She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

The hairs are really showing right now and a slight fruity perfume is filling the grow closet. The bright colors glisten and captivate and I just stare and stare. In between dunk feeds I do regularly top pours. The plants are still short. Not much of an early flower growth spurt. But the bud sites are looking healthy and sticky already so I expecting some top shelf, even if it’s not much of it 🤣

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. This lady got cut on day 63, I am extremely impressed with how she turned out considering she got nothing but PHed water the entire grow! She is extremely sticky & frosty and has a unbelievable smell everytime you open the jar! Definitely one of my favorite strains I have grown so far can’t wait to see how she does using nutrients next grow! Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

Week 6, 2 weeks outside, first week was a blast, fantastic wheater good night temps. Second week was much colder. Daytime temps just tipping 20 degrees celcius in the sun. Nighttime was between 6 and 7 degrees. Pictures are plant 1 in the shed with transparent roof. Not a real serre, its more just a roof and some protection against most of the elements of nature. She seems to be overfed, showing yellowing here and there. Also other has some leaves have brown spots. I might have messed up the Ph because I did not adjust the Ph of nutrients mix. I assumed it was ph corrected. Now, I am adjusting the Ph and reducing feeding. Let’s hope that she recovers next week.

So far so good. This is week 2 or 3of flowering and no issues so far. The fan leave are starting to thin out but I guess that Normal in the flowering stage. The only question I have in this stage is what should my humidity but for the flower stage ? I heard any where from 60-40?

The budding has begun👀. Flowers are starting to mature pistols are turning to buds. Everything’s looking great! Looking forward to the buds putting on weight. Just continuing to water and added some bud candy for trichome production. The tropical cooler is super fruity dank smell if that is what you are looking for I highly recommend. The next best sent is the Super Lemon Haze x Gary Payton lemon tropical punch smell. The Blueberry Swirl has a zesty lemon smell. Fat Banana has a buttery lemon smell. Probably gonna pheno hunt Tropical Cooler later.

Day 31: boosted with some more nutes 2,3ml per liter canna coco a&b Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness. Esta ha sido una semana de intenso trabajo para las plantas a las que realicé poda apical y lst con un espacio de tiempo corto para la recuperación, pero respondieron genial. Parece que a esta variedad le puedes hacer cualquier cosa. Ni excesos ni carencias de nutrientes

These ladies were heavy yielding - just wish the PK booster did not stunt them, I feel they could have even been larger, the buds are sweet and sticky, they smell amazing, they are hard and resinous - they have a beautiful mix of dark and light shades of green with bright orange hairs, very pretty, my friends are already in love with this weed, hits you like a Sativa and as the high lingers mellows like an Indica, I can't, wait to grow this again! The is an urban legend that occasionally a purple strain emerges, and when it does the outcome is legendary, just another reason to try this strain!

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. 6/20/21 - They look great! On track and the stretch has stopped completely. See pics and video from today… 6/21/21 - Day 30 of flower! Half way there :) They’ve been drinking water without any runoff coming out of the pots. Also the stretch has stopped and they look good. 6/22/21 - On track. Good size buds and a good smell. Excited for harvest! The room is filling up with flowers. 6/23/21 - I am still feeding with the nutrients listed above which is Week 9 on the schedule. 6/24/21 - We are very happy with the growth and bud size. They look and smell great! 6/25/21 - They are doing well. Just flowering away. I’ll post pics soon. Other than feeding them I am just letting the plants flower. No techniques being used. 6/26/21 - I missed a week on the feeding schedule and gave it straight water. I’m going to run Week 9 again and go from there.
