Well week 19 and week 9 of flower did start Monday 10/11 but because of my delay in update last week I waited a bit to start the week. The smell is freaking AMAZING!!! Got to sample some more cured stuff and I absolutely love it!!! Still bummed the Black Widow never made it but hopefully next time. The mothers are all flushed, the temps are down, the humidity is down. I'm thinking about dimming the light a bit to see if it helps with ripening. In truth, this grow was all an experiment, lol. Mistakes were made but learned from. But the most important thing is I had alot of fun this time around. There was minimal stress/pressure which I believe is a major part in growing. I feel I really connected with the universe with this! My ultimate goal is quality first, then quantity. Quality will always be one of the pillars of life! I can't get a good pic of the trichomes but there's a decent amount of amber and will be ready for harvest on 10/20 🌕 That's pretty much it, just a waiting, lol. Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️

Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

F week 7. I had nutrient lockout and ph started to swing down. I wasn't mixed my nutes right. I should have kept more break between adding the nutes and let it blend in peace.I lost some days because of that. Now everything should be under the control. The plant smells really strong. Cola nuggets are really hard but the trichomes are still mainly transparent. 7th week ending. It's gaining weight right now (11.28.25). 8th week starts Tomorrow.

Lights 40% Feed Listed above then PH/EC adjusted D7 So the girls looks healthy they should blow up after the next feeding. Should be able to shed it's travel scars soon. D11 starting to pick up the pace 😁

Gave them water on Wednesday at 6.4ph distilled water. Began having issues with ac in my house. Temps got up to 81° and humidity rose to 60%. Been sitting around 75° and 50% humidity. On sunday they were ready for water again. My wife changed out the fish tank water on saturday, so i used 20% ratio of old tank water to distilled water and adjusted ph to 6.1. They are starting to take off and develop nodes quickly, now.

End of week 22: Overal it was a good run with the Shamans from @DutchPassion_Official . Didn't had mayor problems besides having to harvest them earlyer. I really wanted to flower them another 2 weeks but the weather/climate didn't allow me to. Still the buds came out decent as you can see for an early harvest. I will cure those buds for some time in my pots before they get smoked and will update how much weight I got out of the two plants. As you can see I made the bigger buds smaller. There is no use for me to keep big buds for showing off. Big buds just have big long stems in it, harder to dry and to fill your cure pots with.

Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day - Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores - Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ] Grow Logging Light Distance From Canopy = 65cm Substrate Temp = 16 C Substrate PH = 6.0 Normal - Moist Level 79cm = Scrog Net Height 95cm = Tree Height PPFD = 20.1 C = Tent 45% RH

Week #4 of bloom , girls are all looking good , going to remove some of the shade leaf this week to open up the canopy and get some more light to the smaller bud sites , I dialed my feed schedule back to 3 times per 24 hrs , I haven’t seen any negative reactions to the adjusted feeding and it’s been a week since I made the changes ,

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. My homework. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration.Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. woot woot we got flowers starting!! Been such a horrible week for weather again but we got some steady growth! shes starting to get a little stank on her as well, yum yum!!! with 5-6 weeks unitl harvest i'm optimistic that I will get enough herbs to watch pineapple express lol i wish our weather would be a little better but oh well lol

I'm expecting one more week to chop. Most of the trichomes are cloudy. Fan leaves are yellowing already and I'm gonna be using Flawless Finish for this final week. It will be a clean smoke for sure. My feeding schedule was all over the place on this grow, lesson learned for the Royal Creamatic that I'm growing.

The best plant I have ever grown. Very resistant, and great flowering, fat buds, large flowers and beautiful colors on top of a whitish resin. This week there is no fertilizer, so as not to have problems with the harvest regarding taste. The leaves turn yellow quickly.

Day 22. Last 3 girls got final house. 20 liters pots for those late runners. They look sad, but maybe big house and other girls will encourage them to kick in. I took last NL away and now humidity and lightning are a lot better. Will drop lights down in few days, but not a lot ... 16 girls again in one room ;)))) I changed names of diaries, because I will try to finish them indoors ... Happy Growing !!!

Great climate, ideal. No problems to report, for the moment the critters are focused on something else. If it doesn't get too hot, I'll start reducing irrigation and defoliate more. The smell is very strong. Today 13.27 of light. Flowers are forming well, branches are finally swelling, bud structure is strong. Still stretching but less than previous days.
