Moved to cropsalt bloom and work casting this week

2020-08-16 End of week 8 of flowering! Nutrients are still stable with the same amounts (EC=1600/1200). Gonna ride them out until the end of the growth. Gonna start monitoring the trichomes daily so I can figure out when to flush. They look about 100% milky!

Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to take care of the plants over the holidays. As a result, the plant on the left was exposed to a lot of heat from the grow light. Even though I adjusted the light height regularly, the plant simply kept growing straight into it. By now, a strong and very noticeable smell has developed, so I had to install the filter on the floor since I no longer have space above the grow light. Today I also managed to install my VIVOSUN grow cam. After several attempts to connect it to the Wi-Fi, it finally worked. The image quality is good, but I’m not 100% satisfied with the overall build quality of the camera and its mounting system. I trimmed the plant today as well, removing the old yellow leaves and thinning it out a bit. And honestly—my hands smell amazing now. 🌱

Upgraded to a Spider Farmer se5000 rail light. After just a few days I notice the difference. I highly recommend this light . I choose to keep the the driver outside the tent. The plants are all doing great with some small buds showing up.

Questa settimana ho deciso di montare una lampada di supporto a LED per poter far arrivare a tutte le piante abbastanza luce, le piante continuano a crescere e i fiori sembra che stiano maturando per bene spero di raccogliere almeno 4/5 piante entro 2/3 settimane,perché alcune sono molto indietro rispetto ad altre.

Otra semana más , última semana de crecimiento , eso si , e impresionante el ritmo y el tallo que están tirando estas cookies gelato. El color que tiene deja ver lo Sanas que están, AgroBeta es una gran marca de fertilizantes, solo hay que ver cómo andan estas niñas. . La humedad anda al 50% la temperatura está entre 20/22 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . I mean this genetics it's excellent ... if I would grow zombie kush again ... good job ripper seed ... she fought and was very strong against the plagues after a beginning outdoors ... she fought against the white fly. worms .. red spider and other insects ... and deserves your recognition ... it will not be the most beautiful plant with its leaves impeccable ... but she is a champion ... thank you ripper seed .. .

Semana del 3 al 9 de Mayo. Como puse en la pregunta de la semana anterior, ya vieron que tengo una chica hermafrodita. No tengo otro indoor para ponerla, así que la saqué a otra habitación y le puse la TGL60 a ver que pasa. Las otras tres plantas siguen en el indoor con la TGL 220. Como estaban con la malla, me costó mucho sacarla del indoor. Tuve que atarla porque las ramas no se sostenían muy bien por si mismas, así que ahora tengo este ramo que cocecharé más o menos el 16 de mayo. No parecen engordar mucho los cogollos, creo que los insectos afectaron más de lo que pensaba, sobretodo porque estos atacan las raíces. Las luces estaban a 15cm porque es lo que sugiere el fabricante para este periodo. Consideren que no es el clásico led y ya está. Ahora están a 20cm por miedo a que vayan a sufrir algún estrés lumínico.

Final days coming up, should be hanging next week. Can’t wait to try her out.

These girls are just days away from harvest! I will closely monitor their pistils, calyxes & trichomes throughout the week so I can determine exactly when to give these girls their two days darkness before chop! They are all starting to fade out really nice and the smell just keeps getting stronger each and every day! After this last feed/flush I will only give these girls R/O-Distilled Water with nothing added whatsoever. Please enjoy the videos I posted of the girls! Update: 9/7 The pistils and trichomes are about right where I want them. I’d say I have about 90% Cloudy, 7% Clear & 3% Amber Trichomes. A majority of pistils have gone from white to amber and have retracted. The girls have stopped drinking water so I transferred them to my darkroom to finish off for two days. After the two days I will chop and hang at 67°F @ 55%RH for 8-10 days until the stems begin to snap.

