Switched from 24/0 to 12/12 at the end of day 14, also switched the 730nm Led's on. Its been 7 days the plants have started growing a lot faster but there's still no pistils showing. I started feeding biobizz grow @ 2ml/l At the moment there getting watered every 3-4 days. The light is showing 25000lux on a lux meter app.

it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine 😉

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of my Sundae Driver which I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didnt do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I wont make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why I cant select them on this site anymore, I know they got sold but they don't list them under either name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. I dont really do any LST until I get get the first toppings done, because my primary goal at this stage is to ensure she grows a strong set of roots before I start manipulating her. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for this Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I dont need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep this ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. I love the sativa shaped nug-towers! When my plants grow big, I like to grow them until the very end of their cycle! That's why the extended flower period. This lady has ended up with a very big size, she's such a nice bush full of sweet stinky colas, tje nuggets are very hard and the resin production is top, very terpy, the aroma is starting to become more and more like cherry 🍒 but with some floral notes. Definitely would love to run her again for sure! 🔝 Very stable strain. All of my 5 black cherry punch have the exact same aroma. 💎💯 She's in a super living soil full of beneficial bacteria and 100% organic nutrients. I'm using Silicium flash by biotabs which contains a lot of beneficial fungus and bug shit. And FLO which is the super food full of aminoacids, a lot of diferent strains of endomycorryzhae and mycorrizae. It's like 100% natural steroids for organic plants, the aroma are so pure and clean. 2/13 - a little bit of LST to bring the branches to the edges of the pot and down a bit, then letting the 8 shoots grow long enough to spread out evenly along the edge of the pot. Also got a plain watering. 2/18 - she got her feeding and almost ready for the final training before letting her grow height

10/18, day 74 While only getting a tiny bit taller, the colas are bulking up, trichomes are developing, and the colors are amazing. She's so pretty! We're starting to take more stemmed leaves off in preparation for harvest, and they are ready to come off, with beautiful yellow fading. There are sooooo many reddish-orange hairs, and it seems most of the tops are being taken over by purples now. 10/21, day 77 Violet's leaves are turning brown and beginning to curl now. When looking at her trichomes, it seems there is not as much amber today as there was yesterday somehow. Every time we open the cabinet, it seems she has changed. 10/23 day 79 Violet has been exploding with trichomes the last couple of days, and I'm just like WOW!! Upon doing more research on trichomes and their development, I found an article that explains things so nicely (Link: https://www.greencultured.co/cannabis-trichomes-overview/ ) In this article, I learned about the three different types of trichomes: bulbous, capitate sessile, and capitate stalked. The stalked being the tall pretty ones we like to see, which also contain the most resin. At a certain point, the short sessiles develop into the stalked, increasing from 30% to 80-90%. This is kind of far down the article in the section titled "Latest Cannabis Trichome Research." It also explains that the stalked trichomes contain 16 cells while sessile trichomes only contain 8, so the stalked trichome explosion Violet has been having is doubling her medicinal value. I believe that her increasingly strong smell is a sign that this is good information, so I encourage you to check it out. I do not know them, nor have any arrangements with them, I really did just find the article that helpful. Oh, Violet, our time together is going to be over soon!!

I'm so looking forward to a taste off these plants when they are ready. I'm feeding them lots of water and supplemental teas as they have been quite thirsty doing all that growing would do that I guess. Im still not using the PH meter, but i will use a Canna Aqua nutrients from now they ended 2019, but 5 years later i still have it, so ill use it
