Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Only 10 days of drying and 2.5 weeks of curing, but I'll post the smoke report: Tastes of sweet Carmel creaminess. Very smooth and great high. That's why so many strains have gelato as one of their parents. Because it's damn good. 8/10. Very happy with gelato. Harvested 3.99 ounces (111.8 grams) of primo Gelato flower. Chopped day 82 from seed in soil.

This week has been a bit troublesome. I’ve moved the tent to a different place due to cold temps and high humidity. I’ve also lifted the pots off the tent floor as the bottom of the fabric pots were very cold. I think the combination of bad conditions and a slightly heavy feed caused a Nute lockout/mag deficiency. Due to the issues this week I’m going to veg for another week to recover. Feed 1 ,Bio heaven/Acti Vera/Bloom 1 litre 2 ,cal mag 1 Litre 3 ,alga mic 1 Litre 1 separate feed of each over the last 7 days . I added a little bloom earlier than planned, hopefully the plant will find something in there that it’s lacking.

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Pretty Canopy with lots of ramifications. — Sour Glue / Green Punch /Royal Gorilla (Medical seeds + RQS): plants look less healthy, less vigorous and developed. 2 reasons of Stress for plants: some Aphids are in the culture. May be I imported this pest with my outdoor session…Shit. I treated with Soap and Neem Oil, putting sticky traps. A few leaves and young shoots are burn . Don’t think about light burn: I didn’t exposed plants to the light after spraying treatments. I reduced light to protect plants but light deficiency cause damages too. I feed the plants for the first time with growth nutrients: may be it caused a nitrogen excess. The soil is very rich and doesn’t need more nutrients. I flushed with clean water and let the plants recovering one more week on vegetative cycle. The Green Punch is the most injured, the others 5 are relatively safe. Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds
