mag mix 700 ppm.

Week 10 - Second Week of Flowering 🌸 As week two of flowering begins, the garden’s growth is unstoppable! These ladies are thriving, stretching up while staying beautifully vibrant and green. Every inch of this tent is optimized—each plant is soaking up light, nutrients, and water precisely as they need, filling the room with energy. Room Conditions 🌡️ • Temperature: 27.3°C • Humidity: 62.6% • CO₂ Levels: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.36 kPa (excellent range for robust flowering) • Lighting Intensity: 818 PPFD Solution & Medium 💧 • Solution Temp: 21.5°C | TDS: 470 ppm | pH: 6.02 • Medium: Moisture 100% (recently dried to 67%), TDS 510 ppm, Temp 22.5°C The “dry-out” to 67% was a strategic move, helping boost nutrient uptake and root strength. Meanwhile, our slight increase in reds seems to be having the desired effect, nudging these ladies further along in the flowering process. Eye Safety & LED Lighting 🌞🕶️ With powerful LED systems like the ThinkGrow and ICL-300, eye protection is critical. LED grow lights emit high-intensity light across the full spectrum, including intense UV and infrared components that are not easily detected by the human eye. Long-term exposure without adequate protection can lead to eye strain, and in extreme cases, damage to vision. • Blue Light Hazard: LEDs often have elevated levels of blue light, which can harm the retina over time if proper precautions aren’t taken. • UV Protection: Even low doses of UV can accumulate and harm eyes, so grow glasses with UV protection are essential for any indoor gardener. Investing in quality grow room glasses can help protect from glare, UV, and infrared rays, making plant care safer and more comfortable. Lighting Enhancements: ICL-300 In-Depth 🔆 The ICL-300 is our newest addition, specifically designed for inner canopy illumination. This LED offers a targeted light boost under the canopy, enhancing flower growth in lower and shaded areas—ideal for maximizing yield and light efficiency. • Dual Spectrum Technology: The ICL-300 provides a custom spectrum designed to penetrate deeper into the plant canopy, promoting robust bud formation throughout. • Enhanced Light Distribution: With strategically positioned diodes, the ICL-300 reduces shadowing and balances light distribution to all parts of the plant. • Energy Efficiency & Heat Management: This light is designed to be energy-efficient, running cooler and reducing the risk of heat stress within the grow space. The inner canopy light gives the plants exactly what they need, particularly during the flower stage when bud sites deep in the canopy can benefit from more direct exposure. However, after noticing slight leaf burn on some plants, I’ll hold off a bit longer before fully integrating this light to ensure optimal adjustment. Looking Forward 🌟 As we continue dialing in conditions, it’s all about balance, precision, and taking proactive steps to optimize every aspect of the grow environment. We’ll keep a close watch on the canopy height, and next week, I’ll aim to fine-tune the light integration even further with the ICL-300. P.S. - ICL-300 and CO₂ Sensor 🌱 The TrolMaster CO₂ Sensor (MBS-S8) has been crucial for real-time CO₂ adjustments, ensuring the plants get exactly what they need without constant monitoring. Combined with the ICL-300’s spectrum flexibility, these tools make an unbeatable setup, allowing for nuanced control over plant growth and development. As always, a huge thanks to the Grow Fam for the tips, support, and enthusiasm! I’m excited to see what these next weeks will bring as these plants reach their full flowering potential.

Hello and Welcome back 🌱 It‘s now 7 days ago since I put them in Water to Germinate and now it‘s their 5th day of growing. Yesterday, they got their first 4 hours of darkness and now i‘m slowly going down to 18/6 light schedule. I admit, the environment was sometimes very off due to experiments with VPD and leaf temperatur but I think I can dile it in correctly for this growing stage and beyond (hopefully). I was trying to see what happens if I stress them a little and hoped they would grow faster but they 100% didn‘t like it. They heat up pretty fast when the Air is too hot and dry because the roots are not developed and the plant is not established enough. An established plant can stay outside in the heat of the sun and still have cool leaves. So my environment for this stage is as above (27°C,70%RH). Light at 15000 Lux (≈370 ppfd) a little high but I‘ve noticed some stretching and I asumed they wanted more light and I really don’t want any more stretching. My media comes without nutriens so i feed little amounts of it every time they dry out enough. This is a Indica dominant strain so I asume they will stay fairly smal. Btw. If anybody wonders if CO2 bags work, check out the Video I uploaded. They are still seedlings (not really in Veg yet) and so i‘m treating them as such for the rest of the week. Root developement is now the top priority wich, if you didn‘t know, is better in a smal pot first because they are more likely to develope secondary roots but we’ll see. I heard It‘s like topping just underneath the plant. When they are ready to be transplanted I most likely will take the first three. Update: I did all the preperations for Transplant bc I was worried about root bound. I took Nr. 4 out and washed it as carefully as I could to expose the roots. Some of them got stuck on harder peaces of dirt and got ripped off. But it looks like alot of secondary roots developed instead of just one long taproot, wich is nice. I assume i can transplant them in the next few days. I rearanged the plants according to the Lux reading, wich is highest in the middle so the bigger plants (Nr.1 and Nr. 3) went to the sides. Maybe Nr.1 got the „smal“ genetics and it’s not anything environmental. thanks for following along this far and happy growing! Update: hey guys so yesterday I noticed, that the roots are coming out of the bottom. They were trying to get to the bottom of the three pots 😭 i had to do an emergency Transplant wich went very bad because they were stuck in the little pots. I don‘t think i‘m going to use these kind of pots anymore because they were not easy to get out. I even dropped Nr. 3 but luckily nothing bad happened. After the transplant both Nr. 1 and 2 were already ready to get more light. But Nr.3 was turning away from the light and the leaves were hanging down. So to lower the stress and encourage root groth I redusced the amount of light to a minimum and lowered the Temperature and highten the RH. This seemed to work well because the leaves were purking up again. The next day after 6-7 hours of darkness they are doing fine again but i‘m going to give them a little longer to establish themselves in the new pot. I changed the light schedule to 18/6 since I had to give them more darkness yesterday. I hope everything goes smothly from now on.
