So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

Baox coming along nicely after the transplant to a bigger pot. I'm planning on moving these girls outside in the next week or so, then I expect them to take off!!! 👍

Update 29/8/2021 Nothing much going on last couple of day's today the pots ran dry again so i've watered them and gave new nutrients. some leaves still start to turn yellow but i'm just leaving them as they go now. 1 plants is still not really showing any progress in growth.. the 2 others slowly seem to grow. Update 1/9/2021 Hey Folks, again not much action this week. picking some dead leaves left and right. but thats it. Really starting to think that 1 plant is lost. it doesn't show any more growth. we are slowly getting closer to the finish line. and man do i want to finish this.. and start a new cycle with all the knowledge I have now.😎 stay safe🙏

Thanks once again to RQS for sending me this girl. She's not the most fruity smoke, but more of a pine with a unique tropical/banana peel to it. A nice strain for the cannasseur, and one I'm really enjoying, especially for my back. Thank you to everyone who follows, likes, comments and supports in any way. In means a lot and keeps the passion to grow and continue uploading content on here and IG. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺

Week 3 Plant Growth Summary: Lighting: Increased PPFD from 250 to approximately 350 µmol/m²/s midway through Week 2, aligning with recommended levels for the vegetative stage. Watering: Conducted three wet-to-dry cycles. Soil Testing: A slurry test on Day 6 indicated a pH of 6.39 and an EC of 2.9 mS/cm. Nutrient Introduction: Began adding nutrients at 50% of the manufacturer's recommended levels during the third watering on Day 6. The nutrient solution had an EC of 0.53 mS/cm and a pH adjusted to 5.2. Runoff measurements showed a pH of 6.5 and an EC of 1.97 mS/cm. Optimal pH for nutrient uptake in hydroponic systems typically ranges from 5.5 to 6.5. Plant Training: Planning to top all plants near the end of Week 4. Irrigation System: Received all Tray2Grow components. With leaves now reaching the pot edges, plan to activate the system on Day 2 when plants require watering. Overall, plants are progressing well, with environmental parameters maintained within optimal ranges.

Day 43 - 1.3L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule + extra calmag (ph 6.3)(84 cm) Day 44 - 1L water with calmag (ph 6.4)(86 cm) Day 45 - 1L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule (ph 6.3)(88 cm) Day 46 - 1L water with calmag (ph 6.4)(88 cm) Day 47 - 1L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule, trimmed some lower branches, hope they finished growing in height (ph 6.3)(89 cm) Day 48 - 1L water with calmag (ph 6.5)(90 cm) Day 49 - 1L water with half dose according to biobizz schedule (ph 6.3)(91 cm) They don't have much more space to grow into, 30 cm from the lamp / tent's roof. Hopefully they are at the end of their stretch, might even give one away to make space inside the tent.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. There's something i want to correct and remark this week. About the question i asked some weeks ago on growers help, about the plant with decoloring problems (Photos 7 & 13), where i've choose the defoliation answer as the correct one. Watching the plant today, I would say that it can be an excess of co2 in the roots caused by a co2 tablet that I used during the first days of growth. You can notice how the part of the plant in the back does not present de decoloration it have in the front. Also remarking what i've told last week, i must say the SCROG is not a true SCROG, as some colas begin below others, and also colas are of different heights among all plants. Al fijarse bien se ve como la parte trasera de la planta no presenta las decoloraciones y sin embargo la frontal si. I've been busy and missed updating several of my journals. This has started to show amazing colors so wanted to share. It started REALLY showing flower late in week 5, and early in week 6 hints of purple showed up. The plant is 52 days from seed at the time of writing this. I have had an issue with just this strain with random funky leaf growth and discoloration. I have another FB Pineapple that doesn't show the same, as well as 11 other strains. Started another Blackberry seedling and it's showing the same discoloration so I'm thinking it's a genetic/strain issue. Hopefully it doesn't affect the final outcome, so far it's looking good!

Day 10 - 2 inches tall seedling. 3rd set of leaves. 4th set emerging from center. PPM 268 2 mL CalMag 4 mL Micro Grow Bloom B52 Voodoo Tarantula Piranha Rhino Skin Sensizym and Bud Candy. Day 12 - Checked PPM 255. First visible roots sticking out from netpot. Plant is green and happy. Added 2 mL CalMag PPM 300. Day 14 - Checked PPM 268. Raised bucket and plant. Light is 26 inches from top of plant. Adjusted light duration to 20 hours on and 4 hours off. Half a dozen roots sticking out from bottom of netpot. 3rd set of leaves have 5 fingers. I believe this means its no longer a seedling. Now entering VEG.

The Blumats are pretty much dialed in after a few days. I used 5ml of flying skull Z7 enzyme in my 5 gal reservoir to keep the reservoir clean. I also have been ph correcting the reservoir every morning to 5.8-6.0. The first day of week 4 I hand watered in Nutrients mix until runoff(about half gal). I removed the large fan leaves on all three plants, then I tied Down all my Mains to keep them horizontal. I applied another half gal of Nutrients mix on the 4th day of week 4. On the 6th day of week 4 I experienced a runaway with my Blumats because I changed the settings too much at once and flooded my grow box. I used a shop vac to suck up all the runoff. I refilled my reservoir, added enzymes and lowered the ph to 6.0. I then dialed in the blumats based on Blumats instructions and will only adjust in micro adjustments this time to avoid another runaway 😬 Luckily running in Coco Coir having the girls over saturated wasn't the worst thing and the roots are sucking up a lot of the extra moisture in the medium happily 😀

2024-07-13 Indoor The Indoor Lady is fading, chrystals are building and well i think the longest Time for her is over and we are slowly coming to an end. OUTDOOR Despite the bad outdoor conditions, the Tangerine Snow stands brave and strong i was feeding her today, and i think i have seen some Preflowers? this week i made Videos from Both, In and- Outdoor Plants BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low. The effect is uplifting and energising, perfect for use during the day and early evening.
