small things put big things into perspective this week ... it sure feels longer than 7 days this baby plant week ... the new seedling is doing great, and with the new home I don't have to mess with it as much. i have to bring the light very close to the seedling to prevent stretching. unfortunately, the light directly above the seedling prevents me from really enjoying the growth visually and taking lots of pictures, still, the camera and timelapse helps. i think i should have started the seedling elsewhere then brought it to the pot when the roots were developed more, but it is safer here - even if it seems a little slow growing. i think the growth will sprout once the roots are directly exposed to the pressurized nutrients. it was fun dosing and using the diy doser, even though I had to prepare and dispose of a 50-gallon nutrient batch when I only really needed 2 gallons for the hpa garden. still, I can't measure things accurately manually so the plant(s) has a better chance this way. also, i get to run the doser commands manually, which is making me learn and understand better the challenges it will take to make multi-zone dosing reliably autonomous girlfriend and i are looking forward to a second week of grow

16.2.25: I decided to check out the lower canopies of all plants to see if I need to get rid of any foliage. I did get rid of a few small branches and leaves. However, whilst I was doing this, I saw more garden pegs from my LST remaining. There were about 6 or more in Pink Mist alone. Additionally, on Watermelon, there were some left in, too. I'm so annoyed to see that because the plants are really stretching, and I could've potentially disrupted this by leaving the pegs in for all this time without realising it. 🤞 that I haven't compromised things too much. We'll see. I watered today with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients; ♡ .8g Green Leaf Nutrients PK booster ♡ .5g Ecothrive Biosys I ordered quite a few things for the garden. I got Greenleaf Nutrients Sea K(elp) and Mega Crop Parts A+B. To go with their PK Booster I got last month. I'm excited to try it all together. Next run, maybe just using these. We'll see how it goes. 18.2.25: The plants are going crazy for water! Everything is getting used right up so fast! Today, I decided to add some more Black Strap Molasses to add some carbs and other micronutrients. I'll add the jar with the label in the photos section above. I watered a very small amount to each plant. What I put in: ♡ Black strap molasses 150g ♡ 2g Sea K(elp) Greenleaf nutrients. I dissolved everything in 4ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. 19.2.25: I received the majority of the garden purchases that I made. I'm still waiting for the Ecothrive Life Cycle. I wanted to top dress, but it's been delayed unfortunately. I am using my Greenleaf nutrients products which I bought on Amazon. I got the Mega Crop 2 part system Part A and Part B. I have the Sea K(elp), and the bud explosion PK booster. I really wanted to get some of their sweet candy asking read many positive reviews. Unfortunately, for me, this is unavailable to buy currently. So that's a little disappointing. I needed to do a good watering so when my nutes were delivered today, I got excited 🤗 I watered 2ltrs of dechlorinated water per plant, PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients: ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part B ♡ .5g Sea K(elp). The plants drank this up within a few hours. I'm going to try and hold off on watering in hopes that my Ecothrive Life Cycle will arrive so I can top dress and water it in then. 20.2.25: My Ecothrive Life Cycle arrived yesterday, and the plants are ready for their top dress and a good watering in. I have some Biobizz Light Mix, Canna Coco,and perlite. I'm going to use this as a base to mix my amendments in. I'm going to fill my 5 gallon bucket with about 4.5 gallons of my top dress mix. I