🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. NL stopped also vertical growth, started to fatten her buts. :D Her main cola will be huge.

So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare. —GERMINATION— My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max. From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. If you are a bit on the impatient side seen the tap root is advisable so you see some movement before planting. Lol! —ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS . QUICK ONE . INFO — Chose this strain because is basic and I have to travel for a month soon, and someone else is going to take care for this time. :) Quick One is a fast-growing autoflowering strain. This was one of the first autoflowering strains developed. When it was first released, it was one of the quickest growing strains on the planet. Finished trimming the GSC tonight after a 6 day dry. Buds are very sticky and the jars smell like chocolate chip cookies. Lots of 3.5G+ buds (dry). Dry weight is about 88g of buds and 17g of shake/popcorn. Granddaddy Purple #1 is still drying, GDP #2 came out to about 70 of buds and 20g of popcorn/shake. Planning to make concentrates with the shake and popcorn. Even after no cure, I have sampled both GDP and GSC. GDP is my favorite (but GDP has always been my all time favorite) but GSC smells, looks, and tastes better. Planning to let them cure 8 weeks in Amber Ball 32oz Mason Jars, hoping for good final product. Feel like I didn’t do too bad for a first grow! Learned a lot! Cherry Pie & Wedding Cake next!

Just chuggin along this week, didn't do much... struggled to keep temperature at stable 68°

12/11 At the start of Week 4 I must say everything is going good. Just got rid of an infestation of gnats and what a battle it was but between the neem oil and Foxfarm insect spray and diatomaceous earth I think I got em. Started to mainline but after talking with ppl stopped with that and just gonna go with the topping and some lst Day 31 update: had a little problem with some mite looking tanish white microscopic bugs but neem oil did the trick no site of them so far gonna keep a close eye though. As far as growth this lady has went into overdrive just growing noticeably daily I love it

It is on a heavy heart i bring this news. I don't know where to start..... I've had problems with almost every bug known to man..Nothing new.. I can usually control it... it's sad news I have to post ... My baby is probably not going to go as long as I want. I checked her Sunday 10/1/17 ( due to caterpillar damage ) ( moths are really bad this year in So. Cal ) She has suffered .. I found a small piece mold..buried in a cola. I cut the cola. You can see it in the pics. My worry is I have more. Every grower will tell you spider mites are the worst aka the Borg. But there not thinking of mold or bud rot. Which is got to be way worse . The mold comes from catapillar feces.. yah I know.. I'm just telling you the facts.. Now you know my worries. And they are big.. I will address this issue. It can only get worse... I am so depressed thinking about it. It is very upsetting. It is hard to tell you this. I almost feel like I failed. But I know I didn't. I'm sure not looking for any sympathy. Please .. It won't help. I will make the decision on what to do when i have more information which will be Friday night for me. I will then decide my action. To harvest all , part, or clean out colas by opening them up. Every grow has it's problems.. Outdoor problems are so much different. This has to be one of the most beautiful trees I have ever grown. Just good genitcs. The pics do not do her justice. Trust me on this one.. Thanks for listening. 😔
