This venture’s ultimate objective is to position myself as a preeminent cannabis cultivator in my locale. As I navigate through the labyrinth of regulatory licensing, I’m conducting a trial run with my seedlings under continuous lighting conditions and a minimal nutrient regime. My primary goal during this phase is to identify any potential hiccups that could hinder the growth process and ultimately impact the productivity of my intended commercial operation. As I delve deeper into this exploratory phase, I draw invaluable insights from the thriving cannabis community, whose collective wisdom informs my decision-making process. Given my geographical location and available resources, I’ve opted for a strategic shift in my cultivation strategy. Previously, I’ve been procuring seeds at an average cost of $10 to $22 per seed, with a relatively broad success rate variance, ranging from 70% to 85%. However, an alternative presents itself in the form of local cultivators. These businesses offer cannabis plants aged between 2 to 4 weeks, boasting an impressive variety of over 100 strains. These juvenile plants are offered at a cost-effective rate: an average of $100 for eight plants. With a success rate hovering between 70% and 95%, these plants offer excellent value. Essentially, I can access pre-grown plants at a substantial discount, in turn significantly boosting my chances of success. Consequently, I am poised to transition away from growing cannabis from seeds to harvesting. By sourcing my plants from local cultivators, I stand to significantly reduce overhead and production time—an undeniably smart move from a business standpoint. This strategic pivot signifies the end of an era and the exciting beginning of a more efficient and cost-effective chapter in my cannabis cultivation journey. I am currently outlining a plan to expand my cultivation by acquiring several juvenile plants, which should be happening between July 1st and 3rd. The new additions to my garden will include Acapulco Gold, Gelato, White Truffle, and Runtz. These will be cultivated in harmony with the existing growth, which comprises God’s Gift, Northern Lights, and the final surviving F1 Epsilon. My primary objective is to establish the most efficient and cost-effective supply chain possible. I aim to achieve this through the use of an off-grid system that runs solely on solar power, which will ensure complete sustainability and renewability. From a business standpoint, this approach is advantageous as it allows me to leverage the growth of high-quality plants that are already in the cultivation phase. The new plants are expected to arrive in about a week. If the growth rate of the currently cultivated plants doesn’t meet expectations, I’ll be incorporating several of the newly arrived plants into the hydroponics systems. This methodical approach aims to ensure an optimal growth rate and the highest possible yield. I also wish to address the cannabis grower community directly. I hope that my decision to skip the seed-to-plant stage does not cause any offense. My intentions are simply focused on maximizing quality and output, while minimizing our carbon footprint. I believe this approach is in the best interest of sustainability and efficiency, without compromising on the quality that our community values so highly. As we proceed with this venture, we’re currently in the phase of collecting equipment and navigating through the licensing process. Hey everyone! 😁 Another week, another update and I've learnt a lot this week! It seems my theory that I was underfeeding Puff was right (I mean, it's not rocket science and I confused charts haha) and I had to do something to fix this issue! Some people I talked with recommended me to buy a product called "Revive" from Advanced Nutrients since it would help with a faster recovery than just adapting the nutrients... and it seems it works! I applied it twice (this week's post) and the next and the improvements are really noticeable! (specially now!) My concern now tho is when I should start flushing! Puff should be ready soon and supposedly I should start doing it two weeks before harvest... and I should harvest when trichomes are 50 cloudy and 50 amber... but how can I tell when I those two weeks are close? The trichomes should be 20% amber? 10% amber? It's confusing! 😱 I know as well that the two weeks flush is just a number, I could also flush for one week but I still don't know WHEN it'll be the right time to start doing it but I think that by the middle of the next week or by the end of it I'll start doing it. 3 seeds from barneys farm : zkittlez Og auto. Diary : Day 1: I dug a pit and cleaned my dirt with metal grid and a wheelbarrow & Installed the greenhouse. Day 2 : I rotated my dirt and added universal soil. 4 x 70l to area of 6m2 . I also planted seeds in universal soil without sprouting first. Day 3 : I gave water and checked for sprouts. Bought moist meter and dripping hose. Installed those and making the greenhouse more moisty now. Putted seeds in small sprout basket for now. Feeling : Verry happy for my first time. Lots to learn.. . Excited

A lot of growth this week, the back right is rather spindly and tall compared to the rest so will need to train her down quite a bit I think. I have some soft ties coming in the post tomorrow so will be doing some extensive LST over the next few days, aiming to spread out taller plants and giving the shorter ones a chance to catch up. I did do some HST this week, but I botched a few up and had to add a splint to one of them. The tall one also has a couple yo-yo supports as she was leaning over a little bit. PH swings are less frequent but do happen from time to time, went as low as 4.7 PH during lights out but doesn’t seem to have affected them. I am determined to have an even canopy by the end of the transition period this time 💪

A little late posting this week. (Wednesday) Smell is strong, even touching the plant now requires serious hand washing. Plant is showing a lot of terpenes and is basically kicking ass. Hairs have started turning red as we approach the last couple weeks. I’ll start taking a closer look at the colour of terpes next week and be ready for a flush. (Friday) This thing is chunky! Really happy with this grow so far. Added my first video too. (Sunday) Checked the trichomes this am and all still clear. I’m guessing 2 more weeks so the flushing starts next feed.

Howdy it is day 63 and in 2 days it is time to harvest. Since 2 weeks i feed clear Walter only. They get 16 hours darkness before harvest. All the plants are really🔥 My favourites are still 3G and Wedding Gelato. The smell and Look is crazy. You will see i guess Also North Thunderfuck and Hulkberry is good looking. The weight of North Thunderfuck for the dice is insane. I wish everyone a nice Day and good time. Stay safe 💚

Die letzten Wochen vor der Ernte waren echt noch ein auf und ab der Gefühle. Das Wetter, sehr feucht und kalt, hat es mir leider echt schwer gemacht. Budrod in einer Cola der Pineapple Express 😮‍💨 Die Cola stand deutlich im Windschatten, deshalb hoffe ich, dass sich der Pilz nur in dem Mikroklima ausbreiten konnten, die Sporen sind aber leider überall. Jetzt hängt alles zum trocknen und ich muss die Buds genau untersuchen, später bei trimmen werde ich ganz genau jeden Bud mir von Innen anschauen. Außerdem ist mir die Lemon Orange deutlich abgekackt. Die krasse Geldfärbung kam innerhalb von zwei Tagen. Ich glaube es hat mit einer trockenen Phase mit hängenden Blättern kurz zuvor zutun, in der ich 1-2 Tage zu spät gegossen habe. Hat das Bodenleben wohl garnicht verkraftet und ist gekippt. Trotzdem hat sie einen echt intensiven süßlich Zitronenduft. Klein aber fein würd ich zu meinen Buds sagen. Update nach dem ersten Tasting. Mein absoluter Favorit aus dem Grow. Geschmacklich sanft wie der Duft, liegt mir total. Werde sie aufjedenfall wieder growen.
