4 weeks flower and half way done now! i took off some leafs that where touching buds to prevent mold, beside that pretty much straight up watering and waiting she looks a little diffrent on some of the pics because of the light i used, hope you dont mind the better lighting and some other perspectives to look at her 😏 day 3 - yesterday i chopped up a banana and put it into boiling water and let it sit for about 8 hours. now i use the extract as fertilizer just because i want to try it out for my next grow, the amnesia haze wich will be outdoors on the balcony. I use 400ml tab water for 100ml of the banana extract to feed her just for once now. maybe if she likes it i give her a little more. i think it might be a great natural addition to the organic fertilizer i am useing

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. Good weather is Back. Gave them some epson salt to bring black cream colours out. Black Cream is now turning red and fatning buds. Shes yellowing dont now if its light stress(her lst is 27/28 and ppfd about 600 and i event gave her so much CO2 now) colors changing or senescense. Bomberry think shes reduce grow rate abd dont know why. Wedding cake Jumped and its taking over the scrog net Couskush growing good some wilting caused by fan. Shes the smallest and at her hight her LST its on the lower edge. Chears BrotherHood

Esta semana ya realice la poda. Se encuentra en estos momentos en etapa de secado dentro de una caja especial para secados de flores que uso siempre y nunca me falla. En humedo hay 195g y utilice una lampara led de 150w en todas sus etapas. Próximamente estaré publicando cuando este en curado.

Adding Mephisto Sour Hound to my tent of autos. Really excited about growing some Mephisto Genetics, been hearing amazing things about Mehphisto (I also have a Alien vs Triangle going in a separate diary). This is a free seed I received with my order from Seedsman last fall (BTW Seedsman ROCKS!). This first seed failed to pop so I planted a second and that one popped in 4 days!. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de floración de estas Gelato 44 de RoyalQueenSeeds. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta cubre todas las necesidades de cada ejemplar, empecé añadir el mega pk y el Thor. Las flores empezaron a engordar, por el momento todo correcto, os dejé también alguna novedad y un cambio en la sala, agradecer al equipo de Mars hydro por el nuevo TSW2000. Week 15 / 6th week in bloom :) One more week done, and even closer to harvest! Both my girls are looking great and starting to smell quite strong, I just love it!

Day 1 drying

What's good growmies! This plant REEKS Even with the air being vented outside trough a carbon filter, the room still has a weak "eau de Stracciatella" I don't have the vocabulary or nose to place the scents like some growers can, all I know is, its f-ing loud and she's only mid flower, I *cannot* wait to smell this baby when she is cured. I'm following Plagron's Feeding Shedule, I posted it a few weeks back, I dropped all organic additives, however, so no Sugar royal, no Pure Zym and sure as f no Power Roots, even though I contacted Plagron and have been told these additives work wonders in Hydro, I just can't, it makes the water black, gunk collects around my roots and pumps, if anyone has any advice or insight as to what I'm doing wrong, please let me know, But my gut is telling me I do not have the money or equipment for Organics, the fact that I'm expected to replace 50 liters of reservoir every 48 hours in and of itself is a massive deterrent. that rant aside, Green Sensation is obviously doing work, however, I noticed my EC rising all the way up to *2.4* this week! which is absolutely no bueno, a couple of fan leaves started showing some burnt tips, Luckily its DWC and a quick adjustment with a few liters of plain Ph'd water immediately stopped that. Why was my EC rising? well the logical answer is Overfeeding! plant is not taking all the food I'm giving her so as the water gets taken up, the nutrients become more concentrated, so to fix that I'm halving my Green sensation dose, DWC kicks ass when it comes to this, there is little guessing, and a lot is measured. and as we all know, what gets measured gets managed. This Diary is on cruise control, I don't think aside from watching those nuggies fatten up, there will be much change in this garden from here on out. I'm starting another Diary soon, Zamnesia send me some Runtz to grow and show the world, which is great because I was planning to grow some legendary Runtz anyway! 😉 got a closet I'll be turning into a Autoflower/Veg tent, get some babies started in there using kratky, then once the time for flower comes, drop em into RDWC Thanks for stopping by this week and observing my baby's development, she's quite a slow finisher, but I'm growing fond of her.
