Hey yall, It's been a minute, I have been super busy out of town again. All is good though, the flowers are fattening up. Still not a fan of Beaver Seeds. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BEAVER SEEDS, just to be clear. They don't respond, like super sativa club, lol. I email and contact their website, zero response. So pick a breeder you can trust and has open communication. Otherwise they are greedy and most likely have shitty genetics. I popped two feminized seeds, one was a runt from the start, she died when my Temps hit 90 Fahrenheit, which is absolutely 💯 bullshit. I use potassium silicate, frass, aloe and everything that should help with heat stress, so this one is on the breeder. Anyways, they hardly have many trichomes, despite my shit being dialed to the max, PPFD. VPD, water only soil with dry amendments and weekly compost tea applications. That always dumps trichomes for me. Genetics are 90 percent of the game, we can control up to 10 percent as the growers. Well you can see what I mean. Week 6 of flowering now, so yeah I missed a couple weeks, but you know how it is. Life is nuts and you have to work to pay those electric bills. I already popped new seeds from a much better breeder, I literally cannot wait to chop these girls to pieces, and making RSO out of the entire run, I ain't even smoking this shit. Lol. Sorry I didn't throw up any tutorials this week, but check previous weeks for detailed recipes. I did add fermented Banana peels, overly ripe ones to help push flowering maturity. Also added fermented kiwi, overly ripe again to push end of flowering. Also added Willow water, and a ton of fermented aloe and some frass I got from a buddy. Oh and yes, if you get a chance, tell Beaver Seeds to F*** themselves lol, 😆 🤣 😂 😹 Peace out girl scouts, oh and yes, Berner did not make GSC, he stole the name and the first OG cut of Girl Scout Cookies was from San Francisco. So the real breeders don't make shit up, they work their strains and stress test their genes to ensure there is no bullshit, get in touch with your breeder. Made the flip to flower to start this week. Did a bunch of lst to get the side branches booming for the Scrog. Put a second net right above her to start things off spacing and structre wise. Second she starts to stretch its scrog game on! Got her on a well balanced diet to support her transition period. Can't wait to see her explode and take off! Start rowing me out some colas! 14. Woche, P1 fällt morgen, die ist soweit gut denke ich (ca. 20% aufwärts Bernstein Trichome). P2 braucht leider noch ca. 1 woche länger. 93. Tag ist für P1 das Ende, sie wurde heute vorgetrimmt und zum trocknen aufgehängt. Ergebnisse gibt es wenn die P2 auch geerntet wird, denke nächste Woche um die Zeit. Aber eins kann ich euch versichern, is mit Abstand die schwerste die ich ist jetzt hatte😊🍀🍀. Gebt euch auch mal wie viele Trichome die gute produziert hat, Duft is noch sehr pflanzlich, Blüten sind ziemlich fest gewesen hoffe das es nach dem trocknen noch so ist. Alles in allem super Run. Hoffentlich is die gute bei den Top 10 das wäre ein träumchen, wobei ich es wirklich jedem gönne zu gewinnen und bei soviel starker Konkurrenz geht ich wahrscheinlich unter. ABER was ein geiler Contest trotzdem, hier ein dickes fettes Dankeschön an Zamnesia und Plagron für die Möglichkeit hier überhaupt mitmachen zu dürfen 🙏💙💜 98. Well, it's finally time for an update, right? And for a newbie like me this week has been quite eventful! 😲 After last week's "Helmet Head" (which I suppose was my fault for not burying the seed deep enough 😱) her leaves started to look twisty, Honestly don't know why that happened but my three hypothesis are: because that's just the way she is, because I didn't properly bury the seed or I made a mistake somewhere else. However I also think she looks pretty and this makes her look quite "special" 👍. In her 6-7th day after sprouting I noticed her leaves started to look even more twisty and she was about to outgrow her cup. I worried and decided that it was the right moment to transplant her. At first I didn't know "how" to do it and all I knew is that I could shock her if I did it wrong (which worried me haha 😨). None of the sites I checked really specified any kind of information regarding how I should prepare the medium for the new plant (just some vague information here and there) so I came with the idea to just water it bit and then "massage" the soil to avoid making it "lumpy" and I feel it did work out well in the end! I feel I didn't shock her much and in her second day she was growing even more as well! Nice! 😍 Next week I'll start feeding Puff with some nutrients but the PPM of the tap water where I live is somewhat high (around 600) and it's electroconductivity is around 1200 us/cm but a lot of growers in here still use it (they just wait for chlorine to evaporate) so I'll try doing the same. I'll use half dose of Biobizz Bio Grow and half dose of another product called Gold Sunshine from Quemanta (which is Cal-Mag with some amino acids) and see how things develop! 😃 I'll try to see if I can make my DSLR take the photos for future timelapses, because my webcam sucks for that job! Die Ladys beenden morgen Ihre 4. Woche und haben mal wieder extrem an Masse und Wachstum zugelegt. Der Start in die 5. Woche mit Vorblüte und bereits die ersten Streches. Verwunderlich finde ich, dass die kleinste mit dem kleinsten Top am längsten braucht um in die Blüte zu gehen 😄 aber das wird auch noch 😎 Ab morgen bin ich für zwei Wochen im Urlaub und ein Freund wird sich um das Gießen kümmern. Ich gehe davon aus das alles gut wird. Sie wurden nun zum zweiten mal entlaubt, die unteren Blätter wurden entfernt als auch Triebe die sich nicht optimal entwickelt haben. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Week 6 flowering

First the trichomes then the plumping. Still at trichome production they all smell great. Gorilla Zkittles, Gelat.og, and elderberry smell soooo damn sweet and dank. GZ has this orange spice smell. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Removed the dead branch and topped the branches from second node to form 2x2 colas. Later on in the week I tied down the left main branch when it reached the proper length.

This lady hasn't stretched up so much during pre flower, she has a nice size anyways and I cannot smell any terpenes yet on day 23 of flower, I cannot wait to see how this lady develops some big and sticky flowers! Stay with me on this journey guys! Let's keep on growing!, 💛💚❤️👨‍🌾🔝

10/01: They are growing fine and seem happy. I plan to swap out the water, defoliate and switch the lights to 12/12 this weekend. I will be removing an hour of light each day leading up until the weekend.
