At the start of this week I bought another lumatek light for the 2nd tent and I'm already seeing the rewards. We have a smart meter and it seems the tent cost on average is 5p per hour so why the fuck not get another one eh?🤷‍♂️🏼 I have been feeding the solo plant from the wilma Res so it stays consistent but I'll be flushing them very soon indeed. Day 15-defoliated her probably for the last time after a few weeks of growth, she was very bushy. Added another fan to get more air moving as well. Also, I decided to try out the AN Sensi Bloom set. I didn’t mean to get the coco version but a little extra cal-mag won’t hurt in this case, I only fed at 75% strength and added big Bud powder at 0.5 grams/liter. I’m hoping her stretch finishes soon or I’ll run out of space, although she’s starting to really stack.

What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. In the dark for 48 hours on day 89, chopped day 91. After full dry and cure I ended up with 80 grams dry yield buds. She out stretched my tent (60") twice, still yielded very well. Flower came out as tight, slightly dark purple to green flower with orange hairs. Smells earthy, herbal, nothing overwhelming. Smokes great, flavor is very similar to the nose earthy, slightly herbal with a gassy finish faintly present. Feels fairly potent, definitely a heady high, and unfortunately munchies induced activity increased. Overall a great first run with Zamnesia seeds autoflower, if and when running again SCROG almost seems required.

Guava Runtz – Week 8 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) The weather was okay. Guava Runtz is being fed regularly and gets lots of sun. There are only a few small leaf issues, otherwise she is doing well. She is now around 45 cm tall with lots of leaves and is fully in the flowering stage. A light scent is starting to appear, somewhat reminiscent of sunflowers. Nice growth.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Day 44, 2nd of November 2021: Hi there. So the plants had 2 days of darkness before the lamp was on again and from today it is 12/12. Big change also is the power: It is now on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation is different as well under the 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hours on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same, temperature as well. Fertilization changed, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. Previously it was just 1ml per liter each. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week. Not much to mention as it just started.
