I originally had applied to Green House Seed Co.'s Taste of the USA Contest here on Grow Diaries. Turns out I was ineligible but the good folks at GHS still had the big hearts to send me seeds anyway. So big ups to them for hooking this grower up. Welcome to the Sea of Fire 🔥 For this grow were using the Dark Phoenix seeds that GHS sent to me to create a Sea of Green. I've got 8 plants in 8 1L pots. I've decided to use Black Swallow's living soil for this grow so we won't need to add anything but water for the first 3 weeks or so. Our goal for this grow is to have these girls ready for harvest in about 20 weeks which will bring us to the beginning of November 2021. If all goes according to plan these firey buds should be filling my friends stockings this Christmas.

Here we are starting week 5 with this beautiful plant (the big one, I should give her a name...) who went through all her vegetation weeks showing great strength, thriving like a boss and making me so very happy! What a therapeutic experience 😎 On day 32 I decided to introduced a 1000W LED monstrosity light to the grow environment, hoping to give a nice boost on her first week of flower, than a rookie mistake happened...of course. I forgot to raise the lamp further up, that caused a slight burn on the tip of a hand-full of leaves. The good news is: she is doing just fine as beautiful as ever. :)) The little girl got another defoliation session and she is recovering well after mainlining last week, but man.... she slow...she very slow. There Is strength on her, I noticed her little branches curving against the mainline ties, she is sassy Im telling you. I am going to insist to see what happens. Overall the girls are doing just fine, my two other seedlings are coming up sweet'n fast, I should've have planted all 4 at the same time! *FutureNote* Now a quick question, what is the lifespan of a Chinese 4'' carbon filter from Amazon? Apparently 5 weeks LOL. The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Still week 12 changed to 12/12 on day 90, thought my system is working properly now and nutrient solution seems to be alright now.. maybe it can improve but its fine for now. They are growing ridiculous fast even when its not in perfect conditions, im definitely staying with rdwc the stem of this plant is about 3-4 cm big wich is insane before flower

Motherplant of this clone didn't give same buds as a clone. Shame I don't have mother plants anymore. I would recommend Durban Poison for everyone, I guess more people should feel this strain. This is my favourite sativa from 2019!

She is getting big and so far non-issue with the ladie. Looking forward to next week's

Se le ha aplicado un tratamiento insecticida con agua + tierra de diatomeas ( 1 cucharadita por litro de agua), también se le aplica un tratamiento fungicida con una infusión de cola de caballo para evitar futuro moho. A partir de ahora se riega manualmente con las dosis recomendadas por el fabricante.

The pictures and video are from day 15 since the flip. however i think the plant is now really in day 7 flower as i flipped early to keep the flower space under one square meter. so the plants vegged another week after the 12/12 anyway as you can see they have 0 defincies and a very nice even cannopy, not much space between the nodes is what i like a lot.

la seconda pianta ossia quella che non era ermafrodita è stata impollinata solo nel ramo in diretto raggio del ventilatore, forse avrei potuto pensarci, comunque ho 12 semi, per il resto non ho trovato molti semi e sono soddisfatto nel complesso, la pianta non ermafrodita ha avuto un esplosione di tricomi, veramente piena, per altro le cime sembravano pesare molto, per adesso stanno seccando, di muffa ne ho trtovata poc e niente

Night 87 since seed touched soil. In total darkness, after work i came to check huge rain damage - found bud rot. #1 goes down. Day 94. Last two girls are down, this summer adventure is over ! If early spring, in theory you can have two auto harvests easy, even in UK ... Happy Growing !!!

12/18 4am CANNAKAN!!!! Giving my FAST Flowers a try. A late spring early summer grow. CannaKan is my new best friend, I had a 100 per cent success rate last time!!! Ok I got it all done at 5:30 am, I set the Temp to 88 MPH or the Time Machine wont work, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT! Marty will meet me in the parking lot at the mall, I have a great feeling about this. 11am Room temperature is 73. Heating Pad set to 88. Water temp 77.7 PERFECT!! 2:30pm blue dream is already starting to open. I think Tropicana cookies looks like she’s opening a little bit. They should all be open by tomorrow. It’s only been about nine hours.👍👍. 11:30pm They all opened. I drained the water put in new distilled water, made sure water level was right. Looks great!!!! 12/19 4am The temp looks good, all are opening nicely. I have to get the pots ready now, put on new stickers, they help identify the plants from different angles, especially in photos. Im doing a low power fast turn around grow in easy to move 1 gallon pots. They will all be topped above the 3rd node, then the bottom or 2nd to the bottom branches will be cut off to achieve a 4 cola grow. Very simple, easy to manage. 11am. 2:30pm, 5:30pm..so tired, finish in the morning. 12/20 12 am 1:30am Just finished TC & GS I had a little trouble seating GS, TC no problems, takes a while to learn. BD is still sprouting, not a long enough tail to bury yet. 9am I think im getting another CannaKan. 10am 👍👍👍 12/21 Put BD in the pot, not sure if she will go or not, I'm firing up the CannaKan and doing another, since its a photo I will keep it in Veg until my next grow cycle. I may do a full 3 gallon grow with this one and take clones, this is fun!!!! gardening, who knew? The new filter paper I got is a little thicker than what came with it takes longer to sink, more dramatic, I got medium in that blue box from amazon. 7am Tropicana Cookies is the Winner of fastest to sprout, she looks great! GS has the shell and skin, it could still fall naturally so I'll wait. BD is unchanged. Micro-surgery on TC got the skin off and she popped right open!! 12:30pm SUCCESS!!! 4 hours later, she's PERFECT, worked GREAT!!! I NEVER thought I would be able to do seed surgery. That was my 3rd time doing that, success every single time! 4pm looks good. 12/22 9am. all look great, GS is taking off VERY strong overnight, TC has taken root her main stalk is already thick!! BD #2 is almost ready. I kept BD#1 underwater too long...then I accidentally ripped her head off this morning......so really not my fault......shhhhh..... 1 pm BD looks perfect 🤩 almost ready. 330pm Did the transplant...I really need to work on that....so nervous when I do it. Im not paid for this but CannaKan is one of the best products Ive ever used. I need lots of practice planting the radicles ...""In botany, the radicle is the first part of a seedling (a growing plant embryo) to emerge from the seed during the process of germination. The radicle is the embryonic root of the plant, and grows downward in the soil (the shoot emerges from the plumule)""..... I had to look radicle up... It makes a complete difference, I dont lose seeds now It just a million times easier using CannaKan.

Bueno después de no poder poner las últimas etapas, sobre la semana 8/9 hicimos el corte de la planta, dos semanas antes de lo pensado ya que tuve que recoger todo el armario para montar el nuevo proyecto la verdad la cortamos con dos semanas antes de tiempo. Un sabor rico muy a especias. La cantidad en seco fue nada más ni menos que 64,5g, unos 20gs por planta muy bien. Buen sabor, no rasca y muy buen colocón. La verdad la volvería a repetir!
