12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Day 22 - Covered a lot of stuff of last night on my last comment for week 3. Added a few time lapses of the last week of grow. Took a few top leaves of the girls (4 each) to allow more light to potential bud sites; Basically where 1 fan leaf was covering 2 or more potential flower sites. Don't think I will top any more as getting a nice even canopy as it is, plenty of nodes showing Now have a humidifier in there and strengthening the feeding regimen & adding Sensizym and Fulvic Acid to the mix. Removed the flood stakes too as they were inconsistent...now just have the feed pipes going straight over the roots EC now @ 1.3 (CF13, TDS 650/500ppm, 910/700ppm scale). Will keep an eye on them as not too sure if they're sensitive to feed or the Temp/Humidity issues I was having allowed them to nute burn by closing down stomata. Also gave them a dusting with Neem oil as I cant open the tent for Daddy Long Legs (Crane Flies) or Midges flying in!!!

Its day 61 currently, i’ve given her the last feed and will start the flush now, even though she’s discarded most of her leaves already and is using up the remaining nutrients in the remaining leaves on her own. Most of the pisitls have started turning orangey-brown so harvest is right around the corner, and i dont have a loupe for looking at trichomes but i’ll be taking macro pictures using my phone’s camera and will harvest as soon as i start seeing a few turning amber. There isn’t enough detail in the pics to know if the trichomes are transparent or milky, but its easier to see the amber ones, so thats how i’ll proceed. On day 1 the rez is at 6.2. The highest cola is 8.5" from the light. On day 2 the rez is at 6.2. The highest cola is 7.75" from the light. On day 3 the rez is at 6.1. The highest cola is 7.5" from the light. On day 4 the rez is at 6.3. The highest cola is 7.125" from the light. On day 5 the plants are smelling and doing well. On day 6 I changed out the rez and PH to 6.1. The highest cola is 7" from grow light stretch is deff slowing down and should be over shortly. My avg PPFD at canopy is around 800. On day 7 the rez ph is 6.0. The highest cola is still 7" away from light 😅 close but not too close in my small space.

Did some heavy feeding the past few days now getting reading to flush soon, end of week 6 last feeding now flushing for the final weeks.

Day one of flower for the London Pound Cake and Purple Shah. I moved the Blueberry Muffin into another veg tent for a week or two. They’re early finishers so when I move them back everything should harvest around a similar timeline. Fed them all with an Organic Alf Alfa seed sprout fermentation. The triacantanol in the Alf Alfa makes these things go crazy if you don’t overdo it. Add some coconut water and aloe and youve got yourself organic plant steroids. The growth rate will cause you to have an increased need for ca mg and nutrients which in organics may not be readily available. Top dress or feed ahead of the curve.

Hello & big Welcome.... To my Greenfingeress diary "Weed Seeds Express" strain "Ak-48" auto 🌿 donated by the generous guys from Weed Seeds Express who I'd like to say a big thumbs up 👍 for all their support and Excellent strain choice😁 Germination was successful within 24hours... In moist tissue paper with just plain ph5.6 water, in my usual ice-cream tub with holes in the lid to keep the moisture then placed into mother room to keep warm.. 😁 Can't wait to get these girls going🌿 14 Hour's later all my girl's have popped as you can see 😁 weed Seeds Express always have strong good seeds 100% success rate👍 Day 2.... Carefully planted into some plain soil then into propagation, I have heat mat inside giving me high humidity (although I wish I had a better light😤) just waiting for a head's up now 😂 Well will you look at them go... Using smaller domes now tightly on (no gaps) Day 3.... After 24hour's in propagation unit with heat mat and smaller domes they have all come through.... I'm quite chuffed as they don't look to thin and long at the moment fingers crossed😬🍀 Day 4.... Now into my veg tent with bigger domes on, as you can see I am growing 4 girls, three of them are in the same pot going to Greenfingers666 one of them I am growing all the way through to harvest😬 As you can see I've added some pictures of my veg tent of all the different strains I'm growing and all the different ages they are...