will distribute this across 6, 4-5 gallon pots. Then I will water in well with Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Parts A+B and Sea K(elp). I've made a crude attempt to video mixing my top dress. Hey everyone :-). Today is the flowering day 56 since the time change to 12/12 h. Both phenotypes continue to develop great 😍. The flowers are getting thicker and thicker and are slowly but surely coming to an end 😄. They smell extremely tasty 😍. On the leaves you can clearly see that it is slowly consuming its last nutrients :-). Next week the trichomes will be checked and then a decision will be made when and how they are rinsed :-). It was poured 3 times this week per pot with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled :-). Día 29, estoy ya un poco alucinado, es día 29 y no paran de crecer...he cambiado el agua he Intento subir un poco el ppm al agua, y me da excesos... Así que decido dejarlo bajo a 300ppm y creo que lo voy a dejar así hasta el final... Llevan enzimas de limpieza que descomponen el abono así que dejaré que se auto alimenten porque van super bien ... Haber si pasan hambre.. pero no lo veo claro...en fin no me quiero pasar en el engorde meterle mucho abono y están super verdes bonitas, y florecen a lo bestia así que dejaré que se consuman un poco el abono de las hojas... Día 36 veo que empiezan a tener carencia de magnesio y calcio, he añadido no sé, una locura de magnesio y calcio, también melaza, ácidos fulvicos y humicos y pk bastante.. lo fui subiendo de 150ppm a 400ppm y vi que se lo comían rápido y subían las hojas , al fondo vi que se empezaban a quemar las hojas y algunos pelos por falta de magnesio y calcio así, que me volví loco... De 400 ppm a 800ppm va cargada a tope... espero ahora no causar ningún exceso ... Mañana miraré como reaccionan a la bomba que les he metido van a tope al máximo, si veo que tienen exceso ,no habrá otro remedio que bajar ppm quitando y metiendo agua limpia, y si veo que van bien en las dejo... En teoría voy bajo de ppm tendría que ir a 1200ppm como mínimo, para la semana que voy y más si le añado co2... Pero bueno iré con 800ppm si veo que va bien lo dejo si veo que piden más le añadiré , de momento mañana investigaré... 😅😅 Día 37 por mucho que ayer les metí, más magnesio encimas ácidos fulvicos etc... No he visto ningún cambio... Así que he vuelto a indagar en el tema.... Y creo que más bien tienen carencia aparte del magnesio y calcio, tenían carencia de posforo y potasio, así que como no, me he vuelto loco echándole pk.... Tenía una ppm de 450 se lo subí a 800 y empezaron a subir las hojas, estaban como apagadas ... Total que me vine arriba y les he metido casi 1400 de ppm de sopetón... Así que mañana una de dos, o están quemadas por exceso , ( que no me extrañaría...) o están las hojas buscando la luz y engordando como locas.... Bueno como dije al principio del diario aprendo del error acierto... Y bueno ya se que en la 3 semanas de floración piden ya magnesio calcio y pk , el calcio magnesio que tenía , tenía nitrógeno y me dio exceso por eso estaban un poco con garra... Está vez he comprado calmag de biobizz que es orgánico y no contiene nitrógeno o eso e entendido... Pero si tiene será orgánico... La semaine s'est bien passée, j'ai introduit le sensation verte dans l'alimentation, j'ai augmenté la quantité d'arrosage à la fin de la semaine aussi, la plus grande plante mesure 112 cm, la plus petite a changé et mesure maintenant 70cm. L'odeur devient de plus en plus précise, fruitée, citronnée, alléchante. La température, c'est n'importe quoi, ça monte à 33, ça redescend à 24, pourtant il ne fait pas chaud chez moi et j'ai un extracteur de compèt, peut être rajouter un intracteur de plus... J'ai arrosé avec les engrais en début de semaine avec un ppm de 550 et un pH de 5.8 puis j'ai arrosé avec un litre d'eau par pot à 5.5 de pH et à 14ppm( Mont roucoux) les plantes ont eu un peu soif mais elles vont bien.

