I’ ve been really really excited in growing this 🍊. I really loved it to do ti in grow diaries. Community helped me and I hope I’ll be doing always better. This lady is impressive. Crazy growth everywhere. She has had her final thinning out (after these pics). Into week 4 we go! Buds are everywhere and the sugar is starting to show. She is a beauty!

First week of flower done. Girls are looking super happy and are going strong. I fed them with a very light mix of FPJ and some fish and seaweed mix. Next feeding will include some banana FFJ. I have removed all the lower branches and leaves, only keeping the top 3 nodes (on some I left a few more). At the end of the first week, they are stretching a bit and really filling up the space. Hopefully they won't be stretching too much.

11/25 - day 67 - bushing and stretching. Will get in on day 21F for final defoliation. They will surely need it! All cultivars happy as can be, just adding water still. Getting exciting now!

Top leaves are turning yellow probably due to excess light and heat. Temperatures are very high above 30oC in southeastern Brazil. I increased the lighting distance 30cm from the top. QB LM301H 120W

May 5 - 9

Ok these auto girls have been through a lot the past few weeks: three different nutrient lines, multiple flushes, LST, a bit of supercropping. All from a newbies first grow. So at this point I think it's safe to say, these AK48 girls are pretty bad ass. Coming near the end of my 4th week and they are flowering! I can not believe I've made it this far. They look great, growing daily, and make me smile every single day. I was having a lot of nutrient issues up until I received my sample set of Oregon's Only line. Holy crap y'all my plants look great with this stuff! This line just feels more intuitive for me. I had used the GO box nutes, then some Fox Farm nutes so I know I needed to flush before using the OO nutes. It worked out. I just went for It and used the recommended full strength. Running my pH at 6.3-6.5 flowering in coco coir/perlite. I feel there needs to be a slave to the plant song? Because that's what I've willingly become. I had shoulder surgery this week and not feeling super hot, kinda depressed. But looking forward to taking care of these girls each day has really put me in a good mood. Since my shoulder is out of commission I've enlisted my daughter's help with helping me with watering, etc I water with full nutes when the fabric pots feel light. Obligatory doggo pic :) Any and all suggestions, tips, critics are welcome.

Dear diary, Week 9 marks the last week of veg as it ends with us finally transitioning into the flowering phase. As we embark onto flowing, I continue to fine-tune the environmental conditions and adjust nutrient levels to support optimal development. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 60: I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. Additionally, I increased the light intensity from 20 to 25 dli (daily light integral). To maintain the desired humidity levels, I turned on the air conditioner to dehumidify the space, successfully bringing it back down to 58% as it started slipping up to the 70s again. However, this adjustment caused a slight drop in temperatures to 24.5 degrees Celsius. ⏰ Day 61: During the evening feeding session at 18:00, the plants received a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and a pH level of 5.8. Furthermore, I elevated the light intensity from 25 to 28 dli, positioning the lights 50cm above the canopy. The night temperatures have also stabilized at 22.5 degrees Celsius after the AC change. ⏰ Day 62: I provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.6. I also conducted some light low-stress training and removed any growth on the horizontal stems, as each stem already possesses its intended 16 tops. These adjustments will help maintain an even canopy and ensure optimal light penetration. ⏰ Day 63: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.7. To enhance light exposure, I increased the light intensity to 32 dli/500ppfd and positioning the lights 48cm above the canopy. ⏰ Day 64: At 11:55, just before lights off, I applied pesticides to address any potential pest issues. During the evening feeding session, I provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.7. Additionally, I removed some excess growth and increased the light intensity to 37 dli/580ppfd, getting to the optimal levels before flowering starts. ⏰ Day 65 (Day 1 Flower): I initiated the flowering phase by switching the lights to a 12/12 cycle and provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and a pH level of 6.1. As the plants enter the flowering stage, I have adjusted the nutrient composition. The calmag has been reduced to 1.5ml/l, Bud Candy has been added at 1ml/l, and the A+B mix has been increased to 3ml/l. The plants water consumption has also increased, now reaching approximately 2 liters per day, which aligns well with the timing of the light cycle change. The temperatures have stabilized around 25 degrees Celsius during the day, and the relative humidity ranges between 55-60%. I have also set up the scrog net in preparation for the upcoming stretch phase. ⏰ Day 66: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and adjusted the pH to 6.0.

OK guys I'm back after being away for 2 weeks. I've proceeded to a final transplantation into a 9L AirPot container, right before I left for vacations. I also added a canopy-ring in order to open up the plant and start some LST without adjusting strings everyday. A friend was in charge of the grow room while I was away, and she did a pretty good job. The GBK is healthy, with a vigorous growth, she has 8 main summits and the lower parts were pruned. She will remain under vegetative stage for 1~2 weeks before flipping into 12/12 light schedule. I can't wait to see her full of buds! Thanks for stopping by 👊

First of all, I’d like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Fast Buds for allowing me the opportunity to grow their new strains! I'm starting out with CC this week and will start the CA in a couple of weeks. There is some data out there on the CC strain that seems very legit to me. If that info is correct one of the C's stands for Cookies. I really love the Girl Scout Cookies I grew from Fast Buds, if CC is related to GSC she should be amazing! 👍 Dropped the seed in the soil today, I'll update once she pops. She's front-center in the group pics. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since Fast Buds has been kind enough to allow me to preview their new CC and CA strains I am now going to be starting a new seed every 2 weeks. This should allow me to get all of the plants I want to grow this season in the perpetual harvest rotation. I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest.
