Week 4: Continued Growth and Training Hello dear Weed friends, welcome to my fourth weekly report on my exciting grow with four different strains: Lemon Gelato, Orange Sherbert, Apple Fritter and Bruce Banner. This week I learned a lot and continued to care for and promote my plants. I took the following steps: I applied LST (Low Stress Training) to all plants to improve their shape and let more light reach the lower branches. I topped the Apple Fritter several times, as it grows the fastest . I hope that this will result in many thick buds. I topped the other three strains only on the main stem to allow them more side branches. The plants look good, even though I sometimes doubt whether I am doing everything right. But I am confident that they will be even stronger and more beautiful in 1-2 weeks. My next goal is to repot the plants in larger pots in 2 weeks and attach a net in the tent. This should help me distribute the plants evenly and use the space optimally. I also want to avoid having such a mess in the tent as last time. That made harvesting very difficult. Another highlight this week was buying a new lamp: the Lumatek 300 Watt Pro Edition. This lamp is simply fantastic! It has a great illumination, a high efficiency and a cool look. It looks like a UFO! I am very happy with this investment and gave my old lamp to my brother. So it stays in the family. I water my plants as needed with 1 liter of water each, to which I add 100 percent of the recommended fertilizer schedule. I use all options of the fertilizer, which you can read in the fertilizer directory. I would also like to show you my timelapse video that I have been making since the first week. The video shows you how my plants have changed from week to week. It is really impressive to see how they have grown. I will update the video every four weeks and show you the latest video. This week we gave them another trim up a tied them down more a today they have bounced back like nothing happened, strong ones they gonna be an so nice an healthy! The Sangria is looking really beautiful, she’s Been flowering for lil over 2 weeks now so we still got a good amount of weeks for her to build a little more but she is already looking amazing, can’t wait for her to be done, smelling delicious! Ok so my weeks are off right now this is like week 10 or so they have been stacking nicely and the smell is great they are very sticky to the touch and they tend to produce tight dense buds grown indoors so hopefully same here .. The strain is hardy and takes well to environmental changes and challenges .. cheers

22cm vertical growth this week! Definitely entered flowering.

Day 72: 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off the same with ventilation. Ferilization is the same except BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 they are being flushed. Water intake also remains the same 200ml per day. Humidity approx 35 percent. Day 74: BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 have to be harvested this week Friday so no more water. Colorado Cookies and Northern Light next week so started flushing them. Glueberry OG needs a bit more time.

We have officially started low stress training this girl on June 29th. The second video is on Friday July 1st within two days she grew a good amount . As you can see in the second video she suffered a little light burn. My mistake I didn’t think she was big enough to get burnt by the light but when I went to adjust her stakes I noticed she got burnt. So I quickly fixed it and put the light farther away.

Okay. So she stopped packing on weight right after her first real weight gain. Bad salt build up within the soil, ph off from 6.2 to 7.2 run off. Going to add recharge or some compost tea on next grow to help with that. Also, I think I could have gotten away with giving less nutrients. She smells amazing. Smells like trash from a far but as soon as you touch her, her aroma opens up to the fruitiest scent I have ever smelled! Another odd thing which might have to do with genetics. Many of the buds are hanging off to the right side of the stem. Like they have grown to one side of the stem and look like they are about to fall off. Mayne this had something to do with her not getting much bigger than she has? See last few photos and video. About a week or two left. Last feed a few days ago. Water from here on out.

Last week for these ladies. Kept the soil moisture levels very low leading up and did a final heavy de leaf of pretty much anything that doesn’t have trichomes growing on it and will be shutting the lights and turning the heat off for the last 48 hours. Keeping a lot of the sweet leaf on to keep the moisture throughout drying and will do a dry trim. Will be aiming to have a long slow drying period (12-15 days hanging) before I jar them up for curing. Won’t be adding many quality pictures this week since half the time they’re in the dark but will post harvest pictures as they come down :)

She's getting closer to the end. More orange pistils. Still a few weeks away though.

Day 139! (08 February 2020) Spider mites seem under control, but with long flowering bitches like these I start worrying for mold in the last weeks of flowering because it's very rare to have a humidity lower than 60% throughout the year in this country. I took a sample to dry and test how it is going, I found a broken shoot (I don't know how it happened) and I removed it for drying. Luckily, it was a shoot containing lower buds and it was not even heavy. But for the sake of trying how she is going, in some way I celebrate this... Also I removed the portion where I firstly saw that white mold was forming, before it spreads its f*cking spores everywhere. I reduced fertilizer from 0,4 g/L to 0.2 g/L as for ripening time. She's started to lose vigor, she's entering senescence and her time is coming, after seeing her every day in the last months, we're kind of a long time relatives. I see she's aged almost enough for harvest. Day 140 It's the lady's last month and Just hope I wouldn't lose any bud because of mold. Spider mites is a controlled infection but it worries me not. Also I regret having had to use neem oil for the f*cking spiders, I wish that the chemicals in it wouldn't impart an odd taste to the buds. I won't do any other drench until harvest, flush mediated.

It turned out perfectly, the lower level will be closed by the boards, the upper 8 calls by the upper illumination We bloom, though not yet everywhere

Buds are slowly starting to fatten up, had another rise in ec runoff which I suspect is because she isn't getting enough feeds per day and salts are building as she takes up water. I'm fixing this by feeding more frequently for 24 hours at a lower ec (1.4) to bring her down to 1.9. Hand watering in coco is not ideal, the next grow will be done on a wilma system to allow for multiple feed per day which should also see even better growth. She's starting to smell great and there is some serious trichome production. Sugar leaves are sticky and the smell as the name suggests is like sweet blood orange soda. Can't wait to see how the buds smell after curing.

Week 3 is starting off busy. Day 14 I finally got some Bone Meal. So, I added 2 more inches on topsoil. 1st I added 1/4 cup of Bat Guano ea., 1/3 cup Bone Meal ea., 2tbsp of Potassium Nitrate and Calcium Nitrate ea. Lightly mixed into top 1" of coco. Then I added 1-1/2" of Canna coco mix (perlite10%, worm casting25%) over top of soil. Then, I topped it of with cedar chips spread over both surfaces. Day 15, 12noon I watered both girls with 1/2Lt of 6.4PH water only. 8pm I decided to LST a couple of umbrella leaves each. Hope it helps with light penetration. There's a bunch of new growth under those two leaves. How does it look so far.... Day 18: Lot of changes... Switched my lights around. The TS-1000 made heat where the Pro2 Epistar 400W didn't. Was just a hunch but as soon as I changed the temp of the room went down 8degrees. The TS-100 was directly under the exhaust fan. Cool... Took the fan out and modified the base to give some more floor room, then added a humidifier. Was going to install a DIY Co2 generator but my silicone must he too old and didn't dry. I'll clean off, fix and install tomorrow. Ladies look great, I removed the LST wires from the two umbrella leaves. 2 days were enough to get the under foliage to grow past them. Watered 1Lt "water only" PH 6.2 each plant. Added some Epson Salt to foliar spray and cleaned off the leaves on each plant.
