1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. Started hardening off all plants this week. I was bringing them in at night for 4-5 days, then finally letting them stay out all night. Also gradually brought them more and more into the sunlight over the course of a week or so. You can see that there is a fair amount of damage from fungus gnats... and moreso of me overdoing it with neem oil (and using dawn foaming soap, which apparently is a big no-no).

I installed scrog net 120mm X 120mm

2 less hours of light, will remain on 12/12 schedule. still flushing.

Finally got round to getting this diary finished. Sorry it took so long to update, I’ve been really busy 🤷‍♂️😸 I harvested these plants just shy of two weeks ago. I took some pictures just prior to harvest. The buds came out extremely dense even though they both foxtailed. The pictures of the dry buds don’t really do them justice. They look a bit rough trimmed, not quite as well manicured as to my usual standard, but it smokes smooth and that’s all that matters 😸 The taste is thick and lingers in the mouth, you can almost chew it! It has a really strong OG Kush taste, not had much wedding cake in my time so can’t tell if that’s coming through at all 🤷‍♂️ Yielded pretty good this time round, got around 3oz per plant. All the buds were solid so not much trim to use for Rosin, but what little I did get gave me some 🔥 Rosin in return. I’ve uploaded a video of what I made. Harvest time, chopped this lady and she's now drying in the mesh rack. Sticky buds, lots of trichomes. I'll update in 6-7 days with the dry weight and initial smoke report.

In the final week of flowering, I reduced the light cycle to 11 hours and dimmed the lamp to 80% to keep temperatures lower. The light hits the plant with approximately 900 PPFD. The plants are being dried on the stem at around 21°C (70°F) and 60% relative humidity.

now it's time to see really what's King Kong... all this week only with PK, no more C4 :)

They were showing signs of Ca and Mg deficiencies and I increased my CalMg additive at 350ppm before I add my base nutrients. They seem to love it.

It's a New year, Happy 2024 Grow Diaries. Let's start with the video, I have been keeping an almost 12-12 on the plants, Watering heavy and feeding every 2-3 days. I am using additives to gain a resin boost. We are all in flower and doing fine after ICU 😓 One top cola was burned from the light creating a triple top. 2 seeds are the stars of the diary M1 and M2, although they're all FB420 seeds. The girls are coming on a treat! These are the type of girls you could strip down to near enough naked and the next day they look bushy as again👌🏼😏 this would be ideal but since we are scrog'in it's proving a bit difficult so unsure if we are going to go for a true s.o.g or use it just to create space ! The girls are coming along great and are brilliant to grow - 4 out of 5 of the girls are spot on! The middle one , is around 30cm smaller and taking her time! But apart from that super skunk is spot on! Flowers have started popping through everywhere so looking forward too seeing the profession over the upcoming weeks 😁 Happy growing 🤗😎
