End of week 5 - Day 35 On day 33 I switched the lights off for 24 hours and back on to 12/12 yesterday so they are now officially on a flowering light schedule. This week has seen another massive boost in growth. Conditions pretty much unchanged from last week however I have changed the layout in the tent. As this is my first grow it's been trail and error up to now but I think I've got it pretty much bang on. Moved the humidifier above the smart pots so they aren't getting any moisture other than the feed. Also moved all the plants further down the tent and away from the heater. I've added a video this week so you guys can get a proper look at the set up and advise me accordingly. Includes the air moving fan and natural Co2 generator. Lights have been moved around the filter so that they can be kept at 18" from the tops of the plans. I have had to move them 3 times already this week as some dominant colas are shooting up. Final training of tallest colas happened tonight. I topped the tallest 2 on each plant hoping that they now wont stretch too high during the first 3 weeks of flower. Head space is a bit limited in my tent. I think as of next week they may benefit from some defoliation lower down but I'm hesitant to do too much at this stage while they transition from veg to flower. Nutes wise I've now introduced BioGreen X-Bloom as per my feed chart. They seem to like a slightly stronger feed than the chart suggests at around 0.1 - 0.2 higher. Run off EC and PH has been within 0.3 again so I'm taking this as a nice equilibrium. I have been feeding on a wet and dry schedule of every 3 days while in veg. I'm led to believe that at this point every other day would now be needed and after 3 weeks switch to every day feed? As always your guys feedback would be great as each part of the grow is completely new to me. Hoping I've got things right up to now and confident these girls will produce some really nice buds! I was happy when i've seen the weight, i expected 70 or 80 grams and it's the double. I'm not sure if i will grow this strain again soon, there is plenty of strain waiting to grow.

1/17 - Day 62 / Day 35 Flower Pots felt dry so decided to give them about a half gallon of spring water each. This wasn't enough to induce runoff. Will save that for a bigger watering later this week. Nutrient issues continue to persist. **************************************************** 1/19 - Day 64/ Day 37 Flower - Feeding day Pots were feeling dry again. After about a week of laying off the nutrients following the flush, I gave them a feeding today with their watering. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have waited this long to re-introduce nutrients as some of the lag in recovery is probably due to the fact that I flushed all of the food. The feeding solution consisted of the following: - 1 gallon distilled water - 5ml of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - 10ml of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) Adjusted the solution to the following conditions before feeding: - pH: 6.5 - TDS: 303ppm - EC: .6 I gave each of the 5 gallon pots about a half gallon each of the solution, followed by enough spring water to induce runoff (approximately another half gallon). I tested the runoff for both of my 5 gallons and returned the following readings; Z51: - pH: 6.4 - TDS: 649ppm - EC: 1.3 Z52: - pH: 6.2 - TDS: 669ppm - EC: 1.3 I was encouraged that both plants are close to being within my ideal range and hopefully this means that they will start to show signs of recovery in the next week. **************************************************** 1/21 - Day 66 / Day 39 Flower I'm growing in an attic space and we've had a drop in temperature over the last couple days, my heating system was working overtime and more heat was rising into the space. I woke up today and the temp in my grow tent was registering in at 87F. I decided to play around with my temperature threshold on my fan controller, reducing the max heat threshold to 80 from 85. What I didn't account for was that I had a low humidity threshold of 30% (which I assumed meant that that fan would stop running if it hit this point). It turns out that my fan actually kicks ON when it hits that threshold... As a result. my fan was short cycling through the night where it would turn on when the heat exceeded 80 (causing humidity to decrease) then turn on again when it hit my low humidity threshold - creating wide swings in my temp and humidity. I'll tell you what, if I don't produce any viable bud this grow, I can honestly say I made up for the loss based on the education I've received. The nutrient deficiency issues are still present but don't appear to be getting worse. The leaves on my Z51 are pretty pale, it's clear they are starving for nitrogen but I am reluctant to try and address issue at this point. I'm planning 2 more light feedings over the next two weeks so hopefully this will be enough to get them to harvest. **************************************************** Day 1/22 - Day 67/Day 40 Flower My girls are really starting to frost up and the colas feel noticeable more dense by the day. I would have thought that the smell would have been stronger by now. Not sure if this is a consequence of my carbon filter doing such a good job or whether the buds are having developmental issues. When I get up close and smell the buds, I get a faint aroma but not the strong sweet and gassy smells that I've read about on other journals. I watered the 5 gallons today with a gallon of spring water each. My soil is not as airy as it once was and has started to cake up around the roots. I do my best to try and loosen up the dirt, usually to no avail. I was short for time so I didn't have a chance to test the runoff.

I’m very satisfied with my grow. Next week will be my final week of veg then I will be flipping to 12-12 very excited and I will also start setting up my trellis net. These girl are about to take off 🚀🚀🚀

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She has a fairly wide node spacing, which is nice as it makes her easier to manage than a bushy plant with tight node spacing. 7/12- Our summer weather continues to be hot, although we do get a break from the heat when we're lucky enough to get some rain which also helps mitigate the daily watering. 7/14- The Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds is definitely going through a growth spurt and is gaining inches by the day now! Yesterday it rained the better part of the day, which provided over an inch of rain. Today,I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photo approx. 3g of well water from the garden hose. 7/16- Well the weather and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo are both on fire! Hopefully the weather will cool down soon, and the Papaya Sherbet photo will continue to impress!🤩 There's another week of veg for this beauty and I can't wait to see how big this lady gets! Week 3 FIMing

Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. Extreme defoliation

Last week for her now. Had her last feed other day and starting her flush tomorrow. She's put a bit of weight on like and stinking more and more 👌🏻 Looking like a lush fade coming in over this last week too. Next entry will be the harvest ✌️🏻

Well I thought she was close to harvest but she decided to have another growth spurt. I’m glad I didn’t chop her! There was lots more bud growth this week but that’s stopped now and I haven’t seen white pistils for a couple of days so I think she’s close. The pistils are turning amber slowly, there’s still only a few here and there so we’ll wait and see. Happy growing.

Been Flushing since day 60 and she has finally reached the end. REALLY like how she turned out and I think am about to but something really special in a jar!

-Sensi Seeds Research: The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #9: The plants are vigorous, they started to stretch about 2 days before the week finished. The ScrOG is filling up gently and the canopy is at the same level. There’s not much to do in the first 2 weeks of 12/12 photo period. For Beginners and new growers, this is where you stick on your Veg nutrients for another 2 weeks. They need Nitrogen to support the stretch and if you switch to bloom nootz to early they will start yellowing around the end of week 3 of Flowering, by moving their Nitrogen to save the top. Adding the right amount of Nitrogen during this phase is crucial. Not enough and it will run out for sure at the end of stretch, too much and you will start to see some claws on the leaves , tips of the leaves pointing down, and way too much nootz burns will appear. Both cases will make you loose around 20% to 25% on the yield ! To conclude the Veg, I have change one important factor that was the soil, but Cellmax BIO Soil is doing a really good job, plus the Sensi Seeds genetics which are extremely easy to grow, makes me feel very happy 😊 (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞)

At the end of the 3rd week of bloom the Dough Boy feminised is coming along with pistols appearing all over the plant. The leaves are stable green and the stem is a healthy green. The growth spurt has slowed down with the Dough Boy only gaining 2cm growth this week. The lady will be fed only as required. I will check the E.C level with the next feeding. She stands at approximately 62cm tall
