This week I had almost no time at all due to family commitments - I'm also completely at a loss as to what deficiency my plants are suffering from. I would say a serious calcium magnesium deficiency. But why? I mixed every watering with calmag - I suspect that the pH value in the soil was not right at times. The deficiency came overnight with the second compost tea. Oh well - I hope I can still salvage something. I would be very grateful for help. Thank you 🙏

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Alright guys so last time we went from 1400 to 900 ppm only adding plain water She is doing great, developing more new buds and fattening those small pop con buds you get below where lights wont get thru with that much intensity.... Smells wicked good and should taste awesome once its dried and cured Im still going to week some more weeks I dont know if is the region but my plants over here since is always spring and SuMMer they tend to produce and last longer i just noticed because even tho we at week 15 they still growing new buds which is kind of amazing I still got one gorilla girl xl This one is going to grow using only LST / HST and defoliation at the latest Otherwise it will slow down production Learned the hard way with this strain My first one died the second one got eaten by a worm go figure and this third seed made it so far and when she was flowering I accidentally main line her, good thing duct tape was near me so I could help her heal and with so much caring she was finally up again and did not lose any buds but that took too much energy while pre flowering did not create many spots but good dense fat buds full of crystal and at least you get to see those impressive colors Thanks for giving me support Likes and comments are always welcome You can also suggest me things as well I am all ears brothers happy growing Follow me for more at the Instagram @cannagrowersiriuz Have fun P. OMG too, I have been keeping my go pro doing time lapse photos in the tent, I made a video with first 26days in 3 minutes Check it out! Wow, growth is beginning to light a fire in my gut, feels good man! Although, I'm starting to get curious about plant #3. For the past few days, this girl (3), has been not growing in girth or height. Although she seems fuller and healthier.. Gonna wait her out! OH Another thing, A great big SHOUT OUT to Sacred Geometry and Astarte for giving me great advice on my stem issue with plant 2. I went ahead and chose SG's for my answer simply because I felt topping the pot was the right call. Oh but be aware, that my plant heights all went down due to topping off the pots with more soil... But I feel more comfortable about that plant now. Also I heeded SG's advice on Fox Farm Nutrients and halved the recommendations this week. All right, on to my daily log entries. These can all be found in the pics above, but I feel like it makes my comments more beefy.... 12/17 Humidifier ran out of H2O, trimmed first leaves & suckers off Plant 3. I know she's little but I hate her having to work harder for those terrible nutrient suckin leaves 12/18 Rinsed all plants w/ PH Balanced H2O & watered lightly around stem. Sat Back and enjoyed growth. Man, 4 is kick ass! Put in CO2 cannisteter @6:07P 12/19 Trimmed last two weird leaves off plant 3, only left 2 pairs up top hopefully enough... just wanted to get it focused. Topped $4 too, left 3 nodes 12/20 Fed w/ 1.5 tsp/ga Big Bloom / Big Grow, 1/8 tsp/ ga Clean Kelp topped pots w/Dirt (SO SG!) so heights went down Did not top #3's pot too short. Rinsed plants w/ PH Balanced H2O TDS @ 1154 PPM PH out 4.35. 12/21 Topped plant 1, removed bad leaves, P2 pinched baby suckers. (I realize now I'm not really topping, I'm more just trimming suckers) 12/22 CO2 juices on P1 leaves caused almost holes thru it Dropped light to 19 1/2" f/ #3 12/23 Measured plants, shook up CO2 cannister #4 Power Growth! #3 seems to be fuller but no measurement changes! GG12 didn’t stretch and is pretty small but is in full flowering mode, the other 3 are still stretching but look very close to start. They all look super happy 😁 in their super soil, I don’t feed other than a silica supplement in each watering, everything else the plants need is available to them in the soil.

Tropical Storm Ian in the vicinity. Thankfully not much rain or wind so far. One midweek feed. Pots will need a while to dry out from all this rain. Hopefully no insect or mould/mildew damage.

Hey now....This week went pretty good, I transplanted both seedlings from solo cups to 3.4 gallon airpots on day 16, and I also began high frequency fertigation that same day. I am running lights from 12AM to 6PM, and I feed at lights on and every 5 hours after that. Nutes are Silica, Cal Mag, and Maxi Gro with an EC of about 1.2 and a PH of 5.9ish. I am planning to top them both this week probably around day 25ish to the 3rd node, once I feel the roots are strong enough to bounce back instantaneously to the topping. I will start training the mainline within 24-48 hours of the topping as long as they respond well to the topping. I am still only running a 100 Watt Led light for them, but I am thinking about running a 400watt Super Metal Halide Bulb just to build the manifold, then switch over to LED's for flower. I did squeeze some of the bubble hash from the first planet of the grapses run, and all I can say is wow.....it truly tastes amazing and will absolutely put someone on all fours. Still rolling along! Got the nutrient burn corrected, flushed them good and hit them with cal mag so def past all that now. They have both really taken off with flowering I did a really heavy demolition the other day to open them up for light. Both really starting to smell good and produce the frost! Growing Fast Buds Tangie'Matic again. This was one of the first strains I grew and I had great results the first time. Looking forward to seeing if I can up my game at all this time. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. My experience overall can be best described as an interesting enlightening process. Since it was my first time growing it was definitely a learning experience. From the height being as tall as it was to the high winds in the area making it difficult to keep them from toppling when the buds were reaching full maturity. Thinking it would have benefited from more topping than just the once. The terps that this strain has are exquisite!! I am going to miss walking by them towering over me and just breathing in their berry cream aroma, taking in the sweetness like I had just had some dessert. Let’s break it down: Growth & Structure All five phenos continue to impress, with strong, bushy growth and uniform structure across the board. They’re praying to the ThinGrowLED Model Ones, which have been running on channel one only, and they’re absolutely loving it. The leaf development is lush and vibrant, a sign that they’re thriving under the current conditions. Environmental Conditions We’re keeping things dialed in with stable environmental parameters: Temperature: 20.7°C Humidity: 57.2% CO2 Levels: 1569 PPM (a bit high but manageable) VPD: 1.05 kPa PPFD: 355 µmol/m²/s Each of these factors plays a crucial role in maximizing plant efficiency, and we’ll go deeper into why these values are set as they are.
