Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. The Bruce banner was probably hit the most with over watering but is bouncing back. She is the ugly duckling of the grow. She's bouncing back slowly. Hope she recovers by the end of this week. But the good thing is that she's still alive. Gave her a real feeding at day 10. We'll see how she reacts to this feeding. Last day of week 2. She's doing well. She bounced back from week one. Hopefully week 3 will be better 😊

Starting her flush this week, seeing those trichomes maturing, and pistils now forming 50-60% red. Flush for 10-14 days depending on trichomes. Day 100 Day 50 Flower 10/08/24 Saturday (Evening) FLUSH- de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with flawless finish. Another 5L and seeing about 10-15% run off. Not quite the 1L. Day 101 Day 51 11/08/24 Sunday (morning) FLUSH- de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with flawless finish. 5L run off 10% Majority of pistils now maturing, trichomes flooded with cloudy , barely seen clear anymore, spotting a few amber's. Day 102 Day 52 Flower 12/08/24 Monday (Morning) FLUSH- de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with flawless finish. 5L again with run off 10% Day 103 Day 53 Flower 13/08/24 Tuesday (Evening) FLUSH- de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today again with flawless finish. Full 5L again with 10% run off. All fans starting to fade now, tops all bending under the weight 🤩 Euphoric sweet lemon zest smell with a gassy slap. Roots look very healthy I tried different method for starting the seedling that seem to work. Plant seems very healthy at 10 days of growth. Will try to do the shortest veg time possible. Having issue with water temp. I added some H2O2 and will make new solution tomorrow, will try to change it twice per week

WEEK 13 - FLOWERING: The Final Ripening Phase Begins ​🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS Entering Week 9 of flower, the Papayton has reached its peak development. As of Sunday evening, the trichome coverage is astounding, layering the buds in a frosted coat that hints at the genetic's potency. We are observing the full spectrum of colors, with the early light purple shades deepening into rich, dark hues. Most of the pistils have now darkened and withdrawn, signaling that the swelling phase is nearly complete. We have officially shifted focus to the ripening stage. ​🌡️ ENVIRONMENT & VPD Environmental conditions are being monitored closely with a digital hygrometer. Average temperatures are around 24.6°C with humidity dropping to 41%, resulting in a high VPD of 1.8 kPa. This dry climate in the final stage is perfect for maximizing resin production and ensuring rock-hard, mold-free buds. ​👃 TERPENES & AROMA The scent is incredible this week. It is characterized by a super sweet and fruity core, clearly carrying that signature creamy Gelato touch. The profile is rounded off by a subtle, sour undertone in the finish that balances the heavy sweetness perfectly. It’s a very complex and pungent aroma that has intensified significantly as the plant ripens. ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING We have reached a turning point in the feeding schedule. The very last nutrient application was administered on March 30th, where Bio-Grow was already completely excluded from the mix to begin the nitrogen reduction. Since April 2nd, I have officially started the flushing process with pH-regulated water. The transition to pure ripening has begun. Environmental parameters remain dialed in. The strong, stable terpene profile and the stunning purples we are seeing confirm that this Papayton is living up to its high-potency reputation. The plant looks phenomenal and the flushing phase is now in full swing.

This run was definitely a rollercoaster. Unfortunately, one phenotype turned hermaphrodite during flower and had to be removed. Luckily, the second plant completely made up for it and exceeded all my expectations. During the final week, she received only reverse osmosis water with CalMag. Before harvest, she spent 48 hours in complete darkness. After that, I chopped the whole plant and hung it to dry at 20°C and 55% RH. I left all the fan leaves on because I expected the humidity to drop over the following days, helping to slow the drying process. The plant developed an incredible purple fade and became absolutely covered in trichomes. ❄️ The main cola stretched more than expected instead of bulking up, but the buds still finished dense, sticky and beautiful. The terpene profile is one of the most unique I've experienced. The aroma is sweet, sugary and slightly gassy. On the inhale it's sweet and almost jam-like, while the exhale turns spicy. 🍓🌶️ Definitely not a flavor profile for everyone, but I really enjoy it. Effects are strong, relaxing and long-lasting. Because I enjoyed this phenotype so much, I already kept a clone as a backup 🌱 and will definitely run this strain again. Despite losing one plant to hermaphroditism, the keeper proved that Chicken N' Wafflez has a lot of potential. Overall, I'm very happy with the final quality. Beautiful colors, heavy frost and a truly unique terpene profile. 💜

Die Woche war sehr gut 👍 Sie fängt jetzt an richtig stabil & schön zu wachsen :) ich habe heute am 01.10 wieder enhancer benutzt 0,5 Gramm auf einen Liter zum giesen… ich habe wieder eine kleine Menge von den 0,5 auf die Oberfläche aufgetragen & nach gegossen. Sie ist 5 cm gewachsen.

Great gains this week. Blue dream is coming on strong. A couple of these ladies will be eary finishers. Id guess around 77 days. I never expect any auto to finish before 90 days. Although it does happen. The smell is undeniable. Blue dream is a very distinct terpene profile that cannot be missed! Used recharge on them this week and they early seamed to react well! I'm glad I made that purchase! Looking forward to finishing out this grow! Lollipopped them this week as well.