I start immediately apologizing for not respecting the week in updating the diary, but with work and looking after the plants I had no time. Now it is the end and I have collected everything. The experiments with ice water went really well and the pollen yield has increased again. The plant is spectacular and I am very proud of my work and what I have achieved. The buds are very compact and smell really exaggerated. This Cali I cleaned it all out of the excess leaves apart from the sugary little ones and left it in whole branches and hung it on a clothesline that I am leaving in a dark room with the values checked at least for the next week so that I can start a new cycle. But the smell is just too much!!!! Great FastBud and sure I'll be making more varieties soon. The monkey has now burrowed on my shoulder and the desire to try this delight is more and more.

Most recent defoliation 3/24! She spent her first month feeding just off nutrients in fox farm soil. On 3/2/22 I gave her her first Gaia Green trio feeding!! She has exploded with growth since!! She was defoliated on 3/27 again. She was given her second feeding of @gaiagreenorganics on 4/02. This lady was defoliated on 4/10 and 4/19 and 5/1. She received a all purpose/bloom feed of Gaia green on 5/2. She was also flipped to 12/12 light cycle on 5/2. She received a heavy defoliation on 5/29. 5/30 gave the girl a 15 tablespoon dose of Gaia green worm castings. Installed the new Marshydro Fc-4800 in the tent on 5/31!! Helloo, planties are roughtly 3 week into vegetative growth. Into second week our cat snucked into the tent and being the motivated gardener she is, dug out quick one and speedy chille, we put them both back into place gave planties some water, and with time they recovered, speedy chille got most stress, but being photoperiod, recovered slowly aswell, still the shortest and very loved. :) so everythings good Royal kush has the strongest smell of them all, few leafs we defoliated we grind in our hard and smell a deep green canna scent. Northen lights is the leader in hight since begining When planties grew 5 tops we topped them, began doing LST and a bit of defoliation, bended stems away from the lamp and taking off leaf that blocks light reaching tops. The stems hardened and remind me now more of a tree

I was finally able to sex them all. 1 Male/Hermie, and the rest have beautiful white pistles forming. They are starting to go through a stretch now as well. I also ordered some more grow lights 3 Mars Hydo TS1000's. I can't wait for those to arrive.)

Last week of Ozz! I’m getting some nice trichromes. Surprisingly, she doesn’t smell much, but she’s still beautiful. She also has the best ratio of buds to leaves out of the three plants of the same strain. I’ll start trimming Dorel by Friday and #4 this weekend to free some space. Then it’ll be Ozz’s turn on Sunday or Monday. The relative humidity levels are getting dangerously high, but the temperatures are still fine until next week. Since she’s covered, I have good hopes she’ll hold. No additional bud has rotted since two weeks ago :)) Just finished trimming Dorel and will do #4 tomorrow. Fan leaves were super frosty so I kept them to cook, ended with 17g of trim (only fan leaves and too small buds) as well as 37g of dry buds. Not much but it was the smallest plant of the 3 by far, I wasn’t expecting more. First taste test was really conclusive, looking forward to testing again after some curing! Edit before I complete the harvest section, all 3 plants cut and just Ozz remaining to dry and trim. Terrible outcome for #4 as I had to throw more than half of the plant away due to bud rots. I’m still really confused about what happened: the day before harvest I noticed and removed 3 bud rots from the plant - so far so good. All remaining buds were fine, but when trimming I realised every single top was maroon-ish at the base and I could clearly see a start of mold when opening some of them. Although I could clearly confirm what it was with a 30x lens, the white spots were extremely scarce and small (less than 1x1mm each time). It doesn’t seem really coherent with how it should have spread. Nonetheless, I didn’t take risk and threw away any bud where I could identify white mold with the lens, and put aside the ones where I had a doubt in pop corns (the “7g maybe”, cf below) to track the evolution. A quick summary of the harvest so far: - Dorel: 250g wet, 37g dry / 17g trim (54g total) - #4: 450g wet, 33g dry / 7g maybe / 29g trim (62-69g total) + a lot thrown away - Ozz: only weighted the two bigger canopie I cut, 162g+142g≈300g wet. It represents around half of the whole plant (probably less, but stem included), so around 5-600g wet total. Still have a few days before I start trimming, but considering the hassle I might start early to not be overwhelmed.
