Day 49) 11/11 first week of flower has gone and still no pistils but I have no reason to think there won't; in due time. All waterings this week were 1/2 tsp of each nutrient per gallon of dechlorinated tap water ph’d between 5.5 - 6.5 and watered once a day and she just thrived on everything I gave her. OH! I almost for forgot my local hydroponic store gave me a sample of a beneficial bacteria conditioner called FishSh!t There are lots of diaries using this Sh!t and you can find them under the nutrient tab and search Fish Head Farms. They have a website with info and dosing and today was first day using so will update if I notice a substantial change. Dosing called for 1 ml per gallon of water mixed in with all other nutrients during bloom phase. I'm not really in bloom phase just yet but going light on the Sh!t till I test the effects. 📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. The little growing really good,so helped her a bit adding some flowering nutrients,that she's welcoming strongly.so i did some defoliation,maybe change a bit the lst then let her grow before defoliating more later. Olá companheiros, estas meninas da barney's farm, estão muito bem tiveram duas semanas a 24 /24h de luz agora passei a 20h de luz e 4h escuro, as meninas foram transplantadas para vaso de 26 litros, a shiskaberry está a crescer muito para cima por isso fiz um pequeno LST, abraço amigos, aceito sugestões ✌️🌱

All three plants are hermaphrodites, however, plants 1 and 2 are showing minimal signs of male with seeds developing only on lower nodes, while plant 3 looks mostly male with a few pistils only on the very top nodes. I've decided to pluck the seeds from plants 1 & 2 as they develop, and to toss plant 3 to make room for the other 2. It's not ideal and I plan to buy feminized seeds or clones for my next grow, but the bud I got the seeds from was actually really good so I'm going to try to take 1 and 2 to harvest.

After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil, I watered them in via garden hose with well water. 5/15- There's six weeks of veg for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and, with our weather finally cooperating, she's beginning to really take off! Week 4 – Flowering (Day 22–28) 🌸🌱 At the end of Week 3 (Day 21) we carried out a deeper round of defoliation and some lollipopping. By now the stretch is coming to an end, with the plants settling close to their final height. We’ve also stopped foliar feeding, since every single plant is now covered in developing buds. To keep everything protected, we refreshed the beneficial insects, better be safe than sorry, how we say in German, sicher ist sicher. Already in this early stage of flowering, we can clearly spot differences in structure, bud formation and even the first aromas. Some phenos are showing exceptional promise — those will be the ones we’ll highlight more in the coming updates. 🔎 Pheno notes so far: ZR 43 – very nice structure, already showing early bud size. ZR 68 – robust side branching, healthy development. ZR 70 – compact flowers, stacking well. ZR 82 – tall, vigorous growth, strong flower initiation. ZR 30 - Fasciation, looks very interesting, I'm quite interested on how it ends up looking, having mutations like these in the grow room are not necessarily what one is looking for commercially speaking but for me is quite special, like a Zoap Rosé special edition! 😝 Zoap Rose phenos bring floral aromas with acrid undertones, giving them a distinctive edge already at this stage.

we are finally geting closer to the end, had some minor over feeding issues but quickly sorted so pretty much no damage just few leaves have some signs of burns, nothing drastic one more week of normal feeding and then I will add pK 13/14 for a week and finally 2 weeks flushing I bought humidifier but It doesn't really do much work. Humidity is still around 50% so i hope good airflow will be anough to avoid any mould

This week went by well, I will start checking the trichomes on the Runtz at the end of this week. It should be ready for harvest in the next 2 to 3 weeks The G13 is still smelling like magic, looking majestic. The GDP buds are starting to put on weight
