Great week for the black opium! pink and purple bud all around - her trichomes have started picking up on their production - the smell is an amazing skunky berry (Sometimes even a slight coffee odor) - my neighborhood must be getting some good wiff's. Girl scout cookies probably has one more week of stretch left - did a final final final LST on her yesterday, shes loving the flat canopy - going to create some phat buds! shes got much more nodes than the auto black opium + the internode distance looks like it will allow for really well stacked buds which I am excited for!

Oh mama! We're getting close to chop day! Look at these top buds though, literally a morphed golf ball on top. Can't wait to taste that golf ball. 😁 The plant has been going great throughout the entire cycle, hopefully things finish as they've been going. No signs of deficiencies a little excess maybe so I've been laying off on the nutes a bit.. leaves are healthy green this will be the last week of nutes. Only water from now on.

Week 7. Did nothing besides putting nutrients und water in the system. Spreaded the plants every 2 days to fill the space. Week 8 will start with 42h of darkness and flip to 12/12 afterwards. From now on I will turn off the far red during lights on period. The canopy is filled so it’s now just beneficial for putting them to sleep or waking them up. This little lady is doing ok so far. taking to her training ok and starting to add some girth. She is a little untidy at the moment but as I get to stretch her out a little , she should tidy up too. She is still behind the others burnt her height will soon catch them. I will flip them in the ext week I hope it she would definitely benefit from a longer veg time as the others had. OG will be ready to harvest at the end of the week for sure so Ill post harvest week😉 Amnesia and Blueberry strains needs few more days, Ill check trichomes daily with digital microscope. Day 68 and 51 - 10/29/22 - PH has been creeping up after a few days in the reservoir. Looks like it has caused some nute lockout. The sohum should have everything needed.

I made a DWC system from a water pump in a 5gallon bucket and an air pump outside the bucket. The water pump brings water up through a tube to replicate a drip ring and the air pump aerates the water in the reservoir. It's very quiet and seems to work well. I modified a design I got from my local hydroponics guy where I also got the net pot and peat pellet. I soaked the peat pellet in tap water that I'd left out overnight to evaporate out the chlorine. I put the seed in the hole in the top and pushed some peat over the hole. I kept it on a plate under a bowl in a drawer for a few days like I would do for the paper towel method. Then I put it in a rock wool cube. It didn't quite fit and I was worried that I might have hurt the root while forcing it in but it looks OK. Then I put it under my light and waited for it to sprout. Now that I've got a sprout happening, I'll plug in the DWC system and put in some starting nutrients. This is my first time running a hydroponics system after almost 10 years growing, so I'm excited :)
