Week two of flower is done and these girls are rocking hard .they have not slowed down stretching every day .feeding every 3 days 3 liters and they are loving it

Day 64: when pictures was taken, all the girls was doing some excellent night-stretching! I just love watching them grow bigger and bigger❤️Day 65: did a little bit of defoliation on the ones with the scrog net. Also widened the outer fence around them. I think i will do some branch for branch, thorough pruning, on all the plants later in the process. DAY 66: pruning done. That wasn’t a lot longer into the process but now its done. Took some time!

02.06. the previous week I took to cutting back everything except 8-10 branches per plant. Each arm remains with sprouts at the top only (like lollipoping but with the leaves still on). I contemplated for a while before doing this an compared with last year's growth. Definitely want less little stuff in the lower region and a cleaner structure overall. TMV on the Quick Sherbet leaves looks contained. White clover growing along well, gave 1g / L of greenhouse feeding bio enhancer. This week is mostly cloudy and rainy so expect slower growth but good progress.

Things are going great. These girls are getting nice and frosty. They are so easy. And the smell! Oh she's heavenly! She's almost sickeningly sweet. I'm very excited to try this strain. Last year I was more on the Indica dominant bandwagon, since I use Kratom during the day for pain management. But my obsession with CBD Blue Shark has me excited for more balanced hybrids. I've been having an issue with the quality of Kratom I've been getting from vendors so I may have to start in on wake&bakes, which FastBuds says this strain is perfect for!

Week 5 , flower sites forming well, smell increase . Drop humidity to 45%

Things are still picking up. I've almost got my light at it's maximum height and she keeps pushing taller. Two different phenos from what I popped. One is shorter and is really stacking on bud sights and starting to frost up. The other is trying to push almost a foot taller and seems to be about a week behind the other plant in terms of bud development. Did some defoliation a few days ago and cleaned up lower bud sites that were not going to reach the canopy.

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Jan 13th ordered a Dehumidifier today should be here Monday need to get the humidity down for flower I can only get it down to 57% so Hopefully it will work One of the amnesia haze plants have some type of deficiency not sure have brown spots on leaves Got humidity some decent control but I’m sure amnesia haze 1 is dealing with PH issues the PH meter is cheap and I’m sure it’s been off a bit so I’m going to look for new one this week

Plants keep growing very well, stopped to stretch and already start showing pistils. This in only 14 days of flowering. That shows how fast you can grow using clones instead of starting from seeds, infact clones have same age of mother plants from wich are taken, that have already reached sexual maturity by far and so they are much more ready to flower unlike plants bornt from seed.

Day 21: the next watering will be with the full fert cycle starting week 4. Plants are bouncing back from lst. Day 23: leaf tucking, defoliation and more lst. Day 25: Very hot week, hitting 29°C but the plants are still growing fine

I also gave her pot a 1/4 turn. 9/29- Yesterday I didn't water her, only turned her pot and checked her over... Wow! She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 The end of next week we'll be getting close to her wrapping up with the 'Finish Line' approaching by Week 10, but it will all depend on when she tells me that she's ready to go! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we're going into that last 3 +/- weeks for this 'Frost Queen' and she's looking like a Rock Star covered in bling! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. This C4 auto was very fast to flower, and stretched up to produce some very pretty, berry smelling/tasting nugs! The buds didn't flower very dense, they formed as fox-tail shapes. Yield is on the low-end of acceptable, but good considering the bud structure! I'm growing another next run, to compare phenotypes!