The run continues nicely, we still had some temperatures of nutritive solution a little high with the heat of Danielle. It drops drastically in 2 days so I will finally finish this growth in the calm one and will be able to begin my bloom on September 24th. I apply hydrogen peroxide at a rate of 0.5ML/L, twice a week as a treatment. The root Rot X is used every ten days when changing the nutritive solution. I put less water in my system, in order to create a wet zone and a dry zone, I make sure that the roots are always immersed of course. As soon as the temperature drops, I will switch to 800 ppfd for the end of growth and depending on the evolution of the plants I may add some sensi grow a and b to increase the ec a little. If you are attentive, you will observe on the tips of the leaves or even on the leaves, spots of burns or deficiencies, it is simply the consequence of the pythium a few days earlier. The last growth update will be around September 24/25.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! MY WEED LOOKS LIKE WEED! It's sticky to the touch. My fingers smell like chocolate and mint and dankness after defol. The trichs are absolutely insane and the flowers are now legit buds. 😍 I know everyone that's done this before is like "... yeah that's how it works." but as this is my first time .. you know.. *fart noise* 👆 Jog on. Having a random fall heat wave this weekend but humidity is steady around 45% during lights and no more than 60% in closed tent with new outtake fan. Staying heavy on the defol to keep problem spots like leaf overlaps and light blockers at bay since the RH is still a few points above where I want it. I've also found that 16 Hour dark periods, in my personal observation with no other experience, seems to have a positive effect on the plants. A few times this week I've had plans at night and had to dark tent it early since I still don't have a timer. It's almost like my plants are fast forwarding through flower with crazy trich and full buds by start of Week 4. Little Danny on the left is way more of a classic structure with 9 long main colas along the outside and smaller sites through the middle. Big Arnold is a super stretched out net weaved nightmare of single bud sites with a 4-5 traditional colas but most of the flowers are very spread along the net, I definitely experimented more with LST on Arnold. I remember looking at them both when I got them and said "I bet little Danny will end up with a higher yield" and if those colas go Superfudge Judy Bloom on me, it just might. Hello all and welcome to the much anticipated beginning of vegetation for these five Epsilon F1 Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. Allow me to introduce Ally, Normani, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila. All five girls have pushed put their 2nd node (3 fingers) and node 3 is on the way out. I expect all five girls to take off from here, and so the next seven days are going to be big. I will start fertigation today. For comparison purposes the Day 1 here means Day 1 of veg. For Ally, Normani, and Lauren this is day 11 since breaking ground, for Dinah day 10, and for Camila it is day 9. For the rest of this grow I will increment days from here but it's really easy to work out days since breaking ground as it is a simple matter of day + 10, 9, or 8 respectively. Day 1: Fertigated 2l. Day 2: Right ok. Can you actually believe this response in 24h? The poor girls were STARVING. Wow look at the change in color! Wow look at the growth!! Ally is most advanced, Camila least. It is fascinating so see them develop! They are growing faster and faster now. So let us talk about the elephant in the room a little bit. Phenotypes. At the moment there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that this crop will be anything other than uniform. Nevertheless there are some clear differences in some of the girls. So let's have a look shall we: Ally (center), Normani (closest to the middle purple basil), and Lauren (opposite side to Normani): These three girls are not quite identical, but it is a pretty challenging game of spot the difference. Dinah: Okay so Dinah is coming in noticeably darker than her sisters, with a little more tendency to claw, and with quite a bit larger and more angular serrations. Her first leaves are also a different shape. Camila: Little Camila had a twin, but I killed her with some overzealous tweezing before I realised what I had. She came in with only one cotyledon, and she came in last. Her first leaves are quite different to the rest of Fifth Harmony. She is also showing slighty more narrow leaves. She is lastly also very slightly more pale than her sisters. Are these phenotype differences? I mean in terms of the environment, feeding, watering, substrate, temperature, light, airflow... well these girls are all in the same pot, so unless I am particularly haphazard in my mixing and fertigation (which I can assure you I am not) I do not think it likely that these ladies have significant enough environmental difference to account for these quite clear visual differences. I am absolutely fascinated to continue to witness this, and it has only now occurred to me what a great privilege it is to be able to grow the world first F1 cannabis hybrids, and what an astounding honor to be one of the very first hobby growers to do so! The fact that RQS made this happen by not only supplying the seeds and other merch and goodies, but also sending expedited international shipping so as to fit within my arbitrary timescales is almost unbelievable. When these guys (on their website) say that it is their belief and mission to forge the path to worldwide legalisation, they are not hollow corporate whispers, it is their core of being. Cannabis everywhere is truly blessed to have such a worthy and proactive ambassador. Bravo RQS! I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 3: Well look at this growth again!! These ladies have responded to feeding really well. Fertigated 3l. Day 4: Growth is accelerating fast, these ladies will be ready for their first training soon. I am starting to formulate an idea what to do. I am thinking of topping Ally and LST on the rest. Day 6: Fertigated 3l. Ladies growing fast now. Will soon be time to start training. However! The secondary nodes are developing strongly. Hmmm Day 7: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated the three fingered leaves from Ally and tucked the five fingered under other plants. End if week summary: Well when they said "hybrid vigour" they were not joking. Look at day 1 and day 7 side by side after approx 6 days into veg growth. Wow.
