Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week. There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now. As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed. I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2. Gorgeous looking plant, very thick and dense main cola which is gonna hold the 70% of the weight, however the secondary branches develop dense fat and compact flowrs as well, I would love to apply LST on this strain by gea seeds when I grow her again because I think I will. Day 96, 15th of December 2020: Hi! A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one. Pretty lady.... Little bushy just checked by Christmas she is done but I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts. The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December.... Only flushing and no more nutritient used. I feel the end I am proud of this little lady really nice easy growing strain. Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off.... The last 4 days she will get 4 days darkness only ventilation will be working and no more water ;)

She has not grown much only 2cm the ice has very short internode spacing. Her stigmas are puffing out like cotton balls and she is still going although I believe she had some kind of infection no fragrance but definitely developing flowers she stands at approximately 32cm

Starting week 3, the ladies look good as far as I can tell 😉 The slight problems in week 2 turned out to be a Cal Mag problem. I have a value of 5.25 to 1 in the irrigation water, I have this value with bitter salt balanced out that a 3 to 1 value is created and also foliar fertilization was carried out, this seems to be good for the ladies. As an information, the Cherry Cola Auto already has a very strong smell so it is not recommended without an activated carbon filter. I hope the aroma becomes even more intense when it blooms 😋 Week 3 Day 6 it appears the Cherry Cola Auto is now in pre-flowering I will adjust the fertilizer next week for pre-flowering. The Gorilla Cookies Auto shows no signs of pre-flowering yet.

I just entered flowering stage, I switched to the bloom nutrients and I've stopped putting Rhino Skin like 2weeks ago and now am adding NIRVANA to help with the phosphorus I've also gave them a well needed defoliation try to focus all the energy in the pistils I've dropped my lights as well and my I've been keeping an eye for my temp. Don't want it to go above 80° The order am mixing my nutrients are: •hydroguard •Nirvana •CalMag •Bloom A •Bloom B • pH balance to 5.8 So far their pryin' up wards after I dropped the lights the seem to respond well.

This is a new seedling I topped think I’ll keep 8 tops was considering only keeping 4 but I’m going for 8 there all staying up equal hight on there own Tied her down she good! 8 nice tops one more week and flower time!

Hello. Wow! There has been a lot of color changing going on here. I'll be harvesting in 6 days. I've flushed 3 times so far and I will do 1 more flush before harvest. I had a extra #2 clone and put it in the garden, where I harvested the onions. I wanted to test for powdery mildew and pest resistance. I took some tester/taster clippings and they will be dry in a few days. Nothing else for this week. Have Fun. Chuck.

Hi guys ! This week was a little bit tricky : I got bugs into my coco coir (Video above), and my EC out was a little bit to high. I've tried to give her 1.5 EC because the blooming started (J29), but few hours later, the leaves of the plants was "eagles claw", So i flushed the coco with a bit of flawless to return to an EC out at 1.3. PH is still 5.8 The plant don't seem to be affected by the bugs.. But i've read that they could kill the roots.. I will treat the bugs tomorrow with Neem oil, I wish everything will be fine.. >> Please comment if you met this shit, and what have you done to solve this problem ? About the feeding, I will stop the humic fulvic and start to ad slowly the pk boost when the first buds will come. I also add 1ml/l of Calimag cause i use RO water. See you next week !! 😄🕉️

Day 120 Smells good buds are fatter and looking better then I thought last week, I flushed but I think I may have caused nutrient burn or nitrogen since my stems have turned purple also along the buds and tips or ideas of what I should try thanks Day 127 photos at the bottom

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
